Gold Mine Cabin - 3mins to Wolf Mnt Winery

very cute and private cabin, not far from Dahlonega. We oved all the Gold Mining Decorations and that it was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Wonderful stay at cabin; nicely appointed. The mattresses in the primary and secondary rooms were too firm for my preference, but otherwise, we were very comfortable. Nice to sit out on the porch/deck for coffee in the mornings and by the campfire in the evenings sipping wine. Nights quiet and peaceful. 10 minute drive to the town square and wineries; 1/2 hr drive to Amicalola Falls State Park for ziplining or hiking; 5 min from Walmart for groceries. Everything we desired for a relaxing stay.

Was a really great time, the property was immaculate and everything you could need. From utensils, so laundry pods, grilling gas, everything! The home owner responds so fast and has put together a really thoughtful list of local activities. Will definitely visit the Gold Mine Cabin again!

We loved this cabin. The first thing i have to do when i get to any vacation rental is clean. Im ocd about cleaning. This cabin was clean. I didn't have to do anything. The location was perfect. Close to town but still had a private feel. I loved the fact that host provided toiletries and everything was labeled so well. I really felt the host went above and beyond whats required. The little touches have me already planning next years trip. Also the beds were very comfortable. I loved the upstairs loft area.

It was a wonderful family Christmas! We couldn’t use the fireplace stove it wasn’t working but enjoyed the outdoor fire pits.The creek in the property was an added bonus for our grandkids who mined for gold! We will definitely be back!

The Gold mine cabin is located in a quiet secluded area. If you or your party have any disabilities the steps getting in and out of the cabin can be difficult. The area to park more than one vehicle is not level. The pictures shown in the search for the property make the inside of the cabin look larger than it is. The black and white bedroom is very tight. The red and white room is larger and we were able to put the babies play pen at the foot of the bed and still have room to walk around the room. There are closets in the two bedrooms with plenty of room to hang your clothes. The loft upstairs only has pipes attached to the wall to hang clothes. The bedrooms on the first floor have no chest of drawers to take clothes out of your suitcases, so you will have to live out of your suitcase during your stay.The temperature during our stay was freezing and the heater kept the cabin warm and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water during our stay and with four adults we never ran out of hot water. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms were all clean. The outdoor deck area was unkept with bottle caps and a cooler left behind. I haven’t contacted the host but there is a slight leak in the roof by the skylight over the kitchen island. The internet was reliable and it worked very well. As you walk into the cabin be careful because the floor is uneven. From the hallway it slopes down towards the kitchen island. Well, we had a great time during our stay at the Gold Mine Cabin.

The cabin was exactly like the pictures on VRBO. The cabin amd the grounds were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with all supplies, as were the bathrooms. Crystal, the owner, was very friendly and stayed in touch to be sure our needs were met. We loved this secluded cabin. We had our privacy and it was still close to all the sight seeing opportunities of Dahlonega. We'd stay again if we get a chance to return. Thank you, Crystal

The cabin had everything you would need. The location was perfect. It was a 10 minute drive to downtown and close to many wineries.

We stayed here for a week and it was the perfect getaway for our elopement week! The home is just as advertised and the location is incredible. Plenty of privacy, but close to the historic downtown area, various hiking trailheads, and lots of other fun activities and towns. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Dahlonega!

Great Cabin beautiful grounds and great location!

Our family of 5 loved this beautiful cabin. It’s even better than the pictures online. We loved the cabin decor and it has everything you need. The stream in the back was so peaceful. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with plenty of deer. The drive into town is short distance away with plenty of great restaurants. It was the perfect central location for our travels to Ellijay, Helen, Anna Ruby Falls and Amicalola Falls. We would definitely recommend this cabin and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

All was good, could have been a little cleaner floors had hair and dust and porch was a mess I cleaned it myself no biggie

My 3 sisters and I had such a wonderful time staying at Gold Mine Cabin. We stayed 3 nights and got some great shopping in. The house is decorated beautifully, and the beds are very comfortable. Crystal is a wonderful host and answers your calls immediately. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again in the near future.

Perfect cabin for a girls weekend exploring the wineries! Loved the location, the outdoor area by the river was so peaceful. I also had to work a bit and had no issues with the Wifi.

We were in town for a wedding. The location was perfect and the house was the perfect location to feel like you got away, but also close to everything. My kids loved the twin beds and playing outside. The power went out Friday unexpectedly and owner answered call and quickly offered to do what she could to help, even though it was out of her control. Thankfully it came back on quickly. Would stay again

Our trip mini vacation was amazing. Cabin was great.

The cabin was clean and as described. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to find. Just a few miles from everything. The lights/fans were labeled which was a plus! We drove our truck with a trailer that held our bikes and had no issues parking. Quiet neighborhood and the stream beside the cabin was so relaxing. relaxing.

This is an adorable cabin perfectly situated in a quiet mountainside community only minutes from downtown Dahlonega! It is really well decorated and the owner, Crystal, is very caring and attentive. She even helped out with a a 5 year olds reading packet that was accidentally left behind! The property is gorgeous and we lived this little waterfall right next to the house! Cons for us were few and very minor overall; no cookie sheet which I needed but luckily Dollar General is minutes away so we bought and donated one to the cause! Cookware is okay but they need more things for cooking like casserole type dishes, potato peeler, a hand mixer… little things that make a home away from home seem more ready for a family that cooks! The king-sized beds were VERY FIRM so if you like that it’s great! And the upstairs loft/bedroom creaks like a mother!! Wooh!! Bring earplugs! Overall this is a 5! Thank you!!

The cabin was lovely-nice and quiet, but close to shopping and grocery store. We were there for four nights and hated to leave. Crystal, the property manager was quick to respond to questions and we enjoyed working with her. We will be back!

We actually have been to Dahloegha before so we were familiar of the area. Great location for the trek into downtown multiple times and surrounding areas. We drug our two kids and their significant others and our two dogs with us while we were there to attend a celebration of life for a dear friend. We all were very impressed with the cabin because it was cabinee. All the accommodations were wonderful. The fully stocked kitchen, tvs, the chairs outside and fire pit. The bedrooms fit us great for 6 people to spread out. The beds and linens were so comfortable. It was a pleasant surprise to find the running stream in earshot of the cabin. My adult kids even panned for gold with the trays in the cabin. We highly recommend this VRBO and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Not only was our host amazing and communicative but the cabin itself was perfect for our family. Everything was so rustic and clean and we had a great time hanging out on the indoor porch by the fireplace. We enjoyed being so close to downtown Dahlonega while also grateful for the privacy this cabin offered for us. The pack of 20 deer we saw bounding outiwide in the backyard one morning was also fun to watch too! Would highly recommend for any season of the year.

The Gold Mine Cabin is set up with all items a family needs for a vacation. The cabin is beautiful with decor from the region. The property is relaxing with little traffic nearby. Hope to visit again in the future. I highly recommend this host and location.

Loved being tucked in the woods and not too far from downtown Dahlonega. Perfect place if you have kids. Loved the outdoor string lights leading to the fire pit where you can hear the creek just a few feet away. Everything felt tidy and clean.

Terrific cabin that sleeps 4 or more comfortably. Plenty of great kitchen stuff and towels. Right next to Wolf Mountain Winery. Best aspect is the owner who communicated clearly and when needed was available and very accommodating. Thank you Crystal

Very quiet area. We were there when hurricane helene came thru but was still quiet and relaxing. Cabin was clean and well kept.

We planned the trip to escape major hurricane in Tampa. The trip was not only one of the best EVER , but our home was intact . I will be a routine visitor from here on out . The cabin felt like home and the host were absolutely AMAZING. It was ABSOLUTELY Perfect. Thank you a million times over !!!! You have my kids the best memories and I can’t thank you enough!!!

It was a very peaceful stay. The only thing I would say is the toilet in the downstairs bathroom needs some work done to it. Other than that it was perfect.
