Great place for a small family gathering. Beautiful covered porch, fire pit, views of wild animals. Had everything necessary for a great visit.

A beautiful cabin in the hills for Christmas, what could be better?!

The house was extremely clean and even included a welcome basket. It contained everything we needed and was very quiet which was perfect for us. It was dog friendly which is another plus. We stayed here for our trip to Deadwood and Spearfish to photograph the wildlife in the area.

Nice residence, close to things to do.

The location was great for skiing and only about 5-10 minute drive to Deadwood. Very clean, provided games, dvd and other entertainment.

The owner was like family by the time we finished our stay. She kept in contact with us until we checked in and immediately thanked us for staying. This was the best place we have taken family. So clean,organized, and well stocked with utensils. If you love family game time I believe every game invented must be in the house. We will be booking here again as our grandkids did not want to leave.

Clean and useful. Spiral staircase is a cool feature, but not kid friendly. Not a negative; just fyi for those with little kids. Tricky stairs to navigate for little ones. Driveway is very steep, so be advised that 4WD may be needed. Great little place, close to slopes.

Unit was clean and cozy. Communication with the owner was excellent. They even came to remove snow from around the cabin after we had 10 of snow. Location was a short walk to Terry Peak, only about 0.2 miles. Would love to come back!

This was a nice place to stay. Our family enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Sat by the fire and used the grill to make a yummy dinner. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Gold Claim Lodge served as our home away from home for a family get-together. The cabin was exceptionally clean and was perfect for our time together. We appreciated the incredibly well-stocked kitchen as we cooked most meals together during our stay. Our grandchildren also appreciated the many games available, as well as the play area in the loft. Comfortable, cozy and perfect for our family. The cabin is also pet-friendly which was important for us. Amanda showed incredible compassion and contacted us regarding an electrical outage during a storm. We would highly recommend Gold Claim as the place to be when visiting the Beautiful Black Hills, and we would book again!

This cabin was a wonderful place to stay. Amanda was AMAZING in helping us whenever we had questions. The views outside of the cabin was spectacular! We saw a lot of wildlife right off of the deck. The cabin was very clean & our teenage son sure enjoyed the game room downstairs.
