Forest cabin on 4 acres, Newly renovated, Quiet and secluded.

Dirty! Mouse poop in the kitchen drawers, we drove a car and the driveway had big ruts in it, and nails, we got two nails in are tire that cost $240.00 to replace, farther away from sights and necessities than we thought, we were misled on how close sights are , we will not ever go back there! House is reached by traveling on dirt roads after departing from paved roads. The driveway is dirt and on an incline. The house is nice. No working A/C but I didn’t check that out ahead of time. It’s about a 45 minute drive to the pike’s peak, manitou springs area and about the same amount of time to the Florrisant area. The house was clean and had outdoor seating.

We loved property! The cabin was cozy and had room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room for preparing our own meals. We enjoyed watching the animals and my kids liked exploring and climbing on the rocks. The fresh baked cookies were a delicious addition.

Great home, lovely views of the mountains, very comfortable! But very remote. Be aware that there are dirt roads for the last couple of miles before reaching the home and cell service is spotty. Host made this clear in our communication but we didnt realize it was quite so remote. Not a bad thing at all, just something to be aware of. We really enjoyed our stay and how quiet it was.

We had a great time out here enjoying the quiet and being away from everything. Place was clean and easy to find as long as you had an offline map cause there was no service but that was part of charm being able to fully disconnect from home and work. Will look into availability next time we head out that way. Had everything we needed to be right at home on the mountain

The property care taker helped make our visit wonderful. She left a big plate of freshly baked cookies that were absolutely divine! The property itself is located in a beautiful mountain setting. Absolutely breathtaking!10/10 I would book here again.Thank you again for making this trip so special!

Absolutely stunning setting, with mule deer visiting and calm, peaceful surroundings. Spacious living area, with a large kitchen and plenty of supplies for cooking at “ home”.Probably my only complaint was the top loading washer, as I have rather short arms so reaching the bottom was somewhat difficult ( I prefer front loading for this reason) Be prepared for a bit of a drive to local towns, but nothing more than 15 minutes or so…but did lose gps connection for a few minutes ( if you’re directionally challenged, download the directions in advance) The description says parking for 9 or 10 cars, but it probably would actually work for 4-5but not much more..

We enjoyed sitting by the fire and letting our dogs roam the land. But the space was not clean on arrival.

Wow! What an amazing stay we had at the cabin!The place is absolutely beautiful and very well equipped — everything we needed was there. The surrounding nature is breathtaking and made the experience even more special.The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. We were surprised with delicious cookies and a lovely handwritten note, which truly touched our hearts.Check-in was super easy, and the whole stay was smooth and relaxing. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

House location is VERY remote, but the surrounds are so pretty!

It was such a cozy cabin feel ! We showed up at night and the Christmas lights were on and baked cookies sooo sweet !

We had an amazing time at this house and it was in such a beautiful location where there was a deer outside the kitchen window when we had dinner, it was incredible. We would like to come back in the fall when the leaves start changing

Was our second time staying at this property, was great again as was the first time. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and nature. The caretaker has always taken care of our needs.

The cabin was extremely cute and quiet. The host were some of the best we’ve encountered when it comes to making someone feel comfortable. Will definitely book in future for secluded getaway!

Finding the property went well and the check-in was very easy. The area was beautiful. The fourth bedroom was separate from the main home, but offered a creative, secluded place for those wanting that kind of experience. Kitchen and bathroom amenities were fantastic and the space was excellent. There were even fresh cookies and s'more's fixings which were a great touch. Only downside was the musty, damp smell to the bathroom towels. Overall we loved our stay and would return!

The house was very nice. be ready for driving on gravel roads to get to the place. It was wonderful to sit out and drink coffee in the morning-chipmunks everywhere. They even furnish firewood. Two fireplaces inside and an outside fire pit.

Nice, beautiful and quiet place to stay. It was the perfect central location for all the activities we had planned for the kids. I would definitely rebook this place should we ever return to the area.

Our stay was great;the house was everything we wanted & needed it to be. The weather was great, not hot & very cool in the evening. The only problem was the broken trash can that the bear(s) got in almost every night. Never saw the bear so that was good. It was a wonderful week away!

The cabin is a bit remote but the drive is beautiful with lovely views of Pikes Peak. We regularly saw wildlife on the property which thrilled our grandchildren. The cabin was roomy and comfortable.

This property is awesome. It is off the grid, perfect for disconnecting. A peaceful environment.

Very secluded and quiet area. Saw fox and birds in the area. Typical cabin. The fire places were the best feature in the cabin.

We really enjoyed how secluded this home was. Deer and chipmunks frequented the back yard. Only suggestion: With no cell service we couldn’t text the manager and couldn’t find where she lived so, with WiFi, an email contact may be more effective if needed.

We checked in late on a Friday night and received some news that forced us to leave early. The host and owner were incredibly accommodating so that was great. But, we were sad to not get to enjoy the beautiful setting. Maybe another time.

I booked on our stay way out to Colorado. Be sure to download directions when you have service. There's no service besides the wifi once you get to the house. Which was nice for us. It is about a 30-50 drive to Manitou depending on what time of day you are traveling. It is really quiet and enjoyable! areteaveling
