Despite our last-minute booking, everything was just as expected. With a convenient location close to town and walking distance from the lake, I found this spot as we brought our dog. They have a little area for pets and bags to use. Cozy and quiet despite being so close to the road. A great snag for a weekend away.
Cabin was very comfy. Beds are very comfortable. Freshly ground coffee was delicious! LOTS of elk around cabin each morning!
We chose this property for my parents 80th and 75th birthday gift it was also their anniversary. They had such a great time and really enjoyed the stay. Thank you
Very clean, very friendly and communicative owners. Happy with the stay.
We had a great stay. The house is conveniently located and very nice. It was super clean. The whirlpool tub was great after a day of hiking. Would stay again.
Clean cozy house! Our family really enjoyed the stay.
Location was great. Beds comfortable
The property has all the amenities and is close enough to downtown Estes to walk.
Nice, clean property in a good location. Would recommend!
We spent most of the time in RMNP using the cabin as home-base. Easily accessible, cozy, great for a family of 4 + our dog.
Super location - close enough to everything to be convenient, yet not in the midst of the heavy bustle. Superb accommodation - the online description is right on the mark, it's clean, modern, and very comfortable. Thanks for excellent communications and a fabulous stay.
Had a short weekend getaway and this property had mostly everything we wanted. The Wi-Fi isn't very good as it was spotty and didn't connect well. Everything else worked perfectly and was nice. Thanks!
Property was perfect for us as we were attending a men's church function at the YMCA locatiion. Only 15 minutes away. hope to use it again next year.
Great location for an in town stay with our dog. Most other guests also had dogs. One small problem was that there were so many rental properties within that property that noise was a bit of an issue -people talking late at night and an occasional dog barking continuously. The place we stayed was clean up to eye level with dusting being the main issue up high. Bathrooms were very clean. Place was small for four adults but would be great for one or two and probably good for an extended stay. Not the best place to stay for views but it is in town everything within a few minutes drive or walk. We got snowed on anyway but we expected that and played board games. We mostly had fun.
We travelled with our older children and dogs. It was a really wonderful space for all of us. Plenty of room, completely clean and dog friendly, had everything we needed. Great space, sitting on the deck having coffee looking at the mountains or giving the dogs a short walk. Close to town and just a short drive to RMNP. Owners were very responsive to emails. We will consider this condo again on our next trip to Estes Park.
Our family attends the annual Longs Peak Scottish Irish Highland Festival every year and The Rustic Acre was the perfect place to stay! The Welborn's were so very attentive and accommodating... fantastic hosts!! Can't wait to bring an even larger group next year!!
Nice kitchen and living area. Easy accsess to parking and dog yard. Big jaccuzi tub is nice feature.
The cabin was clean and spacious
We loved our stay at the Rustic Acre, the cabin had everything we needed and a great location! We would definitely stay there again!
We really liked this and will rent it again when we go to Estes Park, if its available. Close to town, quiet, and pet friendly. I would suggest one major change of removing the flag stones and pouring a concrete sidewalk. You have to be very careful when walking on the flag stones, especially if you use a walker.
This property was in the perfect location for our week of hiking in RMNP. Our family of 4 (parents and kids ages 21 & 24) had plenty of room when we weren't on the trails. We could access the eastern entrances to the park easily as well as downtown Estes Park. The cottage had plenty of towels, basic provisions (tp, dishwashing cubes, hand soap) and the bedding was comfortable. I'd would definitely stay again.
My Wife, Border Collie, & I stayed in Old Man Mountain while in Estes Park for the weekend. I loved having the extended deck next to the doggie area for my high energy dog. The view from the deck was amazing every morning and evening. The last morning we saw about 30 elk pass right by the sink window and cross Hwy 7. My wife loved the loft and wanted to sleep in the comfortable beds upstairs, but she did not. This is a great place for a family of 4-5 with pets. The kitchen was super clean and had all the pot and pans we needed to cook breakfast and grill dinners at night (skip the dinners, and bring your own food) The location was perfect for us! We ran a race from the school that was near by, and visited several other places within walking distance (nice trail crosses the driveway) Don't pass on this place for your next visit to Estes Park.
We had a fabulous stay at the Rustic Acre! The facilities were amazing and it was very close to Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park.
Nice place to stay, clean and close to town. We enjoyed our time here.
Great place to stay in Estes with private porches and animals wandering through occasionally. This time an elk calf spent the day against the stucco fence waiting for mom to return, which she did around 5 and they left together
Great cabin close to town. Had deer right in the backyard. Lot of comforts of home waiting at the cabin. Bed was a bit uncomfortable but sleeping in a strange bed can do that sometimes. Owner was very responsive when we needed to reach out with a rental change.
