Stayed May 26, 2025Great Cabin but not a cozi cabin, no cleaning supplies such as mop, toilet cleaners, no oven mits. Very dirty stove and oven. The cabin is great it lacks the little things that make you feel at home.

Stayed Nov 26, 2025The cabin is perfect for families! There were board games in the basement, and a cute setup for the kids to play video games or watch movies together, I also loved the murphy bed. The hot tub was wonderful too, the property was spacious and absolutely beautiful!

Stayed Jun 22, 2025I’m a little late here leaving a review but had a wonderful stay here. We had our grandkids with us and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The property owner was so accommodating and even gave a lesson on disc golf. The kids loved staying downstairs and played games in the evening and like the bunk bed and pullout couch plenty of room for their own space. We had a great stay.

Stayed Aug 16, 2025The cabin was beautiful and we really enjoyed the hot tub and jacuzzi tub each night. We made some good memories there. It was so quiet and far from the everything. I stayed on the front porch swing most days and nights. So relaxing! Perfect place to unwind and reconnect. We went horseback riding at JJ stables right down the road. They were amazing. We also visited mammoth cave, lost river cave, and Nashville. Even though it’s remote and most things took a while to get to, it was great! The roads are beautiful so I didn’t mind the distance going places. I highly recommend this place!

Stayed Aug 11, 2025Clean, well-kept, comfortable, and well-managed hideaway. Beautiful surroundings. The guidelines for check in and check out were easy to follow. Great escape for a home away from home while investigating Mammoth Cave.

Stayed Oct 17, 2024This property is great to getaway from everything and enjoy some peace in nature. The only things keeping it from being an actual oasis are the lack of a comfortable king size bed in the master (the queen bed/mattress is not comfortable at all), the rest of the main floor furniture has seen better days, and the lack of furniture in places you expect it (no coffee table or table lamp in living room next to the chairs, no bedside table on the right side of the master bed, no chair or additional future for luggage/clothes in the master). There is no toilet in the master, just a jacuzzi tub (not really that useful without a sink and toilet). There is a hot tub on the deck but it is older and has seen better days. Same for the foosball table. The pictures in the profile are obviously from many years ago as the cabin has not been updated and appears to be “maintained” at status quo without any significant investment in repairs. Also there is mold growing on the second floor hallway’s wood ceiling that will need to be remediated or could cause significant health issues if left untreated. However, the water pressure and hot water were a saving grace and much appreciated. As was the disc golf course on property, which we enjoyed (and cursed) immensely! The property owner Frank was super nice and willing to answer any questions we had. It was about 45 minutes to Mammoth Came State Park due to the ferry being closed which is becoming a common occurrence so expect the long drive.

Stayed Aug 15, 2024Cabin was very clean and with ammenities as stated - It is truly located in a very private wooded area. Lots of areas in the house for our family of 6 to socialize together or to spread out for private time. The Host was very helpful and responsive to a couple of needs. We enjoyed the hot tub and wrap around balcony ! --- and would have enjoyed them even more if the outdoor temperature was a little cooler during our stay. A/C seemed to work well in the 90+ heat to keep the entire place cool enough for our needs. We did bring frisbees and played several holes of frisbee golf - which was fun. A propane gas grill vs the charcoal grill provided would have been an improvement - but it did give us a chance to grill the old fashioned way for a change of pace (charcoal/lighter fluid is bring your own). We would highly recommend the Blue Hollar Cafe just down the road - great food - very resonable price - we ate two meals there because we liked it so much the first night. We would stay here again if in the area!

Stayed Jul 17, 2024We wanted a comfy place to stay while we visited the longest cave, Mammoth Cave. This cabin was a perfect place to chill for this busy family. If youre looking for outdoor adventures and doing “camping things” without camping, this cabin is perfect.

Stayed Jun 10, 2024We had a wonderful time at this rural home. Though we were first taken back by the appearance of the house, as oppossed to the pictures on VRBO. The house is much older than pictures show; bushes in front of house are very tall, hiding some of house. The host was super friendly and helpful. The 18 hole disc golf course on the property was a definite plus for our teenage boys! Lovely place to stay.
