Enjoy Door County At It's Finest!!

The cabin was super cozy and in a great, secluded location. There are quite a lot of check-out tasks to do upon leaving, including stripping beds, that we didn’t love and need to have time accounted for, but overall it was lovely!

Excellent location, great communication! This was our third stay at Evan’s Woods. Can’t wait to return!

We had a great time staying at the property. It was exactly as described, and gave us a quiet and peaceful time away, while still being close enough to plenty of restaurants, shops, beaches, etc. The house was extremely well-equipped, and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was timely and easy, and he was very responsive to our needs. We will definitely be looking into staying here again! Thank you again for everything!

We loved our stay at Evan’s Woods and were so fortunate to be able to bring our dogs with us! We appreciated being close enough to anything we wanted to do and see while also feeling like we had our own secluded vacation in the woods away from the hustle and bustle. Every time we took a walk down the road in either direction, we were greeted by deer, which was a wonderful daily highlight! A few suggestions for minor improvements: The King bed gave us backaches so possibly a foam mattress topper may make it a bit softer. Possibly add an additional comfortable chair to the living room as when we had our family members together hanging out there, the rocking chair wasn’t comfortable for any length of time. The big chair and couch are amazing!Landscaping around the home needs some attention as many weeds are right in front of the patio, which is the side seen first upon driving up. I did do some weeding while we were there…habit and to help.

This home was a great size for 5 adults and one dog. The interior is very pretty and clean, with all the amenities we needed for our stay. It is in a great location, only about a 10 minute drive from most everything you’d want to do on the bay side of Door County. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!

We had a terrific stay here. We enjoyed the convenient location in Door County, the cleanliness of the home, and the wildlife in the area. We saw a turkey and her poults! We hope to be back!

We enjoyed visiting the towns, go karts, “Roofing the Goats” parade and event, bike riding through Peninsula State Park

Very nice property!

My family and I have come to Door County over the past six Thanksgivings to get away from the hustle and bustle. We have stayed at many places but this was perfect. Nestled in the woods, away from the road but close to the main drag on Hwy 42. Cozy, scenic and the host was excellent. He was vert responsive, check in was easy and he was a help when I asked to use the grill(which has understandably been put away for there). Great place and highly recommend it for families or any easy, peaceful retreat

This cottage had everything one would need to enjoy a few days of relaxation. The weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of trees and solitude.

It was a get great stay. House is back in the woods and quiet. Only small issue was pet fee. I copied from the web site what was posted but was charged $30.00 a day. Please note- pet fees are additional and not included in the VRBO rental rate. Our pet fee is $25 per day per dog with a limit of 2 pets.

What a lovely quiet place to stay! It is an easy driving distance to both sides of the penninsula. Great communication from the owner with check in and check out instructions as well as any questions that came up.

Overall it was a great place to stay. It was close to all Door county locations we wanted to visit but far enough away for a quite stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Evans Woods. It was quiet (except for that evening whippoorwill but that's the kind of noise we want to hear), relaxing, and natural. We were very comfortable in the cabin and enjoyed the natural light and the views. The beds were comfy and we were all asleep by 10. The kitchen had almost everything we needed and there was a very nice washer and dryer. The biggest thing of all--the property manager and owner were responsive and pleasant when we had issues. Please note: the well pump is now brand new. The old one went out while we were there and they came in to replace it promptly and assured that we didn't go without water during that time.
