Our hand-hewn log cabin is settled into a hollow with gentle spring-fed creeks, acres of forested land to explore and the quiet that our neighbor's rolling open land provides. The wrap around porch is a great place to relax rain or shine. Walk across the bridge to the gazebo, which is next to the charcoal grill, fire pit and pond. Its enchanting!

Stayed Dec 26, 2024The photos on VRBO didn’t do this location justice. Tucked away in a rolling valley on a mountain, with a gazebo, bubbling creek, and all the amenities we could ask for. Sadly it rained our entire stay, but if the sun had come out we would have taken our grandson out to explore the property. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and I had a great time cooking every evening for my family. (I miss having a gas range!)The location could not have been more perfect.

Stayed Nov 22, 2024The house is set in a lovely valley surrounded by grassy fields, rhododendrons and deer. The house itself is very well-appointed. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well decorated. The host couldn’t have been more thoughtful and professional. This rental is a bargain! A great value and a great experience.

Stayed Oct 4, 2024My wife, dog, and I visit Boone/Blowing Rock a couple of times per year from Asheville. This year the reservation timing and rental couldn't have been better. After 12 days without power and water we escaped to the Enchanting Log Cabin. It was the perfect rental being set in a beautiful and private surrounding, close to both towns, very clean, well-equipped, AND HOT SHOWERS! We will definitely return here on our future visits :)
