Enchanted - 1 BR Cabin Near Mentone, AL and Desoto State Park

This is by far , the best cabin in Mentone , it’s very clean , located in a great private lot , we seen deer all day and night . The hot tub is private , gets very hot , and the jets may be from a real JET . I put my feet against one and it beat my arch to death . The kitchen ‼ it’s hard to believe that it has everything there you need for cooking anything, in fact , you could open a restaurant in the kitchen and have everything that you need . I really loved the ice and water from the fridge. The shower feels so great with the huge shower head and endless hot water . The bed is large and very comfortable, the A/C kept us cool all day . The living room sofa was big enough for me and my girlfriend to lay on . BUT HERE IS THE MOST AWESOME THING THAT MAKES THIS THE BEST CABIN EVER . He will let you check in at 12noon , and check out time is 11am the next day . So folks , that’s 23 hours compared to most that have a check in after 3 pm and check out before 10 am . It’s 23 hours compared to 17 or 18 hours of all the other cabins . This is the best bargain for your money . I’m not renting anywhere else in mentone

The air was perfect, the cabin is beautiful, and,the stay was excellent, peaceful and relaxing, we will definitely be staying in the futures, and the host was magnificent, and very helpful ,would recommend to anyone,loved it

Mr Aaron was notified that the coffee pot was not working. He answered me immediately and bought a new coffee pot when he was available. The bed was very comfortable. Had a wonderful time and cant wait to go back.

I live about an hour away and wanted something simple for one night with a hot tub. This was a perfect little get away for that!

Had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Aaron the host was quick to answer any questions and kept us well informed. Overall had a memorable trip with the cabin being as advertised. Would highly recommend.

Everything was nice and clean and plenty of furnishings. Lots of TV channels to choose from and excellent WiFi. Will probably be back.

Clean and cozy cabin in the woods. Comfortable bed, well furnished kitchen, and great hot tub on the private back deck. Close to Mentone and Fort Payne for restaurants and groceries. Perfect for a quick anniversary get away!

This place was the perfect little getaway for me and my boyfriend we enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was hot and the fireplace heated up very fast.

The place was as listed and very quiet. Communication with owner was exceptional and quick. I arrived earlier than check in time and was able to get checked in after communication with owner. Within 5 - 10 miles there is the town of Mentone, where I checked out the market (thumbs up) and also Fort Payne which was a cool town on its own. Owner had plenty of notes and places within an hour's drive of the cabin, which was beneficial as well, such as Desoto Falls, Chattanooga, Chickamauga Battlefield, etc. Highly recommend this place to stay and hope to have the opportunity again when I am in the DeKalb County area.

The place is very cozy, secluded yet not far from major highway. Impeccably clean, great shower and amazing bed! Aaron is a sweet man and even with some issues we had (and we caused) he was very patient and understanding. We will definitely be back!

Had a great stay at this cozy little cabin. Communication with the owner was awesome as we had to reschedule twice before we were able to make the trip. There were a couple of minor issues we encountered after we checked in, but he was quick to rectify them as soon as possible. We really had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice cabin for two. Just what we needed for a short two night stay to get away and relax. Host was very accommodating and communicated promptly.

the owner of this property makes it a very great property. His communication is very prompt, he's a nice person , and his father has properties,and is also a nice professional. I think that dealing with private owners is better than dealing with relators because it's a more personal experience. The property was incredibly clean , the hot tub was clean and hot . He left notes around that answered any questions that I had . The cabin was overstocked with everything that you forgot to bring , the bed was very comfortable,the living room was cozy , the environment was quiet, and the AC unit had to be made in the antarctic. I highly recommend this place for a couple that want to get away and have complete privacy .

The cabin was as advertised and worked great for a get away with my wife!

Overall we had a good stay - left note for owner regarding electric outlet not operatonal in bedroom ( which we needed for our CPAP machines ) but as before on a previous stay very nice.

The cabin was nice , some outside TLC needed . Hot tub was definitely a plus .

We were just stopping for one night on our way further south. It was so nice that we were able to rent the cabin for just the one night.The cabin was clean, but the hot tub needed a little more of a scrub. We just decided not to use it, since we were there for just the one night. Overall, it was a nice stay!

Quiet and comfortable. Close to everything we wanted to do. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Cabin needs a few touches to be in excellent shape. Nothing that would make me not consider staying again. Owner very prompt and accommodating.

We arrived just before dark, location was easy to locate and lit up well. We decided to go to a local (ish) grocery store to get some steaks to cook. Upon arriving back and rummaging the kitchen we saw several roaches in the cabinet above the small appliances. From that point I felt like I needed to rewash everything we were going to use. There were no paper towels to be found so had to trust that the dish towels were clean. The floor was separating in many places throughout the home and really need some TLC. I noticed something that felt like gravel at my feet in bed so I removed the comforter to find long curly black hair and an unknown gritty like texture, which led me to believe that the bedding was not changed before our arrival. Overall it was okay for one night, and we enjoy the hot tub... but I did not feel at home with the roaches in the kitchen and the lack of cleanliness in the bed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the recliners, fireplace, roominess, live TV and hot tub. The plugs behind the bed doesn’t work. Cabin could use a little TLC with the floors and minor things. But it was reasonably priced and we had a good time.

I spent an amazing night at this cabin I really enjoyed the location and the back deck hot tub. The owner had great communication and left multiple notes making it clear how to use specific things making the overall stay easy.

Had a great trip for our anniversary. No complaints!
