Where else can you stay on the shore of the most beautiful lake in northern Minnesota, mere feet from the water? The lodge area is so peaceful you can hear the loons calling throughout the day and night. If you are looking for 5 star hotel amenities, this is not it. If you are looking for an authentic Minnesota north woods cabin experience, this is definitely your spot! Thanks, Bob and Elise, for an awesome time!

My son and I wanted to get away for dark skies..so we traveled to Northern Minnesota where we would have a better chance at it. The weather was cloudy most of the time. Mid-May. Cooler temps meant no bugs and summer vacationer's were still a couple of weeks away.. the resort basically to ourselves..so it was a win in our books
