Eagle’s Crest at Mentone-Amazing Views, sleeps 8

Incredible view, cozy and comfortable home. Easy access to surrounding shops, restaurants and nature hikes/parks.

This was the best stay we have had in Mentone. Wonderful hosts and a beautiful cabin. We will definitely stay again. I think we have found just the right place for our family trip!

It was a nice cabin, very homey and comfortable. The Carpenter Bees made sitting outside tricky, but they left us alone, but they were ever present during day light hours. The view and sunsets were beautiful and the breeze was always welcome. Nice place overall.

The Eagle’s Crest was very comfortable for our stay, two couples, in Mentone. Kitchen was equipped with all the necessary items/tools. Coffee maker was a Hamilton Beach Flex Brew. Downstairs bathroom had a nice walk in shower. The washer and drier are located here. The upstairs bathroom had a tub/shower. The gas, electric fireplace in the living room was pretty as well as functional. The back deck was a great place to sit and watch the sunset. Offers a great view from the brow over the valley. The fire pit on the left side of the house was another great spot to watch the sunset. The location was 5 minutes to downtown Mentone and 30 minutes to DeSoto SP and falls. Another 30 minutes to Little River Canyon. Only an hour away from Cloudlands SP and Chickamauga National Battlefield. The Wildflower Cafe in Mentone was 5 star. We enjoyed our stay!

Poor cleanliness (over 200 dead and alive lady beetles in an upstairs bedroom plus more throughout the cabin) and septic system issues were significantly disappointing with this rental that has so much potential! After our experience, we would not rent here again. On a brighter note, the amazing view, lovely furniture, cabin lay out, coffee bar area, and so many details were excellent....yet the bug infestation and septic system repairs need to be top priority!

Best part was the mountain view! It was spectacular!This rustic log cabin has seen it best days in the past. It could use a good scrubbing and redo. The gas fireplace did not work due to no propane in tank. Maintenance came out to ck and said they would have to fill the tank.We were warned about the the Asian beetles swarming this time of year, but didn't expect the amount that got inside. The windows could use some caulking.Our host/manager had great communication with my concerns and came with products to help with the insect invasion.

Cabin cozy; absolutely stunning views! Big bedrooms; relaxing living room with fireplace. Perfect fall and winter getaway!

We have stayed in several of the properties managed by Delightful Retreats, and have no regrets! Each experience has been great, and we would highly recommended any of their properties. We have made this an annual Fall experience, to stay “on the brow”, and plan to continue!

We had a wonderful retreat at Eagle's Crest at Mentone. Holly was extremely helpful and gave very complete instructions from start to finish. Cabin was just as expected with amazing views. We had a lot of fun in front yard playing with kids and enjoyed the fire ring at night. All good! Thank you.

Eagles Crest had a wonderful view from the nice big deck. Especially loved the huge swing. It was equipped with everything we needed. We will be sure to stay here again.

Great place for a girls trip. Beautiful views from cabin. Nice and relaxing. Beds were comfortable as well. Although we didn’t use them it was supplied with puzzles, games and books. Would be great for a family with children.

We’ve stayed at Eagle’s Crest twice & we are already talking about a third visit. The luxe log cabin vibes are perfect. Plenty of space to hang out on the porch or living area, massive upstairs bedrooms & a giant dining table for board games. Kitchen sufficient for easy cooking. This place is just right for a family escape.

We did a combo Valentine’s Day and birthday trip!The cabin was lovely with a beautiful view! Definitely recommend!

Cabin was very accommodating for three couples and children.

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4, plus our pup! Firstly, I was very impressed with the cleanliness. We take our dog everywhere and have stayed in pet-friendly accommodations that we were disappointed to discover were not up to our standards for cleanliness. This was absolutely not the case here, which was very much appreciated considering I have a crawling infant. The location was also perfect, and we LOVED the porch! We will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous weekend at Eagle Crest! It was a great escape from the real world! The back deck and the view was amazing! We had 6 adults and we had plenty of space. The kitchen table was perfect for game night!! We hope to return some day!
