You enter thru the fully equipped kitchen that’s just waiting to be cooked in. The kitchen opens up into the huge open rustic living room and dining room with exposed wood support beams, antler chandelier, original rock fireplace with modern gas insert, and sliding glass doors to the deck. This great room is the hub of the home and beckons togetherness and quality time. It features walls of windows to take in the views, has tons of board games & movies, and has ample comfortable seating for everyone. Just off the living room is the full bathroom (complete with a washer and dryer) and the hallway to 2 beautiful bedrooms with queen memory foam mattresses. This cozy yet roomy 1100 sq ft single level cabin sleeps up to 6 comfortably. A comfortable futon in the great room can be used for additional sleeping arrangements. Additional Information (for those that like details):

Kitchen & Dining:
The well stocked full-size kitchen will allow you to cook and enjoy many meals from either the dining room or the deck outside. Full sized stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee maker and coffee bar, toaster, pots and pans, dishes/silverware, glassware, cooking utensils, starter coffee and spices all provided. A large vintage dining table provides seating for 6 inside, or most guests prefer to have their meals to take in the views at the outdoor table on the deck outside.

Living Room:
The large open rustic living room is the heart of the home. The windows allow in the most incredible light and views, although curtains are provided for privacy. A comfortable full-size futon can be used for additional sleeping arrangements. A collection of books about Estes Park and RMNP are available to read. There are also a chess table, board games, and puzzles for hours of fun. The cabin also has wireless internet for those wishing to stay connected. Or, for a night in, log into your personal streaming accounts to watch all your favorite movies and shows on the living room TV. A DVD player, DVDs, record player, and radio are also available. And on cold winter nights, or to set the stage for a little romance, the original stone fireplace with electric insert will keep you cozy with just a flick of a switch. The fireplace gives off the most soothing heat and ambiance.

Bedrooms:
Both beautifully decorated bedrooms feature comfortable queen beds with memory foam-type mattresses and are furnished with both log and vintage furnishings and black-out curtains. Dressers are located in both closets, along with fans, luggage racks, and hangers for your use. All bed linens are professionally laundered off site.

Bathroom:
The adorable full bathroom is decorated in traditional 1920’s finishes and a fly-fishing theme. It features a shower tub combo and a full-size washer and dryer for your use. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, laundry detergent, etc. are all provided.

Please note, there are several surrounding cabins nearby in the area, including a shared driveway with our long-term tenant at the cathedral cabin, so if you’re looking to be secluded in the woods this might not be the one. However, its proximity to town and its peaceful and quiet setting still feels private enough for you to relax and enjoy your time both inside and out.

Accessibility: The cabin is generally accessible in all seasons. The short driveway to the cabin is paved although there is a slight hill getting up to it which can get icy at times. Like most mountain towns, driving a 4x4 or an all-wheel drive vehicle in the snowy months (Oct-May) is generally recommended. The driveway and entrance to the home is all on one level. There is only a small step from the gravel driveway to the cement patio, and another small step up to get into the cabin. The outdoor staircase seen in the pictures is to access the side street and the unfinished basement. The living space is all on one level.

This location simply can’t be beat. To get to the nearby restaurants, shopping, river-walk, and festivals at Bond Park, simply drive or walk (to avoid traffic and finding and paying for parking) down the hill to town.

**Not many rental cabins can offer the rare combination of rocky mountain charm with a hot tub, fireplace, washer/dryer, AC, and proximity to both town and Rocky Mountain National Park. This rental is perfect year-round for couples, friends, and families alike. **

Rules: be respectful, no early check-in or late check-outs, and unfortunately no pets, no smoking, and no parties

Guests are asked to please start a load of towels, to load and start the dishwasher, and to take the trash out upon check out.

This is not just another boring vanilla rental. This is our personal vacation cabin and our only rental for our locally owned family business. We hope our hospitality blows you away compared to the large corporate run rentals in the area. As such, every detail has been carefully thought out and the cabin has been lovingly decorated to give you an incredible Estes Park/RMNP cabin experience. We want you to make wonderful memories here with your friends and loved ones. We know you have many options, and we thank you for considering our vintage cabin for your stay. Your next adventure awaits at the vintage Estes Park cabin! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Very nice place to stay for a small group, we enjoyed the authenticity of it very much. Comfortable couches with a nice warm fireplace! The cabin is as described, plenty of towels, blankets and bedding! As stated, the kitchen had plenty of dishes, silverware and cups of all sizes!

This is quite possibly the most well-appointed and cleanest vacation home we've ever stayed in. Kudos to the host. We are normally accustomed to some improvisation while cooking during a stay in a vacation home, but not this one. Didn't have to flip my steak with a kitchen fork or eat cereal out of a mixing bowl. It was also well-stocked with games and movies. Host is a great communicator. House was extremely clean. A lot of people claim you don't need AC in Estes, but in July that is most certainly false. The host has 2 window units installed during the peak of summer, which helps dramatically, especially if you like to sleep with cold temps. The location is easily walkable to downtown, although it is a bit of a climb on the way back if you're not in shape. It's also very convenient for access to national park thru either entrance. The only downsides were a) the house is over 100 years old and probably has small plumbing pipes - if someone uses hot water or is doing laundry while someone else is taking a shower, the person in the shower will see big temperature fluctuations; and b) it's an old neighborhood and houses are very close together. Would recommend host add privacy screens for the hot tub to block views of neighbor and the next-door cabin. We were a family of 4 and were very comfortable. 6 is doable using the futon in the living room, as long as you can manage 6 people with a single bathroom.

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin near downtown Estes Park! There was plenty of space to lounge and relax, and it was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The location was great—walking distance to town—but just a heads-up, the hill on the way back up is no joke (it got us the first time!). The hot tub was a great touch, though we only used it once due to the summer heat. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and felt like a perfect mountain retreat. Great hosts—we’d definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again!

This was a last minute trip so I was surprised this property was available. The cabin did not disappoint. Heather was extremely helpful and proactive with all communication from start to finish. The property was easy to find, in a quiet area but close in proximity to anything on your list including RMNP. Everything was clean, well stocked and there is plenty of space. Bonus points for the hot tub, W/D, board games, streaming, and AC. I would highly recommend this cabin for your visit. I will definitely be looking for availability when planning my next visit.

From booking to check out, we had a wonderful customer service experience with the host. Above and beyond expectations. Very Quick to respond and answer questions. The cabin is charming, well appointed and comfortable. We stayed over the holidays and the hosts even had it decorated for added ambiance. Fireplace was easy to use, hot tub was simple to operate and kitchen was stocked with cooking equipment. We were very comfortable during our stay. I’d highly recommend staying here if you are planning to be in the area. It’s a short drive to The Stanley, RMNP, YMCA of the Rockies and even in walking distance of the restaurants and shops of downtown. But still in a quiet and safe area. Even in the snow the roads in the area were well taken care of so we didn’t have to worry about driving in icy conditions. We did see a pack of Elks in the neighborhood and a bunny that was too quick to get photos of on multiple mornings. Maybe next trip we will see more wildlife at the cabin.
