Deer Run Unit #8 on Big St Germain Lake

We found the property to not be as clean as advertised. Also, this is a property where you are on top of your neighbors.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this cabin is excellent. We've stayed at this resort before and were disappointed by the quality of kitchen amenities in Unit #8. Everything seemed to have a film on it and needed to be washed prior to using. The cooking utensils had seen better days & were lacking in quality. I would recommend the property, not this particular unit.

It was cute cozy cabin! My husband I were celebrating are anniversary. We arrived on a freezing cold snowy day. They plowed the walkway and had the heat on ready for us. Loved all the decor since we are pretty outdoorsy people!

Boat dockage didn't have boat protection bumpers, so be sure to bring your own if you bring your boat. Very nice overall.

If you are bringing a boat, you want to make sure you have some kind of rope to tie on the dock as there are no cleats on the docks. Also, you need to bring something to protect your boats when tied to the dock. The winds were high this week and we forgot our boat bumpers. We made some of our own but because the winds were so strong , our boat’s paint was damaged in 2 places. They need some kind of edging .

The location of the cabin was amazing! It was nice to be able to see right outside to the lake. The only things we did not like it when we got there we had no idea where the keypad was to get the key. By the front door, it wasn’t by the front door so we had to call the management company to figure out where it was. Second thing was we never did get the Wi-Fi password. We talked to our neighbors in unit number nine and they had said it was in the binder, but ours was not in the binder. Overall, though the cabin was just perfect for the two of us, and we really enjoyed our time there.
