Overall rating: Incredible & WOW! I am a very picky renter always looking for homes with comfortable seating arrangements inside & out (but mostly outside), quiet area to just hear wind through the trees & views. This home went beyond my expectations & will definitely be back again (many more times!). I never even sat in the living room, cooked on the gas stove in the kitchen or ate at the dining room table in the house-the entire stay! I lived in their awesome outdoor living room, cooked all meals (even breakfast) using the grill & enjoyed meals outside (main dining room area as well as smaller patio table on deck). I have NEVER found a home like this that fulfilled all my expectations. As you can tell I love the outdoors, but lets talk about inside. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, had all kitchen items you'd need & views. Also, complete silence! No cars driving by (less a few neighbors but never really heard anyone), stars at night, enjoyable hot tub after a day of hiking and as I have already raved about incredible outdoor areas & comfy seating everywhere you looked! Oh, bonus is the garage is a mini game room - loved spending family time playing Jenga, foosball, pool & ping pong! Another bonus if you have a dog is the decks are all gated along with the yard being fenced! Host if fantastic, getting back to me quickly, left a wonderful Mothers day gift for me & was able to be flexible offering me a Mothers day late checkout!

Fantastic hot tub and outdoor space with fireplace. Enjoyed bird watching and seeing elk. The place was very clean, cozy and well stocked with the basics. There were a lot of good restaurants and hiking nearby.

Great communication and guidelines from the host. House was clean and easy to access. I would stay here again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was clean and comfortable and we had such an enjoyable time as a family. The host thought of everything from binoculars for birdwatching to a massage chair to relax at the end of the day. 5 stars!

Good spot

It was a joy to stay at the cabin. My little dog was welcomed and even had water bowls. We loved the hot tub and outside patio. We even enjoyed the outside fireplace.

This was by far the nicest rental we have ever stayed at. Their attention to detail is top notch - they have thought of every single item you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Our top three favorite things about the property - the comfortable beds and bedrooms, the game room and hot tub! We will absolutely be back!

Home is beautiful, well stocked, has everything you could need and very warm and cozy. The beds are so comfortable, the shower had amazing pressure, and the massage chair was an added bonus! Nick and Terra were so responsive and welcoming. If we travel back to the area, we will definitely book with them again!

Nick is an excellent host! He’s very communicative and the house was perfect for our stay. It had plenty of fun activities (pool, foos ball, tetherball, fire places, etc), and was stocked with absolutely everything we needed. I’ve already suggested it to my friends!

This is our favorite place to get away from the valley and be in the pines. The home is warm, wonderful, with the absolute best gathering areas (think very “I’m in a hallmark movie” vibe with the adorable outdoor fireplace and dining areas) and the most comprehensive supplies I’ve ever encountered in any VRBO, anywhere. The owners are accessible, kind, and attentive when you have a question or a need. We were wanting to come a little early because it was going to be a big snowstorm the night of our arrival, and the owners were kind enough to allow us to come as soon as the cleaners were done preparing the home. We had our dogs with us and wanted to be all settled in before the snow came. Being desert dwellers, the idea of a ton of snow was exciting and a little intimidating! But the house had lanterns and a generator in case anything were to happen (it didn’t, the snow was moderate and by Sunday am most of it had melted). We have stayed here multiple times over the years and love this place more every time we stay. There is a magic about it and the owners have paid attention to every detail, which means you as a traveler don’t have to do anything but pull up with a suitcase. And then have the most relaxing time ever. Thank you Nick and Terra for the best escape to the Pines!!

The Dancing Bear Lodge is a beautiful, unique, most relaxing home that we have ever visited. From the outdoor lounging area, with a beautiful fireplace, hot tub, and view of the elk which roamed about a 100 feet within view, it was just perfect. We can’t wait to stay again. It felt very romantic for me and my wife. I highly recommend this home. Pine in a very unique, friendly place to visit.I recommend trying the pizza at old country Inn. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. I highly recommend the dancing bear in for your stay.

Cabin is everything you see in the pics and more! Sitting in the Jacuzzi at night looking at the eye popping stars was special. And, Nick was great about communicating. Thanks Nick!

Best place I think we’ve ever stayed! They had everything you could possibly want for a long weekend in the mountains. We came to watch the Super Bowl and celebrate a birthday and it was just the perfect place to stay for both. We used the hot tub every night! The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, lots of spots to relax and recharge. I’ll be recommending this lodge to everyone I know!

Had a great stay! Everything was very clean and the outside fire pit and patio was the highlight of the place. Very nice!

The home is cozy, and worked well for us. We were hoping for snow, but we can’t control the weather. Kitchen was well equipped, the mattress comfortable, and we saw some elk (I think!).

We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay. The cabin was decorated beautifully for the holidays and had everything needed for a comfortable 4 night stay. The hosts were very accommodating and couldn't have been nicer.

Everything was great!!! The kitchen was well supplied. All the Christmas decorations were great and made it feel homey. The backyard is perfect for pets, our dog spent a lot of time exploring, she actually wanted to hang out on the wraparound deck. The outdoor patio was great, even though it was December we were able to close the curtains and keep the heat in. We rent up in Pine almost monthly and this was by far the best place we've stayed at. We all felt Nick should write a book on how to be a host, everything was that perfect.

Host was very welcoming! We had a wonderful time and will look forward to our next stay... The cabin is stunning! Only recommendation - propane for the fire pit / heaters etc. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The cabin was very clean, and the bathrooms looked recently updated. Nick, the host, provided excellent communication. Location was perfect, only 15 minutes from the Tonto Natural Bridge and 45 minutes from Woods Canyon Lake. We'll definitely come back.

Beautiful cabin with an open layout and outdoor living space. The wood fireplaces were enjoyable and made the home cozy. All was clean and well maintained. I was very pleased with this home and the hosts! Highly recommend!

Great Cabin experience.First time VRBO and it was amazing.The grandkids loved the games in the garage and playing out back in the trees.

This was our second stay at Dancing Bear Lodge. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. The fenced in back area is perfect for our dogs. Lots of area for them to run and play. Our host Nick was very responsive to any needs. The outdoor covered area is amazing. You can relax, watch tv or just enjoy the relaxing scenery. There is also a game area in the garage which includes a pool table and other games. My family stayed for 1 night during our stay and were so impressed they said they will definitely be coming back. Can’t say enough about this property. If visiting Pine you will not be disappointed staying at Dancing Bear Lodge. We were lucky enough to have elk visit us and spend hours eating from the trees in the back.

My family and I had a great time. Everything needed for the stay was in the cabin with plenty of stuff to do. Thank you for everything. We’ll be back.

It was enjoyable, it was everything as described plus some. It was very clean, kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms had everything you needed the water was immediately hot when you took a shower, beds were comfortable, the views were beautiful, the birds all arrived humming, bluejays, orioales, stellar jays, the squirrels, and the elk and deer, jacuzzi was the best ever. The dogs had a great time with the fenced in area.We have stayed at many VRBO's and this was the BEST!

Home was stunning. Fully stocked to easily support cooking and use the BBQ. Outdoor area perfect for lounging and the hot tub was great. The garage game room was a bonus. Beds very comfortable too!

This house is breathtaking, the hot tub was perfect. The views are great. You can get cozy on the very comfy couch and enjoy the views from the many windows. They are very accommodating. We want to visit again soon!

It is a beautiful property. Has an amazing hangout patio with heaters, fireplace and a game room with plenty to do in the garage. The hot tub was very relaxing and the kids loved it. The upstairs loft had an amazing bathroom with a large bathtub and shower with views of the night skywith

We had the best time at this beautiful cabin. It was super clean, very well appointed, and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend to get away. My kids enjoyed playing pool and foosball. I’m not typically a hot tub person, but we enjoyed it both nights when we were there. Beds are extremely comfortable. My favorite part was the outdoor living area with fireplace. I cannot wait to go back!

Over all an amazing experience. From check in to check out it was perfect. The house was so cozy and welcoming it felt like home. Hard to leave it. All the little personal touches were on point. The cabin was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed for the weekend. It was immaculate with tons of things to do from the hot tub, to playing pool, to just sitting at the fire. It’s in a great location close to all the restraints and shops in Pine as well as nearby hiking trails. I would highly recommend and will stay there again in the future.

The house is amazing, interesting arcitecture, comfy beds, great showers, the view is incredible, quiet neighborhood and the hot tub was so fun! Would highly recommend and we will also go back! Hosts checked in with us and everything was easy and relaxing.

Nick & Terra have done a wonderful job making every inch of this home a Bear Cabin rustic but you have every amenity you could want to just enjoy and relax whether it be outdoor living room, hot tub or the game room...plenty of things to do without ever leaving the cabin. Truly enjoyed our stay!
