Custom home in St Mary’s Glacier

The grandkids could slide down the driveway without fear of being hurt. They had a ball! They loved having their own room and a big play area. The house was very clean.

Beautiful property right on a stream with a small waterfall. Great sitting area right next to the stream with a fire pit. The house is amazing and the host was great.

Kids and wife love the place only thing the beds and we didn’t have the badges so lost a half day of fishing.

Very nicely furnished cabin. The kitchen was well stocked. Very pretty area! Our host was great with communications and check-in and out were very easy.

We had a great time at this gorgeous home in St. Mary's Glacier. The home is completely renovated. Pictures describe the location 100%. The owners were very responsive and provided many amenities for me and my family. Overall, great experience and great location. The home is right next to a creek which our daughter visited every day of our stay. Hopefully, we will be back. I highly recommend this home. Thank you!

Beautiful, spacious well-maintained home. It snowed when we were there and you really do need an AWD vehicle. We did, and had no trouble with the steep, winding access road.

This home was more than we expected. Well stocked and even decorated for Christmas. We appreciated every effort they made to make our stay comfortable!!

Our stay was during a very large wind storm and the power company shut off power to the area. The host did an excellent job of communicating with us about the situation and worked with us when we had to make modifications to our stay.We have stayed at this cabin before, it is very comfortable and in a beautiful location.

This was our 5th stay at this property and as usual it did not disappoint. The location is amazing as well as the amenities. We got some Colorado snow on our last night(at least 8”). The owners are great, responsive to all needs and very respectful of privacy. Will definitely plan another trip here soon.

Very comfortable beds and love how dark the rooms can be. Quiet & tidy property with a pleasant stream nearby that allows you to feel you’re away from the everyday rush. This property had pleasant and quality amenities if needed (IE- Games, books, Wi-Fi, Netflix, Dish Network along with well-stocked kitchen spices and refrigerator, basic toiletries if needed, washer and dryer.) We so appreciated the ability to have some quality family time in this space. Definitely promotes the change of attitude with the change of altitude!

Amazing property and awesome host. Tom was always in communication when needed. Due to the bears and the season he came by to grab our garbage when we needed. We had car issues and placed an order thru Amazon and they delivered it to the local post office. He Otto pick it up for us. We were able to check in early when we arrived. It was everything the listing states and then some!!! We were blessed with a moose outside the window, and mule deer. We will be back again

This place is amazing! It's very quiet and private! Lovely grounds to explore! Very clean. Probably the best amenities I've seen in a VRBO! Short drive on up the hill for a beautiful lake! It's kinda out there a ways but a perfect home base to explore so many beautiful areas! John was very kind! We had an early flight into Denver and he allowed us to check in earlier in the day! You won't be disappointed! Great outdoor space too! 10,000 ft up did it make hard for this 58 yr old to climb the steps but it was worth it!

This property is beautiful and peaceful! Its so very close to St. Marys Glacier, and there is a coffee stand across the road. Its very spacious, clean, and a creek is right behind the house. I cannot reccomend this rental enough!

Check in was super easy, the house is beautiful, the kitchen was stocked well, though we didn't use any of it the host had supplied just about anything you might have forgotten to pack! The stream flowing outside was a highlight, it was very peaceful! We would highly recommend this place and we will be keeping it in mind for any of our future trips!

The house was great and just as advertised! The previous guests had left quite a bit of unopened food and various non perishable items and condiments, of which we were greatly appreciative! The first night was excessively warm but once we discovered the previous guests had left the heater on we remedied it and were much more comfortable.

Annual family vacation and we had a great time. Location was.perfrct.foe.hoking. fishing and sight seeing. The 2 fishing badges were a plus as the kids enjoyed fishing.

The place was great! We all agreed that we would stay again if the occasion arises. I had messaged the property about rafting and fishing, but never heard back from them. They did have recommendations in the book. I don’t know how far in advanced you need to book. The only other thing that was a little weird was that there were linens left in the dryer, and they weren’t dry.

The place was like something out of a Thomas Kinkade picture, surrounded by trees with a gorgeous creek in the back soothing any worries with its sound (picture provided). Inside was nicely decorated with plenty of entertainment for the stormy times. Kitchen has ample cooking utensils and plateware for a family of 6. The beds were comfy and warm offering very restful sleep. The suprises inside were the cooking ingredients already stocked in the pantry, bathroom/laundry room necessities, and the 3 fishing poles (with licenses) for some fun times out on the lakes. I only had to purchase the lures, weights, and connections from the local shops which I have left for the next visitor adhering to the place's motto of Take what you need, leave what you don't. We even had several humming bird visits you could see right outside the dinning room. Great stay, would visit again!

This was a beautiful cozy home; perfect for our getaway. Nestled up in the mountains surrounded by all of Mother Natures beautiful wonders. The house was spectacular and fully stocked as described. This was so helpful so that we didn’t have to purchase all the things and could actually enjoy the home without having to worry about forgetting things. The owners were very pleasant and super responsive and helpful in providing recommendations upon my request. I hope we get the opportunity to go back as we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home!

We spent two weeks of sabbatical here and it was perfectly peaceful and serene. We felt at home immediately. We went sledding in the backyard and walked through the neighborhood. It was easy to get to town because the streets were well plowed. Tom had taken care all sorts of hospitality details anything we needed we had and more. By far one of our best rentals ever.

Very nice amenities and easy check in and check out process. Will rent again if we come back to ski!

The beauty of the area is beyond words. Really enjoyed the hike at St. Mary’s Glacier. The home was just as pictured, comfortable and fully stocked.

This lovely house was a great choice for our stay. Comfortable living and bedroom furniture and a well stocked kitchen made us feel at home. The house is an easy walk to St. Mary’s Glacier trailhead, so need to worry about paying for parking at the trailhead. We saw mule deer in the yard and a moose family on the St. Mary's Glacier trail. When we weren't hiking with our dog (lots of trails within an easy drive), we really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the warm afternoon sun, listening to the rushing water of the creek. Idaho Springs, with a grocery store and several shops and restaurants is a 15 minute drive away. We truly enjoyed our fall getaway.

I have stayed at many rental properties in my time. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to accommodations, I like nice things. This place was amazing!!!! The home had everything you would need, it was tasteful decorated with a very comfortable sofa and amazing kitchen. We had a blast making a campfire and listening to the roaring creek! So peaceful and relaxing. We had fun going into Georgetown and Idaho Springs to shop and dine. You will not go wrong picking this place! Beds were comfortable and we didn’t want to leave! Thanks for hosting us at your amazing property, we will be back!! Last tip, get all of your groceries before heading in!

We had a great weekend at the property with easy access to Idaho Springs and Loveland Ski Area. The house was beautiful and cozy and we really enjoyed our time there.

We’ve always wanted to stay close to a running stream that we could sit by and enjoy the beautiful sound and sights of Colorado….this is the place! Our 3 year old grandson learned how to fish at the nearby lake surrounded by mountains and we even saw a moose bathing in the lake! We will definitely be bringing our family here again!

Plenty of room for four adults with a nice deck and nice stream nearby. Great spot for hiking in or near St. Mary’s glacier.
