Creek side log cabin in the woods.

Had a lovely stay there celebrating my grandfather‘s 94th birthday what a beautiful peaceful cabin to do that in thank you for the wonderful experience.

The property was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay. It was a very peaceful stay.... just why you come to the mountains! The property owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We were in town for a wedding at Flat Mountain Farms. From the house, we could actually walk to the venue! It is a short distance (less than 10 minutes) to the downtown part of Highlands also. The location was both peaceful and convenient! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful and cozy home tucked away in the woods within 5 minutes drive of Highlands. It was outfitted with every possible convenience including a well appointed kitchen, and a living room fireplace with lots of firewood. The host was immediatey responsive by email and text after the passage of a major storm. She was able to quicky send someone to clear the driveway of fallen debris. This is perfect for a family or group of friends visiting Highlands!

This place was a beautiful retreat and Lynn was very helpful and responsive. We would love to stay here again!

This cabin is lovely! If you’re looking for a getaway in the Highlands that’s convenient to town but feels like home, this is for you! The cabin is very cute - well decorated, lovely setting near a creek surrounded by beautiful plants, good amount of space and comfortable beds with nice bedding. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. There are plenty of fans and you can open windows so no air conditioning is not an issue. The house is not in town but a quick drive. There’s ample parking. We greatly enjoyed feeding the birds, playing board games and sitting out on the deck to enjoy the sounds of nearby creek. We attended a wedding at Flat Mountain Farm and this cabin could not have been more convenient!

Four generations of our family enjoyed this lovely property for the 4th. My 4 year old grandson was in Heaven. We all enjoyed the outdoor space. It was convenient to town but tucked away and private. The kitchen was perfect to prepare family meals and plenty of seating. We enjoyed feeding the birds while having our coffee every morning. Definitely one of our favorite properties.

Fabulous

This is a wonderful home. Close to Highlands center but just far away enough to feel remote. Big lot on a small quiet road with only 4 or so houses on the road. I've owned a home in Highlands in the past and I felt right at home in this comfortable and well decorated space. Nice outdoor living spaces, front porch and back deck. There were 4 of us, so the the 3 full baths really made a difference. The owner was very friendly and responded to our questions immediately. Will definitely book this one again!!!!

We had a family wedding at Flat Mountain Farm which is an incredible venue. This property is adjacent, so the location was perfect. This home is so beautiful and tranquil. Beautiful accommodations. Can't say enough how thankful we were to find this place. Definitely 5 star
