Cozy streamfront cabin nestled in the pines

Cabin was very clean and the amenities were very useful. Could always hear the River while eating breakfast out on the patio:)

It was a very cozy and calm place with many bells and whistles to cover more than what we needed. Really nice location and enjoyable stay.

What a great vacation getaway! It was comfortable, well equipped and the owners made sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t need to bring anything. We enjoyed quiet evenings and mornings outdoors. If you are looking for a peaceful time away, this is the place.

I absolutely love this cabin. It is rustic, quiet, and calm. Every time I visit, I feel myself reset, and am so much calmer leaving. The host is excellent and quick to respond. The creek is so close and most of the time you can hear it from the porch. I will be back. Amazing get-away.

This cabin was so perfect for the cozy and relaxing time I had hoped for! I spent most of my time on the back porch with coffee or wine, just enjoying nature and listening to the sound of the babbling brook in the background. I will definitely be back!

The fireplace was easy to use and quickly warmed the home. We had everything we needed in the kitchen as well as extra bedding and blankets for cozying up on the couch.

My wife happens to be born on Valentines Day, so this was a double special occasion for us. We live in the city, but i am from up north in the rural area and we both needed a get away. We brought our baby boy with us and we couldn't be more pleased unless we could've gotten a little snow The cabin is a lovely little country away, the checkin instructions were easy to follow and we would love to go back together when we can get a sitter for the baby. We played games, made meals together and watched the Bluejays from the porch with our coffee. If you want a little, quaint getaway, this is a great choice and priced perfectly.

Gabe was very friendly & willing to help if needed. The cabin was cute & small perfect for our family of 3. It was well stocked with anything we needed if we needed it, & it was extremely clean. Overall it was a pleasant experience & I would definitely stay at his cabin again!

Cabin is beautiful had all the things qe needed to feel at home. The pellet stove was a life savour. Beautifully decorated. We came to Arizona to hike and rockhound.Amazing trails near by. Feedback*Needs a new bed, or option for a matress pad. First night k had to sleep on the sofa because my hips hurt so bad. We used the matress under the bed so we could sleep next to each other. * extra light upstairs in the living room section would help alot. Its very dark upstairs even with big over head light on in living room. Overall, id recommend this place ! Id stay again. Lots of extras

This is an INCREDIBLE property. The backyard and riverbank is full of wonder and kept us busy for hours and hours. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous and full of spots to hike or take in the beautiful views. The cabin itself is good, it’s very cabin-esque and that was just fine with us. This is our second time back and I can’t wait to go again!

Both a rustic and modern cabin. Gorgeous ceiling and siding of tongue-and-groove pine, yet well insulated. Lots of comfortable seating areas inside and outside. Working WiFi. Birds and squirrels are fun to watch from the covered back porch. On the way there from Payson, we saw open range cattle and 3 elk. Clean place. Outstanding owner communication. Very private, yet seems like acres of outdoor space next to a stream. Fully outfitted kitchen is family-friendly. Cards and games and magazines to occupy everyone. Plan on staying multiple days and multiple times — we will and we have. A rating.

Loved the cabin, it was a bit dusty in places but overall lovely! Everything you need to prepare meals! Was in a pretty setting although close to neighbors it was private because of landscape! Quiet and serene.

The cabin itself is a cute layout, the issue is a musty smell when you walk in. From there it just seemed to have gotten a little worse, the closet upstairs has a stale urine odor as well as in the bathroom. It's very outdated which is fine other than the carpet in the bathroom. When we went to bed there were children's underwear made into the bed. The blinds in the bathroom were very dusty and the bath mat in the shower has mold. The driveway is also meant for smaller compact vehicles. Unfortunately we drive bigger vehicles (lifted trucks) and in order for us to get in and out we had to go into the neighbors property just to be able to turn around to get out. The scenery was beautiful, the porch on the back deck was perfect for a quiet morning. I think this cabin has great potential if cleaning was done a bit better and maybe some updates to at least the flooring due to the waxy feeling on the carpet.

Very nice cabin. Wish the bathroom and TV were downstairs. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Very cozy and the real wood detail inside of the home is Type-A. Great get away for peace of mind. Will reserve again.

Much needed short vacation! Cabin got everything we needed. Only disappointment was the stream - lacking water due to summer and not much rain this season. We always stay near the East Verde river at other locations either during fall or early part of the year so we'll plan it better next time.

We love this place and would stay here any chance we get in the future! So perfect for 2 people to get away!

Great place to soak in the scenery around you, catch some Rest and Relaxation, and find outdoor adventures to make family fun memories for sure!

This is a rustic log cabin in a very wooded area. Perfect for relaxing and getting off the grid. Internet was available as well as Netflix. However, don’t plan on getting any cell reception.

This was a wonderful getaway! Exactly as described! We will return!

We had a great weekend at this property! The house was comfortable and the setting was beautiful. We saw tons of cows and even elk in the yard, eating blackberries right off the tree! Such a cool experience. The stream out back was peaceful and added to the relaxing vibe. If you’re looking to unwind and enjoy nature, this is the perfect spot.

I have stayed at the Blackberry Cabin multiple times and it’s always the first listing I check when it’s time for another trip up north. Small, cozy cabin at the end of a private drive, neighbor close by but don’t really notice. Everything you could possibly need (kitchen, bathroom items, etc.) is provided, right down to a little welcome basket. Gabriel definitely knows how to run a rental and make you feel at home. Lots of room to hike and explore right on the property or short drive away. For less active people, the view from the deck is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Would love to stay for a month if I could. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful cabin with others.

My wife and I went up to Whispering Pines for a retreat from the heat and the stress of parenthood for a weekend. This property was the perfect spot to slow down, and take in the nature around you!

Such a peaceful, beautiful, relaxing place. Not the first time we've been there and definitely won't be the last. Like a little piece of heaven in the pines.

Lovely little cabin surrounded in natural landscape (not overly manicured) which ads some additional character and privacy. Easy access to river and beautiful scenery. But you don’t even have to leave the yard to feel surunded in nature.

This is the cozy, tucked away cabin we were hoping for. So easy to get to all the nature and sights, including Tonto Bridge. All the amenities you need and the property is so beautiful you might not even want to venture out.

We had a fantastic time in this cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for. The river was a little on the low side with how dry this season has been. It was still great walking around and exploring. The owner was super responsive and answered any questions right away. Highly recommend

We spent a few days to get away from the world and this place was perfect for it. Very little hassle and the property manager was very generous and hospitable!

Quaint and comfortable. Could use dust and dirt removal at the windows and some deep cleaning.

This property and the cabin are amazing. Surrounded by woods, its very private even though there are neighbors. This cozy litte place has everything you need. Its perfect for a couples getaway, or to spend time with your family. Close to several hiking trails, water wheel is a must. Super clean, easy to get to, checking in and out is a breeze. We will definitely be back.

Overall we had a nice stay. The little notes throughout the cabin were great! It was very dusty throughout the cabin.

The cabin setting and amenities are perfect for a peaceful getaway from everyday life. The host is very gracious.

We were extremely happy with everything. The property and cabin exceeded our expectations. When I did have an issue, the host was very apologetic and rectified it immediately which was great. The only thing that was not completely stellar was the path down to the creek, it could use some revamping so people can make it down easily.

This was a get away for my husband’s Birthday! I was so impressed that everything I needed to make Thanksgiving dinner was there or something that would work…just bring the food! The little fireplace in the living room was so nice. It was so relaxing & just what we needed! Bonus..there were Elk down by the river…how exciting. Fabulous stay & my husband is talking about going back.

Beautiful scenery, lush green, river, cows, deer, chirping. Searched for an A-Frame Cabin in a secluded area. We were so impressed with area. The cabin is very nice, clean, and the Host, Gabe, we could not ask for more. Open windows, sit outside, and you hear the water flowing! So relaxing! Thank you, Gabe!
