Cozy, Secluded, Year-Round Cabin: With A Hot Tub!

Excellent rental. Property was clean and fully furnished. Coffee pot and all. Beds were comfortable and heating worked wondefully. The interior is even more inviting than the photos. Hot tub alone makes it a great deal. On the negative aspects the firewood is not included, but still readily available at 5$ a bundle. Each bundle is good for about 2 hours of easy burning, decent price. Communication was also a bit touch and go. In fairness the fault might be my own. I would say this property is a perfect getaway for a couple or small family. Considering the atmosphere in and outside the cabin, the scenery, and the amenities the price is a steal for such a wonderful experience.

We were so excited when we pulled up to the cabin. It was secluded and inviting. However, when we got out of the car were greeted by a bazillion aggressive mosquitoes! We had to hurry to get the car unpacked so we didn't get bit up! It would have been nice to be forewarned about that. We couldn't bonfire or use the hot tub much because of the mosquitoes; which was one of the main draws to this particular cabin. The cabin was beautiful and fully stocked with all that we needed. The beds were very comfortable except for the flat pillows. However, we didn't sleep very well anyway because the air conditioner didn't work at all. For the price we paid to stay to be comfortable just to be miserable trying to sleep in the heat was extremely unpleasant. I don't think any of us got but 8 hours of sleep total in 2 nights so we weren't in top shape for our 10 mile hike or the 8 hour car ride home.

This was the perfect, cozy, cabin remote enough to feel as if you are on vacation, but still close to all the necessities. Comes equipped with everything you may need for a comfortable stay. Peaceful and quite. Safe and secure. Will definitely be returning!

Did not use hot tub…but the pictures truly show the property. A long ways back in the woods but worth it.

Our stay was disappointing to say the least. The hosts will make excuses and claims, but please only rent this property if you have a 4-wheel-drive vehicle, and DO NOT trust their claim that it is a 20-minute drive to Picture Rocks. Also, the Hot tub was broken, and though the host did have someone come out to look at the hot tub so we could use it twice during our stay, it still had a leak, and reading previous reviews, it sounds like the hot tub has been an issue for previous guests. To the host's credit, they did offer a refund, but when they asked us what we thought was fair and we cited multiple concerns, instead of humility and accountability, they attempted to argue with us and justify a lower refund. We accepted their refund amount, which was somewhat fair. But given the rough road, we could only leave the property once during our stay, and with the weather being a factor, the drive was one of the most terrifying drives of our lives. The road did severely limiting our trip's goals. The host will claim they gave us a warning about the road, which they did, but they also gave us updates that it was okay for travel with only a few ruts. This was a severe delay, and the road was multiple miles long, which was not disclosed. Other downsides: a bathtub without a stopper (so no bathtub), dirty dishes upon arrival, a sink with a constant drip unless you placed the handle just right, the large right burner on the stove did not work, and no salt & pepper.

The cabin was clean and exactly as advertised. We had a great trip! Communication with the host was not great. I sent a message a couple days before our stay and never heard back from them but we didn’t need anything super important, so it didn’t affect our trip at all.

The property is beautiful - wonderful forest, quiet. The cabin is very attractive and comfy. The lighting is slightly dim. A great place to rejuvenate and use as a home base to explore the Pictured Rocks National Park.

Overall a nice place to stay. Clean and had all the essentials. Wish we would have known before booking that there was a 15 min drive on gravel roads any way you came. Also we were there in August and it was a hot stretch - we struggled to cool down the house even at night for sleeping.

Beautiful, clean, and nicely decorated cabin. The hot tub was clean and well thought out. I loved the twinkle lights on the cabin and hot tub gazebo. They gave great ambience! I highly recommend this cabin and will stay again the next time we visit the U.P.

This cabin provided us with a great, quiet escape that was a short drive to town. It was clean and spacious with everything we needed for a great stay.

Good quite place to relax.

My fiance and I stayed 3 nights and loved every minute of it! The property is so picturesque, we want to buy it from the owners and live here full time! Wonderful experience and the host was super responsive. We will be back soon!!

The stay was great. Beautiful home in very remote setting. We had a slight issue with wifi and host was extremely responsive getting issue fixed right away. Visited local waterfalls and pictured rocks. Munising 4th of July

This cabin was perfect, especially if you are looking for peace and quiet. The cabin was clean and cozy. We enjoyed having s’mores by the campfire and the hot tub. The grandbabies were able to sleep well with no noise, like you would have at a hotel. We even saw 2 snow shoe rabbits in the morning. It is about 25 minutes from all the waterfalls and town, but worth the drive for the quiet. We would all stay here again!

We absolutely loved this cabin. It’s cozy, clean, and adorable. It was well stocked and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend of hiking. The fireplace and hot tub were added benefits. We definitely spent several hours in the hot tub. The Christmas lights were super cute too. The host was very responsive as well.

The cabin was BEAUTIFUL and had everything that we needed plus more! It was a cold, stormy weekend that we stayed up there but the cozy cabin and fun hot tub made it perfect to just barricade up in and enjoy our time together. Hillary was absolutely amazing to work with! We definitely want to come back.

Beautiful, cozy cabin. Even more beautiful than it looks in the pictures. My friends and I enjoyed a board games weekend here and it was everything we wanted. Hillary is a fantastic host! Even with four feet of snow on the ground we had no trouble getting to the cabin. Highly recommend this spot as a winter destination. We’ll certainly be returning!

This is our second time back and we had another great stay. Clean and great communication. Will note that a few general maintenance things around the cabin could use some TLC (overhead light in microwave was burned out and trashcan lid is missing/broken). All together a good cabin. Would stay again.

My husband and another couple enjoyed the private atmosphere, hot tub, and woodwork. The fireplace worked great the first day (once we figured out how to turn it on), but the glass filled up with soot & the fumes were bothersome the next day so we stopped using it. It was nice to have a large fridge/freezer in the kitchen, but no hot pads for cooking/baking. The ceiling fans were extremely dusty, as well as around the beds. The bathroom sink & toilet were also fairly dirty. We noticed there weren't any comforts (blankets, etc.), just the basics. We concluded it was mostly rented by men - probably snowmobilers. All-in-all, we had a good stay and plan to book a different cabin from the same owners next year.

We planned a two night stay at the cabin. We were immediately drawn in by the cozy cabin vibe & hot tub with twinkle lights! We got in late and it was snowing, (so quaint) and we wanted to hop in the hot tub. It was musty & slimy which wasn’t enjoyable so we got out. I messaged the owner the next day & they were able to come out & fix it. We enjoyed it much more the second night. Bring your own salt/pepper & shampoo/conditioner/body wash. We wrongly expected this stuff to be there but it was not.

This cozy, secluded cabin was the perfect place to relax for a couple days after backpacking Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore! Clean and comfortable, with a well-appointed kitchen and a lot of super cute cabin decor. We loved our time spent reading, playing games, cooking, and relaxing in the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Fall was the perfect season to enjoy the surrounding sites. Will come back again.

Spent 5 days in this cabin which had all the amenities! Great location for waterfall hunting and close to Munising!

This is the perfect place to stay to get unplugged and back to nature. It is quiet and allows for biking, hiking and hot tubbing afterward right outside your door.

Such a beautiful cabin in such a BEAUTIFUL location. We are in love with that area and currently shopping for property of our own. Cabin had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at this beautiful cabin. Everything we needed was provided. We came up to do some hiking and see the sights. The only down fall is it is quite far from anything. I should have paid more attention when booking of the exact location. The hot tub was so nice after a long day

Our group stayed at the cabin while we explored Pictured Rocks and other sights in the area. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and we'll stocked. I'm so glad we found this place!
