Cozy Log Cabin on Fall River

I can’t speak highly enough! The cabin was amazing! From comfort to incredible views! Our host was pleasant and easily accessible. We had a wonderful & memorable time :) we will definitely be back!

This cabin is one of the most inviting and enjoyable places we have stayed in a very long time. It was inviting and warm with beautiful furnishings and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The river frontage is wonderful and we had two bull elk in the yard.

We were so pleased with our cabin. Clean, updated, fully functional kitchen and right on the river. Nothing was oversold on the description. Host was very welcoming and checked in. We plan on going back.

My husband and I love this cabin. This was our second stay here and it is such a warm cozy cabin with all the amenities you need.

Cabin was very nice and had everything went needed. Fire place was great with the cool weather. Was our 3rd time staying in the cabin.

The cabin is very cosy we really enjoyed staying here, waking up and drinking coffee by the river was just wonderful. The cabin worked really well for our family with young kids. Close to RMNP and Estes Park the location was great.

Absolutely loved our stay here! So comfortable and private. Everything was clean and the cabin was well stocked with whatever you might need. We enjoyed listening to the babbling water and feeling the cool mountain air come through the windows while sleeping at night. Bonus was the elk and turkeys wandering around the cabin!!

This was a perfect cabin for my family. It's a true log cabin, but also felt so clean and nice, not as rustic as some. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and check-in was so easy. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again in the future.

Clean! This is truly a five star cabin. Everything worked as it should which is unusual nowadays. Great location. Far enough from town but in reach for groceries. The walking path in to town was a nice bonus!

The hosts are exceptional and this cabin is our favorite place in Estes Park!

cabin was in a perfect spot right on the river, only a few minutes to town and to the park. We loved being able to walk out on the deck and see the river and hear it from inside the cabin. The cabin was stocked with everything you would need while there - just like home!!! We would stay there again next time we are in Estes Park!!!

This was our second summer at the Cozy Log Cabin. Bob and Carole are great hosts and the space is perfect for our family of five. We would set out on various adventures each day and then come back to grill out and just enjoy the evenings at the cabin. This is our family’s favorite place to vacation and we look forward to getting back again soon.

Absolutely incredible vacation experience. The cabin is cozy & roomy; perfect & welcoming. Nestled directly on a mountain stream in the Rocky Mountains area of Estes Park. Very well stocked & bed/furniture comfortable. My husband & I spent the majority of time by the stream & on the deck, when not exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. Amazing area. Our host was wonderful; fantastic communication. We hope to return again soon.

This cabin is perfect for my husband and I. We look forward to our annual stay. The owners are amazing with respect to their responsiveness, care for the cabin and annual updates to the cabin. We are regular customers and appreciate the updates. The location to town, to RMNP, wildlife and river are unmatched. Love this cabin.

We just loved the swing by the stream in the back! The location is very close to the national park and Estes. It was very clean and actually sleeps more than the listing (the bunk bed is two full size beds, not twin). the kids were excited to see a full size bunk bed for the first time. The fireplace was nice for the cold nights. We had elk eating grass in the yard one of the mornings!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family. Our kids loved being so close to the river, the space upstairs and the elk that came right up to the front door. I had so many people ask about this listing when I posted, I made sure to share!

This cabin has it all! From the second we walked in and saw the beautiful Christmas tree they set up I knew it was going to be a wonderful stay. We spent our days sitting by the creek on the swing, watching movies in front of the fireplace, and cooking a full Thanksgiving dinner in the wonderful kitchen. We saw elk, turkey, and deer too. We have already booked this cabin again for next fall!

Was overall wonderful stay. From the turkey flock that greeted us to solitude away from the bustle down the street in Estes. However convenient to be so close. Quiet, peaceful beauty. Loved the kitchen - huge island. Appreciated the good pots/pans as I cook most meals. Even though was warm enough without fireplace, used it one evening for a bit. The best, easy to use we have experienced and quickly warmed cabin. Was wonderful sitting under a canopy of an aspen on the deck to dine. Great bedroom - can crack window to hear water. Comfortable mattress. We were very fortunate as no one in cabin next to us so was wonderful solitude. Loved being so close to entrance to park. Just watch those very steep stairs for upper bedroom - but didn't bother us as only the two of us.

The cabin was perfect for my family! The location to downtown and RMNP couldn’t have been any more perfect. The cabin was clean and had more than everything we needed. The babbling stream was relaxing and it was a bonus to see a huge elk grazing and wild turkey.

This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin… everything about it is great from the decor to location. The back deck has a spacious table and view of babbling creek. This year, elk and turkey were frequent visitors.

This was our second trip to Estes Park and the second time we stayed in this cabin. It is very nice and supplied with everything you would need. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watched the river flow by. It is just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park which makes it very easy to get to. We have already booked it for a week next year in October.

Sorry - this review is far overdue, since I visited during this past Winter! :0 I can't say enough fabulous things about this cabin. I've stayed here twice and booked my third stay as soon as I got home from my second one. The cabin is gorgeous and quiet and overlooks the river, and is all the things someone (like me, at least) could want from an Estes cabin. But I have to specifically rave about the hosts. They are, hands down, the best VRBO hosts I've ever stayed with. They were super responsive to all my messages, and when I realized a remote had dead batteries, they were there in less than 30 minutes with fresh ones! I had a terrible time tearing myself away from the place and ended up extending my stay three days. I couldn't extend it myself on the app, so the hosts got back to me right away about my request and took care of it on their end. As I mentioned in a previous review, it's the little details that keep me coming back to this place year after year - every kitchen utensil you could need, high-end touches like the cookware and super comfy mattress, and so much more. But I especially adore how pooch-friendly the cabin is. When I first went inside, I immediately noticed a fantastic, huge dog bed (huge if you're a Chihuahua) right in front of the fireplace. My little girl immediate made herself to home and spent the vast majority of her time curled up right there. I absolutely adore this cabin and I'll keep coming back as long as Bob and Carol will have me!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and already booked a stay for next year. Owner’s were very responsive and even reached out to us to remind us of when we would need to make entry reservations for RMNP. The cabin was very cozy and had all the amenities to ensure that guests have a comfortable stay. Location is excellent given that it is only 5 minutes from the entrance to RMNP and to the town of Estes Park. We are already looking forward to our stay next year!

This was a much needed vacation for our family of 5 and Estes Park is the perfect place to entertain all ages and interests. This cabin was a cozy and comfortable place to start and end each day. We had wildlife right at our doorstep including wild turkeys, deer dancing in the grass and a bull elk just taking it easy. There was so much space for all of us to come together or find some peace and quiet. Our 17-year-old loved fly fishing each day in the river and our other two enjoyed dipping their toes in the water and sitting in the swing. This is a well-stocked property and Bob and Carole are quick to respond to any question. We are already making plans to come back and stay in this VRBO again, we loved it so much. The area offers much to do, RMNP, rafting, horseback riding, fishing, shopping and relaxing. And this cabin is a gem!

I named Book Now because we had to book a year in advance to get this place! This was a lovely stay! The house is super clean, fluffy white towels, crispy clean sheets, comfortable beds, many pillows (soft, firm) to pick from, comfortable den, local cable, streaming apps, library of DVDs to pick from, Kitchen very well stocked with appliances, beautiful dishes with table set when we arrived!, left over condiments, spices, gas grill on patio ready to grill, small gas coal centerpiece to enjoy when the night cools down outside, beautiful creek in the back you can hear from your window at night, fans for those who need them at night, freshly filled hummingbird feeder with ton of birds visiting while you sit on the back patio, and the list goes on! Location is prime right near town (grocery store) and near National Park entrance. Many trees surround the property so it feels very private and secluded. My son got his fishing license and enjoyed fly fishing for trout! If you migrate on the stream make sure you venture downstream to the left. There are plenty of fish and friendly neighbors that way :) Owners super super sweet and quick to respond to any inquiries. We were unfortunately there during the Colorado fires. The owners were in communication with us to make sure we were safe and well cared for. *Safety Note: Do not put anyone with mobility limitations upstairs. Stairs are cute but are steep with shallow treads. High slip/fall risk Would definitely go back!!!!!

Enjoyed a wonder stay at this beautiful cabin. The hosts were amazing and very responsive! We had two teenage boats, so each had their own room…which was fab. We enjoyed grilling and eating on the back deck, mornings on the swing by the river, and even a walk into town if you are up for the 2 mile journey! A lovely base camp for enjoying Estes park and RMNP!
