You get what you pay for. There are pros and cons to this place. Pros: The garden area was nice, the cabin was situated well. Cute design. Cons: Bed was HIGH, with no step stool or anything. The side table was almost 2 feet below the bed, making it impractical to use. Difficult to get in and out of. There were very few things provided for the “cooking area”. A soap dispenser that didn’t work, no kitchen towel, no utensils like spatulas, etc., extremely limited dishes and silverware. Bathroom was outside, 15-20 feet from the cabin. It had 2 walls completely open to the jungle. It was situated so it was private. However, getting up and walking out there at night in the rain was not pleasant. Outdoor lights had no controls, so if you wanted to turn off the string lights you couldn’t. It was fairly clean. Coffee filter had old coffee and mold. Water quality was questionable. Internet password was written in hand writing we couldn’t make out. We called the owner, and she provided it. But, it would be helpful if it was typed instead of hand written. It was way more rustic than I had expected. I didn’t mind driving out to it, but I was not prepared for the full on outdoor experience and lack of amenities.

This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host. The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. There is an outside table with umbrella and chairs. The stove and sink with utensils and crockery are on a prep surface outside of the bedroom. The bathroom is a separate facility with a toilet, sink with a mirror, and an open shower. Hot water is not an issue as there's a tankless water heater on the outside of the building. As a nearby diversion there is a disc golf course downthe road.We enjoyed our 4 nights. It was a real benefit to be able to have our 2 cats welcomed to stay with us.
