Cozy Cabin in Mentone - Incredible Views - Swimming Pool - Hot Tub

This cabin was amazing! Very clean and views were breathtaking!

Very open floor plan with numerous areas for separate but together entertainment. Great views and MAN those Sunsets by the Pool !!I could see Closets being an issue ... Not for me, but a large family/group might need more hanging space Love it and hope to stay again

This was so beautiful! I can’t wait to go back. The view was breathtaking and the house was perfect for my family.

Tub and pool were fine and the kitchen was okay. We had difficulty getting the dishwasher to work. The biggest issue was the staircase to go upstairs as well as the stairs going in and out of the house to the patio which was beautiful. Pool, hot tub, patio&view were lovely. However, the stairs!!, IMOthe staircase &steps at this place are downright dangerous. No handrails & steps are not the same height. The steps going to bedroom were so challenging i was often crawling up the steps on all fours. The open risers gave even more of a sense of insecurity. Reaching the top one of us fell backwards as there's nothing to easily hold on to. The downstairs bedroom was well appointed but one of the upstairs bedrooms had no lamp. None of the bathrooms had even any soap or towel bars or hooks for hanging wet towels or pajamas. When bathing, the clothes you took off and the clothes you were going to put on afterwards had to be laid in the floor as there was no place else to put them. The Jack and Jill bathroom had a shower but the shower had no safety bars or anything to hold on to. There were no bath mats & towels under small vanity were soured& had to be washed before using. The dryer took 3 hours to dry them. no toilet paper holder. There are definitely some nice features to this place but I would not want to go back. For the price it should have been more finished out properly.

Clean, convenient to Desoto state park, 1 mile to Mentone. Great views from large outdoor pool/hot tub & fire place sitting areas. Property as described in listing.

The hot tub and pool were just as expected. The views were gorgeous and we loved sitting by the fire and watching the sunset. The property is extremely close to downtown as well as to De Soto.

Hot tub did not work until call to host and it was the last day! No place to hang jackets, clothes, etc.Things were not exactly as stated in description!

Lisa was AWESOME! We had a blast! The cabin is even nicer than the pictures. Everything was as advertised or corrected very quickly! 100% recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in the area.

We had an awesome time!! The cabin was so nice, well stocked!! Beds were comfy!! Can’t wait to come back!! The host answered any questions and responded quickly when needed! The view was the BEST part!!!! And so close to everything! Thanks for a great stay!

We booked the cabin to unplug for good family time. The cabin was perfect! We loved the game tables and seclusion of the cabin. But a short drive and we enjoyed dinner in Chattanooga! Cabin was clean and the check-in process was a breeze! We will definitely be back!

She very quick to respond to any questions we had. She check on us to make sure everything was going well. Very helpful! Amazing view. Excellent spacious house. Very close to the little town and golf.

The view was amazing! And could be enjoyed from the inside as well as the outside due to the large windows.The outside fireplaces were enjoyed as much as weather permitted. However, it was cold and rained a couple of nights during our stay. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful. Weather only allowed us to use it once during our stay.There are great indoor activities. A pool table, indoor shuffleboard and a mini pool table and TV's. We were never looking for something to do. The owners have stocked the kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals for 6-8 people. Beds were comfortable.There was no closet available in the Master bedroom, so you should limit hangup clothes.Overall, we had a very nice Thanksgiving holiday.

We really enjoyed our short stay here! The views are incredible and the outdoor area (pool, spa, fireplaces) was exceptionally nice. The only strange part was the lack of a closet in the master bedroom. A clothes rack would have been helpful, but we definitely managed without it, given our short stay. Also, for larger groups, there's not a lot of dining space - only a small table with 4 chairs and the island with 2 barstools. We would absolutely stay here again!

For the price we paid I was thinking it was going to be like 5 star accommodations. Totally not the case. The view was difentliy 5 star but that's about all.

The property was in a great location and beautiful, The pool and hot tub were amazing.

This was my second time to stay here. We love the house and rent it because of the great view and for the pool and hot tub. It is hard to find anything like that with a pool. I do feel for the money we pay the place should be in mint condition. This trip when we arrived the pool had a lot of leaves in it, hot tub wasn’t on, the yard needed mowed, the grill igniter didn’t work so you couldn’t use the grill and no lighter or matches were to be found, The pool deck had busted floats torn pool noodles and things left laying around, and cobwebs everywhere. Very disappointing for the amount of money paid this go around.

This property is beautiful and very nice. The only thing I didn’t like is that the bed was to soft for me. I felt like I was sinking into the bed. The view is amazing! The swimming pool was very nice. The hot tub was not working so unfortunately we did not get to use it.

The was the best location for our girls trip. Every year we try to find a unique place, this year definitely was by far the best that we’ve stayed. Lisa has been great to help us with anything that we needed help with, the place was super clean, beautiful views. The pool was awesome. We just couldn’t ask for anything better. There are also several restaurants and gas stations within a 5 minute drive if you needed anything.

This cabin was amazing!!.The view was beautiful especially in the evening.Having a hot tub at a cabin is always great but also having a pool ,you couldn’t ask for anything better.Loved everything about this place from playing pool and shuffleboard to sitting outside during the evening rain.This is by far the best place we have booked .Looking forward to making this place a regular destination.

This was our first visit at this cabin. We visit Mentone 4 or 5 a year. By far, this is the most gorgeous and pleasant place we’ve ever visited... The house is decorated. The kitchen is furnished the pool and the hot tub is icing on the cake.

From booking to check in to check out was amazing!! This was a stay I would do o er and over!! If I could give it a 100 I would!!

This house has everything you need! Clean, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and furniture, lots of fun playing the games, and the outdoor space is amazing! The host is friendly, responsive, and on top of things. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Loved this cabin! It has the most magnificent views!! The cabin is exactly as the pics show on the listing. Beautifully decorated and very spacious. It is in a great location just minutes from Mentone Market and Desoto Falls. My favorite part is the large covered back porch that overlooks the valley. That is where my family and I spent most of our time. We were able to sit and watch a storm out over Fort Payne the first night and the most gorgeous sunset the next night. Breathtaking!!! We did have one issue with the hot tub not being warm when we arrived, but I called the host and it was quickly taken care of. This will be my go-to cabin to rent for my trips to Mentone in the future.

The house was clean and beautiful. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. But the view was absolutely stunning. The waterfalls in the area are a must see. We will definitely come back.

We loved our stay here. I can't imagine a better view anywhere and the sunsets were amazing. Great house and outdoor area. It was also very convenient to restaurants, etc. We had a great time!

Family and friends, a mixture of both, ages 39-76 shared a lovely weekend filled with laughter, food and fun. The location could not be better and the views are absolutely stunning. The patio and hot tub stole the show. Enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy! 10/10 would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful Cabin! Great location very close to town and the views and sunsets were just incredible. The cabin was clean and the hot tub was great for the cooler weather. Would definitely book this place again. The owner was very easy to communicate with too!

We had such a wonderful time at this wonderful home on the brow. The house is so comfortable and had everything we needed for meals in and nights watching the sunsets. Perfect location and would love to get back soon!
