Cozy cabin by the Big Thompson river - Close to Downtown and RMNP

One of the worst bed I've ever slept in.

Cabin is close to everything

Pros: designated parking, easy to follow instructions for access, close to town and RMNP. Cons: one television only viewable from side oriented futon, no access to firewood, no spare blankets.

I really liked the cabin and the location. I however did not like the 10am check out and the 10:02 am knock on my door telling me it's checkout time. There is a wood fireplace and i made sure to clean it out before leaving and was running a but behind in getting ready. I was out the door at 10:10 am. I didn't finish my clean up or throw my trash out as inwas already being pushed out the door. If you stay here, make sure you leave BEFORE the already early check out!

It was an incredible experience. The cabin is super clean and organized, the information is clear and useful. I recommend it and intend to return for another season.

The cabin had everything we would’ve needed! It was great to have laundry inside as well. Plenty of extra linens/blankets available. The whole cabin felt super clean and cared for. And being right on the river is hard to beat! The host reached out with information a week prior to our stay so we had their contact info from the start. All information provided was very clear and concise so we never actually did need to reach out about anything!

The cabin was just as it was advertised. It was a very clean, nice stay. With the big thompson river just down the way. It was close to shops and restaurants. We will be back.

Property was extremely clean and well kept, and located in a beautiful area. Big Thompson River and even saw a large herd of elk grazing in the backyard of the cabin next door one morning! Super easy access to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We very much enjoyed our stay here and will consider it for future stays down the road! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!

The cabin met our needs and the location was perfect for us. Would have preferred a larger bed but we made do with what we had. It was a fun long weekend!

We loved the location - close to everything and we could access RMNP all four days without having to fight the downtown Estes traffic. The cabin had everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was well outfitted, the bathroom had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, and the deck was perfect for wildlife watching. Would definitely recommend.

Well maintained two bedroom cabin within walking distance to the main area of town. The cabin is clean and comfortable, has everything that you might need that you couldn't pack in your suitcase. Wildlife was right outside our door. The views of the mountains are spectacular. Very quiet area, considering the main road going through town is just right up the hill.

Right between the Estes Tram and RMNP entrance—if you’re not familiar with the area, just know this means a supreme location! The pictures don’t do the place enough justice. Husband and I have a teenager and a an infant, and it was perfect and accommodating for all. The river access is wonderful, plenty of deer and elk, magpies, bunnies, and squirrels. Conveniently located near anything you could want or need, but tucked away for privacy and quiet. Lots of thoughtful items inside the home, including little things like protectors for outlets if you have small kiddos, hair dryer, kitchen utensils, kids’ books and movies, an umbrella, etc. We would absolutely stay here again in the future, and recommend it to anyone who asks!

Excellent location for convenience to town and access to RMNP. The property was clean and well equipped to meet all your needs. The property has been so nicely remodeled to make efficient use of the space from extra towel bars in the bathroom to the stackable washer dry in the bedroom. Hope to return again some day! This cabin was the perfect retreat—immaculately clean, well-stocked with all the essentials, and ideally located near Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It was exactly as described, and we absolutely loved our stay. We couldn’t recommend it more highly!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is perfectly located between downtown Estes Park and RMNP. Its close to the river with deer and marmots visiting regularly. It was outfitted with kitchen supplies and was cozy with the snowy day we had. We'd love to return.

We visited Estes Park as a weekend getaway from a nearby town in Northern Colorado. We cooked and brought a lot of food with us so that we didn't have to eat out as much. The full-sized fridge was clean! Overall cleanliness was satisfactory - detailed dusting would be a good addition to the cleaning routine (blinds, fake plants, etc.) but it is also just dry and dusty in CO, so it was not bad.Beds are alright. Instructions for checkin, checkout, and Estes Park-specific rules (dark sky community, black bear country, etc.) were very clear and well communicated.Fantastic location - Only takes a couple of minutes to drive to downtown or a few minutes to get to RMNP.We will definitely keep this cabin on our list for future visits!

Very impressed with how well stocked this place was! I have stayed at many VRBO that day well stocked and there aren’t essentials. This place had everything! Condiments, coffee AND coffee filters! We came up to see the snow in RMNP. It was stunning. The little cabin was exactly as advertised! Clean, well equipped, comfortable beds, nice fireplace. Minutes from the entrance to the park and to downtown. Alex was great. Let us check in a little early which helped! It was below zero at night during our dtay and not much above during the day. The cabin was nice and tossty the whole time. If you wsnt yo stay in Edtes Psrk, book it!!!

My husband and I brought our 4 year old grand daughter to Estes because she'd never seen snow. We were looking for a quiet place, away from the hustle and bustle, but with close access. This cabin was perfect for what we wanted and is very close to RMNP where we took the little one to the sledding hill. Alex was easy to work with; the check-in and check-out process was clearly defined. The cabin is adorable and was clean and ready for us with many thoughtful little touches. We hope to go back again next time we have family in the area looking for a good Colorado experience. We highly recommend!

The cabin is in a great location near downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. I will note it is not on the river but a short walk to the river. Nice place to sit by the river or fish if you wish. The cabin is nicely designed and very comfortable.

We loved staying in this cabin for a quick trip to Estes Park. We woke up to a herd of deer one morning and a group of turkeys the next, just outside the door. The cabin was clean, well stocked and comfy beds. Highly recommend!

Our stay was very good. 22, there about, Elk on the first day hung around the cabin all day. However did not see them much after that. Cabin was just right, and well kept. Had all we needed in the cabin. We arrived a little early. The cleaning was done, so Alex allowed us to go in. A short walk to the river where we sat and listened to the river rapids. Very relaxing. It had everything we needed and was clean. We had wildlife right out in front every day, from mule deer to elk to a big group of magpies. The river was great to sit by and easy to access from the cabin. The price was perfect and we had a great time staying in Estes Park!

Very clean and cozy cabin. Very well stocked had everything we needed! Loved the location. Enjoyed the elk and sitting by the Thompson river. Only negative was the bed was VERY uncomfortable to sleep on! Need to invest in a new mattress.

The property was right in the middle of Estes Park. Making it easy to get around and enjoy town. The place is clean and well maintained. It was very comfortable staying the weekend and would definitely reserve again.

This property was perfect for our family of four. The location was great, and will be even better once the nearby road work is complete. The cabin was very clean and had everything that we needed. Our boys loved walking down to and wading in the river. We would definitely recommend!

Without GPS it is easy to miss the turn to access the driveway to enter the property. The property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was functional and was stocked with enough items for a family of 4 to cook and enjoy meals with regular use of the dishwasher. The bathroom was clean and had enough towels for a family of 4. The washer and dryer were also appreciated. The river access picnic area was also excellent. The location was ideal for access to the town and RMNP. Morning coffee was often accompanied by views of deer, elk, and magpies. We appreciated the RMNP hiking trail guide found in the TV stand. My wife and kids both said I made a excellent choice in booking this property. We would stay here again.
