Cozy cabin 8 minutes from Ark Encounter!!

We did not spend a large amount of time in the cabin, as we were there for a men's conference at the Ark Encounter. Jonathan, the host was very friendly. The cabin was well kept and clean. I plan to rent the cabin again next year. I do want to confirm that the ceiling in the loft is only about 3 to 3-1/2 ft high. My son and I slept there, and we are both over 6 ft tall. We have camped with much worse sleeping conditions. The mattresses were very comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience.

This place was beautiful and only 8 minutes from the Ark. Jonathan was very responsive and the place was very clean. We will be going back.

We enjoyed the peaceful cabin. It was close to the interstate and provided a nice place to relax after visiting the Ark and Creation Museum.

This property should be advertised with “sleeps 2 adults & 2 children”. The loft has 2 twin mattresses on the FLOOR with 12” to 30” headspace from the ceiling while laying down. Also, there is no more than 35” clearance from the top of ladder to ceiling. The stairs are really steep… again, suitable for children, but not for adults.

The welcome packet had very clear instructions about the property. Location was great being only nine minutes from The Ark Encounter, a few minutes from town but in a country setting and remote feel. Great communication from the host too. Aces!

As a family of 6 we had no problems at this cabin. We did not end up cooking but if needed, some pots and a lot of utensils were provided. TONS of extra blankets in the room closet were available, towels, etc. My only recommendation is to bring your own showering soap, there was none that we could find. We had a buable where the pack and play wasnt put in our cabin but upon talking to Jonathan, that was easily remedied! He does have work during day time hours but always could be expected to respond by evening time. The inside is beautiful, the outside scenery beautiful, the air conditioning inside worked exceptionally in the hot weather, and we couldnt imagine staying anywhere else if we come out that way again. We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. Everything was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and prepared for our arrival. The cabin was comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed!The location was great, and the extra instructions Jonathan provided for arriving were extremely helpful. Beans Cafe and Bakery was a great spot for coffee/breakfast and was only just a few minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable cabin stay!

The cabin was exactly what we needed for a short 3 day stay. We found it as described. It was clean and provided everything we needed. The view is fantastic and secluded, away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby town. We were very thankful for air conditioning as the weather was hot and humid. Perfect location for our our visit to The Ark Encounter. Thank you.

We stayed as it was close to The Ark Encounter. It was perfect for our family. We cooked breakfast, went out for the day. Came back for dinner. Started a campfire, went for a walk, came back to cook dinner and s'mores. It was a wonderful time!

Close to the Ark Encounter and only 45 minutes from the creation museum. My kids loved the loft. And my daughter loved sleeping on the couch. She said it was so comfy. There was 5 of us. Even though there was no t.v. we still managed to keep the kids entertained. Very peaceful and comfy cabin. We actually spent family time together there. Definitely worth the money.

It was clean. The only thing was the loft beds. We were all over 60 and the loft ceiling was so low that it was very hard navigate.

We enjoyed our stay in the cozy Cabin. It was clean and really cute. I think the listing could better reflect accommodations to say two small dorm refrigerators and loft is most comfortable for children. Adults had to crawl into bed as there is no head space. It is truly a loft. The beds were comfortable. Two adults and children would be very comfortable. I thought the couch was a sleeper sofa because the listing read sleeps 6. The bedroom has a queen size bed, the sofa is comfortable for sleeping one (and it is comfortable to sleep on), and the loft has two comfortable twins on the floor that requires you to crawl in ( a problem for claustrophobics). Our stay was a good one and we felt safe.

This cabin was perfect for our weekend stay. Close to town but out in the country! Quiet and peaceful.

The property was ok. Check-in was easy. There is not much to do around the area besides the Ark Encounter so we left after only one night.

The owners thought of everything that could be needed to make our stay here effortless and peaceful. Jonathan communicated early and often and provided detailed information. It would have been easy to stay on the porch and just enjoy the views and quiet!!

This was an excellent place to stay for a couple. We were close to the ark yet close enough to Cincinnati to enjoy day trips. Highly Recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at this tiny cabin. We were in town for the Ark Encounter and it was perfect for our family of four the two nights we stayed. Location was great. Jonathan was very quick to respond to all of our needs and questions. (If I could suggest one thing to add, it would be a lamp in the bedroom for reading). Would definitely recommend this cabin.

We came down to see the Arc and to visit our son at UK. This is a beautiful hide away. Nothing fancy but rustic! Clean. It has all you need. Beautiful views!

Great little cabin for our two night stay! Host communication was great- easy check in. We used this cabin to experience the Ark :) would recommend- for littles the loft was a highlight for our kids- However just needed supervision up and down the stairs

Excellent place. The owner is out of town so you have to communicate with them before you arrive to make sure you get all the entry information.

ProsOur family stayed here to be close to the Ark Encounter and that absolutely met expectations! Kitchen is pretty well equipped with dishes. ConsYou would not be able to cook anything elaborate here as there are not big enough pots etc. I'm sure that's not important to a lot of people, but if you prefer cooking to eating out, this wouldn't be your place.There is no TV at all.There are 2 mini fridges instead of a regular sized fridge. The one we had milk in froze the milk. The single bathroom is tiny with barely enough room to turn around in the shower much less shave your legs. A larger person would have a hard time showering.The loft has no head room at all which looked a bit different to me online, but our 12 year old daughter slept fairly comfortably up there. I wouldn't recommend the loft for sleeping any adults.We couldn't figure out how to properly work the portable heater in the bedroom and I woke up sweating nightly.All in all, the cabin was neat, orderly and met our needs for a place to sleep close to the attractions we wanted to visit.

This cabin was perfect for our family who was visiting from Louisiana. We had a family of five and we slept comfortably. The host accommodated us very well. The cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed couldn’t ask for a better host would definitely recommend.

Nice little cabin. Fit our needs for an alternative to motel close to Ark Encounter. Pleasant country setting, but not too far from highway and restaurants, stores if needed. Be nice place for small family that likes cabin setting.

Our twin 9-year-old grandchildren said this was a fantastic vacation & loved their loft bedroom. Close to The Ark Encounter, Whispering Woods Horseback riding, & The Creation Museum. Also only half hour to Cincinnati airport.

We enjoyed our stay. Jonathan was great to work with and very friendly. We chose this location for being close to the Creation museum and Ark encounter. The site is still under construction, but was not a hinderance. We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and peaceful. The camp sity is under construction
