Stayed Jun 28, 2024Unfortunately there was mouse poop in multiple areas of the cabin and a lot of dead bugs on the floor along the edges of the walls that looked like they haven't been cleaned up in a while. There was also what appeared to be beard trimmings? all around the bathroom sink/counter. The overall size is decent. Fridge was clean. The shower is small. I only stayed one night but I left early in the morning because I was slightly grossed out. Communication prior to arriving was good.

Stayed Jun 27, 2023Too many steps for me. Getting out of the teeny tiny shower was difficult and there were two steps down. Needed a grab bar. My granddaughter had difficulty holding on to her two year old and walking down the steps. He had slivers in his hands from the raw wood on the the doorway trim and the steps out of the kitchen. He held on to the trim to walk down the steps and crawled up the steps and got slivers from the raw wood on steps. The outside chairs were a couple of old metal folding chairs or you could use old captains chairs. There was only pea gravel … no grass. We didn’t realize the remodeled shepherds wagon did not connect to the house so whoever slept there had to go outside, walk down stairs to use the bathroom. Not convenient. Kitchen was nicely remodeled and all was clean. Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Cabin just needs some work. We wanted for nothing. Kitchen was fully equipped as was the bathroom with all the extras we could need. Very thoughtful.

Stayed Jun 15, 2023This place definitely had the feel good rustic vibe. It truly was cozy, peaceful and so beautiful. We are hoping to be able to come back in the near future! Highly recommend staying here!

Stayed Jun 1, 2026Go somewhere else for the amount that you pay. The place was filled with spiderwebs and dead insects everywhere. The dishes were worn out and terrible. The ceiling is so low where you hit your head on everything. The bathroom was a joke with the pictures not showing you the full picture with the sink being down to your knees and the shower being the smallest shower ever. You can’t walk up to the sink without hitting your head on the ceiling and to be able to see yourself you have to be on your knees to look in the mirror and you can’t wash your legs in the shower without hitting your head on the wall. The walls of the cabin were bowed inwards and some parts of the cabin floors were rotten. The second room of the place is detached in that wagon and has no blinds to cover the windows for privacy and all the doors barely fit in the door frames and were not secured. Overall this place needs heavy remodeling to make it decent and I would recommend finding a place in the city.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025Nice cozy cabin. Excellent kitchen and wifi access. One problem to report was the raised steps between kitchen and hallway. I tripped over it a couple times. Maybe a sign to watch step would help or level off that step to avoid tripping.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025They have did a really good job of fixing up the cabin for guest to stay in. Not your typical type of quarters to stay in. If your looking for a unique stay this would be it.

Stayed Oct 4, 2024We want something between Boulder & Helena. This was perfect. Cute cabin. Everything you could need. Towels, Iron board & Iron, coffee makers, hot water maker, Ice Cube tray in the freeze, BBQ out-front. I loved the living room. Cute small table in the kitchen. Got night light in different places in the cabin to help you find your way in the dark. I would love to stay there again.

Stayed Aug 23, 2024Definitely a piece of history! I personally struggled with size of the bathroom. I am 5 10 and had to kneel to see in the mirror. Tiniest shower ever but adequate. Kitchen was very complete.
