Country Charm D – Cozy Pet Friendly Cabin in Helen

We got there 12 minutes early and they wouldn’t let us check in the code to the door didn’t work. I called and there was an extremely rude person on the phone named Sherry. And said well it’s before 4 o’clock so fine. We waited the 12 minutes, but there was what we thought was ice cream but some kind of substance all over the front porch that was drawing flies. We finally get in the owner who comes because the air-conditioning isn’t working and he did a very good job and he was very responsive but having to call their call center was very, very difficult and the fact that you can’t let somebody check in 12 minutes early. It is a little ridiculous as far as the cleanliness it was OK it was like swept, but the floors weren’t mopped. I had a little dogs they kept finding a little bit bits of things on the floor so I had to sweep. There was no mop or I would have mopped the stove was not clean the trays underneath the burners had built-up grease on them so I had to clean the stove before I could use the stove. The cleaning people had the audacity to leave an envelope for a tip well, if I’m doing all your work, why would I tip you? Then I had to strip the bed why would I have to strip the bed? I did but I thought that was a little outrageous to ask a guest to do that you have to change the sheets anyway what’s a big deal as far as the owner goes in the air-conditioning issue that was handled very professionally and very promptly. I don’t know that I’d recommend this, but it was OK

It was close to town but still secluded so we didn't have to worry about traffic or noisy neighbors. The shower is very small.

Great location real close to main street yet far enough away to be rustic. Nice cabin with everything you could need .

The kitchen may need 2 more bowls though as there were only two for the 4 of us (we used mugs for soup night!) lol. Overall, a cozy weekend.

The place was very nice and cozy. We loved it.

The cabin was great! Close to the Village and lots of things to do- although the jacuzzi tub placement was a little weird, and there could have been more silverware in the kitchen- especially forks. Overall, I would recommend this cabin.

The owners were really kind and even had a Christmas tree lit to welcome us.

The host was very professional and responded immediatly when I reached out to see if we could check in early. She also check in daily to make sure all was good with our accommodations and stay. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. Everything you need if you felt like cooking. We ate out the whole time. Beautiful area less than one mile off of the main road in Helen. We had plenty of hot water for showers and the heater worked great when it was below freezing for several nights. Nice porch with swing and rocking chairs and outdoor lighting for security. It snowed the Monday and Tuesday we were there. If the windchill wasn't so cold (was really blowing), we would have sat on the porch and watched it snow. When getting ready to leave early Tuesday morning, we saw four deer cross through the front yard. I definitely would stay there again. Helen is a great place to stay since it is kinda centered in between at least three federal/state parks with less than an hour travel time to each of them. Waterfalls and trails were awesome.

We loved the cabin. It was clean, the bed/pillows were so comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a last minute dinner. We’ll definitely rent again!

We stayed in Cabin D which was in the back of the property and it was perfect. Our kiddos loved the loft, but their favorite spot was swinging on the front porch. The cabin had all of the essentials, was very clean, comfortable beds/couch/chairs, and the rental process was smooth and easy. The property management team was extremely helpful and responsive, and even reached out our first morning to make sure all was well. This was a great place for our family of 4! We will be back!

Cute cabin in a great location. We enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was in a quiet location, but also a short walk away from all of the Helen fun.

The cabin was cute and we enjoyed our stay they accommodated us

Loved the location. Could have used an extra roll of toilet paper, so we bought some. Also, the couch is very broke down which makes it very uncomfortable to sit in. There is only one other chair besides the couch, so it really should be ready replaced.
