Cougar Cabin - Beautiful 3BR Log Cabin Near Spearfish Canyon and Deadwood!

Reviewer Comments: first night had issues with thermostat, very cold in cabin, were able to get a hold of owner, did some adjustments on thermostat did get warm, texted next morning to let him know, owner was pleasant. Cabin was nice & cozy, & clean. Grandkids loved the hot tub.

The host did a great job communicating with us. The cabin was so nice in pictures but way better in person. The garage was a hit as well as the hottub/fireplace for our kids. Such a beautiful cabin!

Cabin was beautiful and was fully stocked which was nice as we cooked most of our meals there. The fireplace was nice and cozy and the hot tub got put to good use on those cold nights. We loved watching the deer come through the yard every morning.

The cabin was very cozy and inviting, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Easy to find, quiet neighborhood, and lots of visits from the local wildlife. Quick 10 minute drive into town to the grocery store, and about an hour from Mt Rushmore, Needles Highway and Custer state park—this spot is great. The hot tub was enjoyable after a long day of seeing the sites and exploring nature. Definitely recommend Cougar Cabin!

Excellent stay. Very enjoyable. Everything as advertised. Hot tub was great! Near to Spearfish, Lead, Deadwood. Not far from Rapid City or Mount Rushmore. Would consider staying here again. Thanks!

Our stay was fantastic, property manager was great and quick to respond with all questions. Only complaint was that the property was very overgrown with weeds including the walking path from the front entry way around to the porch with the hot tub and grill. Other than that everything was great

It was terrific, nice and quiet and only minutes to Lead-Deadwood. We are from San Antonio, Texas and when we got some snow on Friday, we watched it for hours. Thanks again for a terrific spot!

We drove from Oakes, ND and Steamboat, CO and met in Lead, SD and stayed at the Cougar Cabin. We were very impressed from the minute we drove up! Beautiful property and such a serene setting. The cabin was beautiful and very clean! Rooms were great as was the rest of the cabin! Loved hot tubbing in the morning while the sun rose.Thanks for helping us make some amazing memories!!

Would've been nice to know the cabin was a 1/4 mile down a dirt and gravel road because we rode motorcycles. There was no AC in the cabin but there were numerois fans. Lastly, the master bedroom tub looked like it needed cleaned. Temperatures luckily dropped and the heat worked well. Everything else was great.

The hot water downstairs and water pressure did not work. Also the screen door is ripped and the one green chair slat was ripped. Overall location and the cabin was cozy. Nice to be close to Deadwood ?
