Stayed Dec 24, 2025Great location for our family getaway in the NC mountains. Host was very responsive and met all our needs. Especially appreciated the excellent handy man who came to fix an electrical issue. Will definitely return!

Stayed Jul 28, 2025While we didn't cook, the refrigerator was a great size, the beds comfy, rooms clean, view amazing and super quiet. Plus the air conditioner worked great and that is HUGE for me. We did buy black out temp shades for two of the rooms.I do wish they would fill the gully/rut in the driveway, it was not good for the cars! We had to clear some of the brush on the side to not damage our cars.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025Great location with to die for views!The house had a great layout for large groups, plenty of room to spread out. A few minor cleaning/maintenance issues with the house. Another thing to note is that there are no curtains or blinds on the windows which can make being on the decks tricky if the bedrooms are occupied.

Stayed Aug 1, 2023Spacious house with picturesque views of the mountains! Listing is as advertised; however, note that the house is at the end of a steep gravel driveway and the bedrooms do not have window treatments. Town is a 15-minute drive on a winding road. We enjoyed our stay and even recommended the home to a friend for future stays in Blowing Rock!

Stayed Jun 19, 2023We loved the layout of the house. The lack of shades on the main bedroom window meant no guests could access the main porch while someone was in the bedroom. I inquired w/VRBO before booking and was assured that blinds had been added, but that was not true. The kitchen was not adequately supplied, needs functional pots/pans, can opener.
