Stayed Apr 17, 2025My family of 5 and our dog enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Shiff Shack over Easter break. The house was the perfect size for my family, with 2 queen bedrooms on the first floor, and a loft on the second floor with 2 queen beds. We enjoyed the large room with the sectional couch and large TV to watch movies in the evening. I would have loved to use the fire pit out back, but it was too windy during our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. There is so much to do at the Hideout! We thoroughly enjoyed the 2.75 mile nature trail. My only feedback I would like to offer is to improve the lighting in the kitchen. There is plenty of natural light during the day, but it was very dim at night. We hope to visit the Shiff Shack again in the future!

Stayed Jan 24, 2025This property is very nice. Everything was updated as shown and was very comfortable. The community overall was an enjoyable place to stay. I gave 5 on cleanliness but will note the coffee carafe was not cleaned (and very clearly had been used). All I will say about communication and check in is read every single word of every single communication, because for us not all the information was the same. Some information was omitted in some places, but was given in others.I did provide screen shots to the property manager to show this discrepancy so hopefully they will fix it for future guests.Finally, the guest passes that are in the rental that are needed to access the resort amenities said 2024, but I was later informed were good until end of March 2025. There's no information anywhere that I saw to explain this, so I'm not sure how guests are expected to know this.
