The cabin was very clean and the views were amazing. It was very cold when we got in there, but it warmed up before we went to bed. The locks to get into the house were difficult, we stood outside for a long time before we finally got inside.

Kitchen was really well equipped and had everything you need. Hot tub was a great bonus! Property is beautiful and the cabin is super cozy. We loved our stay and will be back!

The property is amazing. The house is amazing. It’s a great place for dogs because the house has a fenced in kennel. The hot tub was very clean and very hot and worked perfectly and the view is amazing. I highly recommend this property. My family will be staying here again for sure.

This was our second time to stay at this cabin. We absolutely love the hot tub on the deck and the amazing views. Every night after hiking for the better part of the day, we were able to relax and enjoy this beautiful, spacious cabin!

What a wonderful property! It's location was very secluded and beautiful. The house was very clean and charming. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need as well. I would highly recommend this property if you're looking for an incredible vacation.

Absolutely appalled by this experience. We disclosed our dogs up front through VRBO and already paid the required pet fees, only to be blindsided afterward with completely fabricated claims of ‘damage’ and ‘extra cleaning’ in an attempt to squeeze even more money out of us.We left this property extremely clean — washed towels, did dishes, cleaned up after ourselves, and treated the home respectfully. Our dogs slept in crates every night and caused absolutely no damage whatsoever. Yet after checkout, the owner suddenly claimed there were repairs needed to walls and curtains with zero proof provided. Convenient.This feels dishonest, predatory, and frankly like a scam tactic to justify additional charges after guests leave. If there were truly damages, where are the photos? Where is the documentation? Instead, just vague accusations and a demand for more money.What makes this even worse is that this stay was supposed to be part of our 20th wedding anniversary getaway. Instead of enjoying the memory, we’re now dealing with false accusations and an owner trying to blame our pets for things that simply did not happen.I would strongly caution anyone to avoid this property unless you’re comfortable potentially being accused of fake damages after checkout. Completely unacceptable behavior and one of the most unprofessional hosting experiences we’ve ever had.

The road leading to the property was in bad shape and made for a poor experience. Also, it needs to be mentioned that the altitude is near 10000 feet which can lead to altitude sickness. We all experienced symptoms that made us sick and could not stay there even one night. If I would have known about these issues, I would not have wasted over 1200 booking the property.

Our second time renting this house, love everything about it. Very secluded, quiet. The house is charming and comfortable. Will be back again next year

Perfect cozy mountain getaway. The guidebook is FULL of awesome recs that I would’ve not known about. Hot tub star gazing is a must.

Communication was great. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. The cabin is definitely out there but well worth the drive. Having a wood burning fireplace and a hot tub was a great option to fully unwind. The cabin was stocked with lots of extras and made it feel like a home away from home.

Great place! The surrounding woods are lovely and peaceful, the cabin has a stocked kitchen with all the tools you’ll need, the whole place was cozy and comfortable. The hosts are kind and accommodating. We had five adults and felt like there was plenty of space for us. Hot tub was a big bonus!

Fantastic hot tub, quiet location.

Very clean and well supplied place! There was all kinds of kitchen equipment as well as a small pantry with cans, rice, seasonings, etc. The carpets look brand new (we were very impressed by how clean they were). The location and scenery were beautiful and very quiet and secluded. The fireplace is wonderful if chilly outside, it WILL heat the whole house if you get it nice and hot for a while. We didn’t even need to use the heater at night. The hot tub is amazing!! If it’s cold outside make sure you start heating it up as soon as you get there! It can take a while to get hot.

Cabin is located in a beautiful, wooded area. The hot tub was a nice relaxation spot at the end of busy days sightseeing. The amenities in the house were perfect, we had everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay.

We loved everything about this lovely property; but be aware that it is a long way from highway 24. We enjoy cooking our own meals, but if you are a go out to eat person, this might not be the best place for you. The new hot tub was delightful.

The communication for the cabin was superb! When we arrived the cabin was very clean and just beautiful. We had such an amazing time and it felt like home away from home. The hot tub was great in the evenings to relax and unwind after spending the day on our adventures. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and enjoy an evening inside! Thanks again Tanya for wonderful communication and thank you to the managers for opening the cabin to us and making us feel so welcome! The deer in the evening are amazing to watch!

Pros: Cute place with charm. Very clean and a wonderful hot tub. There was just about everything you'd need in the house. Now the cons: There was no satellite as stated in the listing, just Roku streaming. I don't mind doing the dishes, but washing and putting in the dryer all the towels we used...well...

Great place, has everything a person could need including food supplies that we didn't bother to bring. Hot tub is fantastic, beds are comfy and the electric reclining sectional was heavenly. Just needs a bigger TV(football season) in rhe living room.

What a lovely and comfy place. The view out every window is lovely and peaceful, and the smell of the woods after it rains is second-to-none. I had my two teenage boys with me, and as they eat like horses, I do a lot of cooking. The cabin had everything I needed to whip up breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and we especially enjoyed the waffle iron. We’d had an itinerary in place before coming out, but I really appreciated the cabin’s info binder as it had everything from restaurants to “secret” swimming holes, off-road routes to more major attractions like Royal Gorge. It also had a lot of info about the house that made using the hot tub, indoor heaters, etc., that much easier. The owners (and property managers) were so, so kind. Following a minor scheduling mishap of mine, they worked with us to find an efficient solution that worked for everyone, and we were so grateful for their flexibility—I really can’t thank them enough. We’d love to come back sometime for more adventure as there’s so much to explore and enjoy there, and the cabin was a beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well-provisioned base camp to do it from.

Took my family on vacation to see the mountains. Wanted a stay away from all the noise, but close enough to drive to. This cabin did just that. The family loved the time spent in the cabin. The dirt road to the cabin is no joke though. Following google maps its about 9 miles of dirt road. Its a slow go, but very scenic.

The place was great! We had an amazing time! GREAT communication between guest and host… this was our first time renting and it couldn’t have gone smoother! We enjoyed the hot tub and the view! The cabin had no AC but we enjoyed their heating system! It was amazing!

Everything was nice and clean. The hot tub was great and in working order. It’s fairly far off the main road, so it was nice and serene.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was truly beautiful. It was nice and clean and the couch was super comfortable. The cabin is in a nice secluded place to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city to unwind and relax. I highly recommend it. I would like to thank the host for making this a nice place to stay.

We booked the cabin really for our pup. He is scared of fireworks. The cabin was quiet and relaxing. Deck was the best part. The bed was uncomfortable. They had a list of chores for you to do in a rule book, some others in a card and a sticky note on the cabinet. None of which was on Vrbos site. Just wasn’t expecting to be required to wash a load of laundry.

The owners were amazing and fast responding. The house is beautiful and very clean. There wasn’t AC but they had plenty of fans to accommodate, Let me add it was not HOT it was cool. It was kind of hard to use the HOT tub due to the windy weather. The house was completely stocked with everything you needed. We don’t bring our pups but definitely could have!!!

Fantastic stay!!This was a 3rd annual trip with our family, could not have picked a better spot!One part of us drove down from Michigan and the other part drove up from Texas. We had everything we needed. I have recommended this house for quite a few people! Hiking all around the property, and amazing views from the porch. This was a great trip for a very much needed vacation.

Home was beautiful and exactly as described! Hot tub was a great additional amenity! Property owner was excellent and very easy to communicate with. Included with stay were itineraries and local attraction information. Great stay and would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay here with my finance. The cabin was perfect and we really enjoyed the view and fireplace! I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation!

We really enjoyed this cabin and our stay here. The host paid attention to details, and all our needs were met. The hot tub on the deck had beautiful views and was the best hot tub we have ever used - spacious with well-placed, powerful jets. While technically in a neighborhood, the layout and trees gave us the feeling of seclusion and privacy. We traveled from here to some great drives and hikes (Eleven Mile Canyon, Cripple Creek, Phantom Canyon Road, etc.)

Everything was beautiful the whole time. Seeing the wildlife every morning was very thrilling. The sunsets were amazing. One of the best times we had in a while. Want to thank the host and the Caretaker dor rescuing us when we accidently locked ourselves out. Great response time.

The cabin was fantastic, clean and well equipped for home cooked meals. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Our favorite part of the stay was keeping a fire going in the wood burning insert. We’d definitely stay here again.

Our family of five had a wonderful time staying in this cabin for the weekend. Seeing the night sky without city lights pollution is wonderful. The Jacuzzi is a great addition to this property. Be prepared to drive on a rough dirt road for about 10 miles to get there. Highly recommended property.

The host was so super and amazing such great communication. Such a beautiful place to rent and i suggest this for any family especially traveling with pets so awesome and away from the city nice and peaceful.

This cabin is so beautiful, inside and out. The location is private and secluded. You have everything you could ever need and more provided. The Hot tub was especially nice, and the view stunning. We absolutely fell in love with the cabin. There is more than enough room for a couple and I'd imagine a family would be comfortable.

My kids and I were looking for a Colorado mountains experience and we sure found it! The cabin was well off the beaten path but wonderfully quiet and secluded. The roads were rough once you got off the main highway due to the grading, but were not impossible for a car without 4WD. The cabin had all the kitchen and bath amenities of a home, which was very convenient. Overall we had a great time relaxing, enjoying the views, and visiting the nearby towns.

LOVE this property! Quiet, secluded, well maintained, and had everything we needed. The drive up in the snow was beautiful. We arrived to find a beautiful, clean and well stocked cabin, a personal note from the host Joann, and even a small homemade holiday treat. The views are spectacular. Cooking dinner on the grill, then hitting the hot tub in the evening was awesome. The dogs (& us) really enjoyed watching for wildlife from the deck and just hanging out. The cabin sits back at the end of a cul-de-sac so no need to worry about traffic when enjoying an afternoon walk. We will definitely want to book this one again next New Years!

The cabin feels like home. It was very clean and beautiful views all around. The kitchen was perfect to cook in. The hot tub is in the perfect spot to get to see the views and the stars are amazing at night. Definitely would stay here again.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving, and it was the perfect retreat! The property was even more gorgeous in person. You can tell the property owners are thoughtful and provided an abundance of towels, shower supplies, and kitchen tools for convenience. The hot tub had amazing views and it was a wonderful relaxing re-charge. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place to unwind for our 44th wedding anniversary. Bought groceries on the way up and never left, the fall view & hot tub was too peaceful to leave! Kitchen had everything we needed. Too warm for snow & blazing fireplace, can only imagine.... Only downfall is the worn out sectional. All said, doesn't get much better, wish we would've booked a few more nights. If the creeks don't rise & the Lord willing we'll be back to celebrate number 45.
