Charming and Unique Log Cabin with Beautiful Garden Setting

We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The beautiful setting and the decorations and feel of the the place was inviting and homey. The property owners are great hosts and were very responsive to questions before our trip. We also loved the screened in back porch!

The host was very supportive and welcoming. They helped us from the get go and made our stay wonderful. The home itself is so very charming. Attention to detail is evident everywhere u look! A luxurious log cabin in a charming town in the beautiful NC mountains…what could be better?

This is a beautiful cabin located close to downtown Highlands. It is just as welcoming inside as it is outside. We were in awe the moment we pulled into the driveway. The accommodations were so comfortable and we felt like we were “home.” The hosts were easy to communicate with and we certainly plan to book this again!

The cabin was very clean and smartly appointed with everything you'll need to enjoy meals in-house. There was plenty of firewood, games and puzzles to have a fun cozy evening. While Mountain Fresh Grocery has an extensive wine selection, their groceries are limited and very expensive. Shop at Bryson's Food Store for a full service grocery store. Dry Falls are a must to visit and an easy walk. Whiteside Mountain Trail is a great 2 mile hike with tremendous views...take some snacks and enjoy the view. We would highly recommend this cabin!

Very cozy cottage. We enjoyed everything about our stay. We loved the fireplace! We had a fire going all day and night! The grounds were very pretty. We did see deer, but no bears! Would definitely stay there again.

Scout’s Retreat is the mountain home you’ve dreamed of! Charming and warm with attention to anything a visitor needs to feel welcome. The decor is exceptional with mountain motifs, but tastefully updated. The hosts had a bottle of wine and a big basket of snacks waiting on us. We were invited to take advantage of anything we saw. We plan to rebook next year!

Charming cottage wonderfully equipped.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a week in this adorable, well-located cabin. The owner has decorated with vintage style wallpapers and a curated collection of paintings, some she has produced herself! We loved our stay.

Our hosts were just lovely, accommodating and welcoming. The property was perfect for a girls weekend.

Our stay was interrupted by bad weather and the owner was ok with our departure being a day early. Loved the cozy back porch!! Kitchen was well appointed.
