Cedar Cove-fishing, hot tub, fire pit & playhouse

We loved the remote setting among the trees. Quiet, clean, cozy and comfortable. The four of us had a great stay. We highly recommended this unit.

Beautiful Cabin, great location if you want quiet and relaxation. Pet friendly was a plus. Firepit was awesome. Only complaint was the outside porches, hot tub, chairs, cushions etc. were absolutely filthy. It looked as though it had been a very long time since someone had been to the property. Definitely needed a refresh prior to our arrival. The interior was clean so it wasn't a bad job by the cleaners it was just more neglect on the outside. The pollen was an inch thick on every surface and the hot tub was unusable which was a major disappointment. Dirty and jets seem clogged, cool temperature and would not heat up. Spent an hour cleaning around it and on top of the cover to just use it and then it didn't work. Sad. But, a wonderful home and location. Definitely worth a visit if you want quiet, just plan on cleaning outside to use it and don't want a hot tub.

This cabin was in a great location. Peaceful, mostly private(there are a couple of cabins nearby), and so quiet. Me and my wife came up for a baby shower and to see Desoto Falls. That waterfall and swimming hole is amazing! Easy to get to from the cabin and beautiful. We will absolutely be returning.

Cedar Cove was great for our small group. We loved the accommodations and the scenery. It was a great set-up for our group!

This cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. It was the perfect little trip! Peaceful, cozy, and stocked amazingly with everything we needed. It was also perfect for kids, which made our stay even better. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back!

Perfect size for our party of 4. Everything inside was great. We found everything we could need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the remote setting among trees, and this made us relax even more. Super pet friendly space. Wish it would have been cleaner, primarily in the kitchen - drawers, and in the bathroom showers.Would recommend grippers on the shower floor or something else. Slick. Grills were not clean. Couldn't get gas grill to work. Space overall was okay. It was peaceful for that we are thankful.

Very clean and well stocked!

We were there for a 50+ year college reunion. Four of us stayed at Cedar Cove. It is a very quaint mountain cottage in a beautiful setting. Very well equipped and our stay was very comfortable.

The Cedar Cove where we visited looked just like the pictures, quaint and rustic yet full of modern conveniences. We loved the screened in porches where we could enjoy the sounds of nature without the bugs. The cabin was spotless, even the outdoor areas. We will definitely consider Cedar Cove if we are staying in the area again.

Had a great stay at Cedar Cove in Mentone. Very private surroundings. Everything was just as described. We did not need anything, but Holly with Delightful Retreats proactively in making sure we had contacts if needed.

This is our second year getting the same cabin. Our kids love it! We will always come back!

I was looking for a secluded place that had water behind it and that was close enough to go to the parks and go hiking. We had a wonderful long weekend. I liked that you couldn't see any of the other homes around you.

Me, my wife and our twin boys went to Mentone for the first time and we booked this place. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We loved the cabin. It was very private, with big screened in porches. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us, and was well stocked.
