Hi! We're A&B Mountain Properties (Alison and Brad)!! Our cabin is about 12 minutes west of Main Street BR, COZY, and has amazing layered mountain views all year. We love our family business and there are no chores at check-out, so you can relax!

Our home is also close to Westglow, less than 5 minutes to the BRP/Price Lake/Moses Cone, and .3 mile to the Asutsi trailhead which connects you to ALL east side trails of Grandfather Mountain and is the only access point for these trailsin winter.

Mountain Flower Hideaway is a dream come true in every sense! It is a beautiful, amenity-rich cabin that provides guests both seclusion and a fabulous location minutes to Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone and all of the treasures of the High Country. The seasonal long-range views are stunning, the daily sunrise is awe-inspiring, and the property boasts ample parking for guests and tons of outdoor space for stargazing, mountain storm watching, fires in the fire pit, grilling, yard games, and walks through the property's unique rhododendron tunnel. The inside is no less impressive. The main floor is comprised of a master bedroom with a queen bed and en-suite half bath (and washer and dryer). The master bedroom has two large closets, an armoire, and plenty of room and natural light for relaxation. The full bath (with tub and shower) is also located on the main level. The kitchen is a cook's dream! It is well-appointed with anything that guests could need and is pleasing to the eye with granite countertops, soft-close drawers, and stainless steel appliances. The dining area and living room are also located on the main floor. There are books throughout the house, as well as games, along with a flat screen TV for guest entertainment. The stone gas log fireplace that anchors these two living spaces is a beautiful feature for guests visiting on cold mountain nights. The upper level is comprised of two lovely bedrooms, one with a full bed and one with a queen bed. Both bedrooms have ample closet and dresser space. There is also a half bathroom upstairs as well. The cabin has been lovingly cared for and decorated. Guests will be delighted with the art, books, games, and personal touches that are located throughout the home.

*****Please note - in late Fall and Winter months, a 4WD or AWD vehicle may be necessary to get up the paved, but steep driveway. For guests without this type of vehicle, parking is available on a lower part of the property, but additional walking to the front door of the house will be involved. We are not responsible for damage that occurs to guest vehicles or other property.***

We do have an outside Ring doorbell camera at the front door of this cabin, strictly for security purposes. It only monitors the entry way and several feet on either side of the front door.

We came for the fall color and were not disappointed by the view or it's proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The fully equipped kitchen allowed cooking in. The hosts were easily available by text/phone and very helpful. Comfortable beds and bathrooms with a fireplace. All things we desired in a mountain cabin. Our car handled the driveway fine and we could easily turn around.

This is the perfect mountain getaway. The property is very clean and the hosts were excellent. We enjoyed local hiking, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad and the quaint town of Blowing Rock. We can’t wait to return!

This cabin was a home away from home! We enjoyed exploring the property and using the wonderful fire pit on a cold night. The owners were flexible, communicative, and overall a joy to work with. If you are in the Blowing Rock area and want to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains in style, this is the cabin for you!

Everything was great. Almost like being at home. All of the cooking necessities were available even spices that you need for cooking. It was all great from the shower accessories to games to breakfast to s’mores by the fire. This stay was beyond my expectations. Definitely up in the mountains secluded but only 15 minutes from what you need. I will recommend.

The cabin itself is adorable. It's surrounded by rhododendrons and has a great view. The directions provided were perfect, and we found the place with no problem at all. It was fantastic to be able to throw the windows open and sleep without A/C in the middle of July. The s'mores and breakfast casserole were a nice touch. We all enjoyed an evening by the fire pit. This was our first time using Home Away, and we were very pleased! I highly recommend this property, and hope to visit it again at some point.

The owners of the cabin have gone out of their way to offer more than just a bed, rather they provide guests with an experience. From the breakfast casserole and s'mores kit provided for guests to the plush bath towels and board games, every element of care was taken to offer a wonderful cabin experience. Located just minutes from Blowing Rock, this cabin offered something for every member of the family. Quiet reading nooks, a fire pit, and a walking trail through the woods. The kitchen was well appointed with nearly every kitchen tool one needs. The cabin was cleaner than most hotels and we felt very safe.

This cabin was the perfect family getaway spot! It was immaculately cleaned and maintained and had everything we needed! We loved the fire pit, smores supplies, mountain peak view on from the porch and location close to beautiful parks. Only great things to say about our stay here!

The cabin was clean and cozy and even decorated for Christmas. The owners were easy to communicate with and even came by and shoveled the driveway when it snowed while we were there. I highly recommend this place for the cleanliness and a good location to lots of things to do nearby.

We had a great time staying at the cabin with our kids! The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was cozy but still had plenty of space for all of us. Our kids' favorite part was exploring in and around the rhododendrons on the property. The location felt secluded but was right off the highway and close to many fun locations. It also was a great value for the price. Thank you!

We loved the cozy cabin in the woods! Wish we couod have stayed longer. The hosts are generous with supplies like TP, plastic bags and even s'mores!! Plus, everthing is comfortable from the beds to the couches and chairs to the climate control in the cabin. Will say, it is very easy to miss as the drive and entrance are not well marked or lit. But great views once you acsend the drive and stand out on the porch!!

The cabin was very pleasant for our family of five. Our boys enjoyed having the upstairs space, and the upstairs half-bath was convenient for their use. All of the beds were comfortable with nice linens, and the washcloths/towels were plentiful. We were glad to find the kitchen was well-stocked for our purposes, as we typically cook a few simple meals at home while we travel. The lack of wifi was not a problem for us at all; it was nice to accept the invitation to unplug, and we still had cell service if we needed it. We enjoyed the sunrises each morning and the fire pit every evening! Such a pleasant, quiet, peaceful cabin!

We had a wonderful time spending the weekend in this home. The view allows you to catch the sunrise each morning. It is far enough from town that you can enjoy the stars while sitting by the fire. The living room is very comfortable and perfect for relaxing and reading a book.

This is our 2nd annual trip to the mountains and this house has been perfect for us. My kids explore the surrounding area and we get peace and quiet. Alison, the owner, is precious and so communicative with her renters. We love it and will be back again next year for our 3rd annual trip.
