The Space:
This large mountain cabin is the perfect place for the whole family!
Cabin 9 is the largest cabin on our property- featuring 2 bedrooms as well as a loft area with 2 more beds.
This cabin has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, pots, pans, dishes and everything you need to create a gourmet meal.
The spacious dining room has a large table with seating for 6 and gorgeous views from the windows. Or, pull up a stool to the kitchen countertop for a quick bite.
The living room centers around the showstopping grand fireplace (non working). There is a large HD TV ready to stream- we have multiple couches and cozy seats for you to relax on.
The downstairs also features the first bedroom, which has a large King bed. This room also features plenty of closet space and dressers to put your clothing.
The bathroom downstairs is a full bathtub/shower combo and is located next to the bedroom and kitchen.
Next to the grand fireplace is the set of stairs that will lead you to the second floor and on to the loft.
The loft overlooks the living room and features 2 brand new King beds with dressers.
The second bedroom is upstairs and has a comfy King bed, as well as places to store your clothing and a lovely view from the window.
There is also another full bathroom upstairs that has a stand -in shower.
We have plenty of portable fans, as well as ceiling fans. There is also a window A/C unit in the loft.
This large cabin features a wrap-around porch with gorgeous views of the Rocky Mountains. The porch has plenty of cozy chairs- the perfect place to enjoy nature.
The cabin has baseboard heat to keep you warm. Sorry, the fireplace is unusable.

Guest Access:
Guests can access the entire cabin as well as our playground and communal spaces on the resort property. The main office is currently under construction.
The Neighborhood:
Fall River Road has access to Rocky Mountain National Park's north entrance and is lined on each side of the street with cabins and resorts. Even so, this area is in the remote Rocky Mountains and feels very secluded. We often have wild animals such as deer and elk on our property.
Getting Around:
The easiest way to get around is by car- you do not need 4WD to access our property. We provide free parking. We are only minutes from one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Our roads in Amberwood are paved and may be slick when it is icy or snowy. We do our best to keep them clear for you!
Other Things to Note:
We are in the wilderness of Colorado. There are bears, elk, deer, sheep and numerous other wild animals that also call the mountains home. Respect their space and do not keep any trash or food outside unattended. We have an animal proof dumpster on our property for any trash.
Fireplace is out of use. Sorry for inconvenience.
Interaction with Guests:
Please feel free to contact us at any time. You may see some of our housekeeping and maintenance crews around the property and we also have a property manager on site most of the time. Thank you!
Over all this was a great place to stay. My wife was a little upset that the fire place in cabin 9 was not working due to some repairs. The big issue in cabin 9 is the showers have very low pressure. Might just be the shower heads? The internet is also very slow, but was not a big deal.
Stayed for the Persoid meteor showers. It is a very nice place. Had a good time, great location!
The area and view are amazing at this cabin. It was spacious, clean, and close to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain State Park. The A/C unit broke the first night we were there and the next day they had brought fans and the next had repaired the unit. Jill responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!
Jill was very helpful and answered all my questions ahead of our stay. We had a nice time staying in the cabin. Thank you!
Had a really enjoyable time im colorado and at this cabin. Extremely great location close to estes and rmnp. Plenty of room for the 4 of us and the deck was amazing.
