We are a group of cabins on the east side of Fall River Road and only minutes to the Fall River Entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. A few miles away from the Stanley Hotel and Estes Park.
This cabin has a Queen bed, clothing storage area, small sofa, mini kitchen, bathroom with shower and small dining table. We have parking on site.
This cabin features heated floors and a front porch with gorgeous views!
The Space:
This cozy cabin is the perfect place for basecamp before exploring Rocky Mountain National Park.
It has one comfortable Queen-sized bed as well as a sofa and a kitchenette.
Our kitchenette has a mini-gas stove, mini-fridge, dishes, utensils and all of the pots and pans you would need to create a delicious meal. You can have a seat at our dining table next to the window or sit under our covered front porch and enjoy the views.
The cabin has heated floors that are controlled by the thermostat! This radiant heat will make sure you wake up in comfort, even on those chilly Rocky Mountain nights. The fireplace has an electric insert to help warm the cabin and provide ambiance.
The living room area has a ceiling fan to keep the room cool ,as well as a window AC unit.
The bathroom has a full stand-in shower, and the heated floors are in here as well!

Guest Access:
Guests can access the entire cabin as well as our playground and communal spaces on the property. The main office is currently under construction.
The Neighborhood:
Fall River Road has access to Rocky Mountain National Park's north entrance and is lined on each side of the street with cabins and resorts. Even so, this area is in the remote Rocky Mountains and feels very secluded. We often have wild animals such as bear and elk on our property.
Getting Around:
The easiest way to get around is by car- you do not need 4WD to access our property. We provide free parking. We are only minutes from one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Our roads in Amberwood are paved and may be slick when it is icy or snowy. We do our best to keep them clear for you!
Other Things to Note:
We are in the wilderness of Colorado. There are bears, elk, deer, sheep and numerous other wild animals that also call the mountains home. Respect their space and do not keep any trash or food outside unattended. We have an animal proof dumpster on our property for any trash.
Interaction with Guests:
Please feel free to contact us at any time. You may see some of our housekeeping and maintenance crews around the property and we also have a property manager on site most of the time. Thank you!
Convenient location and very private. Highly recommend.
Great spot for a quick weekend getaway. Very close to downtown and RMNP Fall River Entrance. Cabin was comfortable for two people. The property was quiet and well maintained.
Beautiful setting. Very clean and everything needed for our stay. We did have a problem with getting key from lock box and could not get ahold of anyone to help us. The code they gave us did not work. We finally found a cleaning person. She tried and had a problem too. Finally we were able to get in. Other than that our stay was very nice. We would definitely stay again.
The listing had both queen and king bed in the description so it was confusing. I emailed the hostess to inquire and she said it was a king & apologized for the confusion. When we arrived…it was a QUEEN! If we had known we would not have booked. Hostess apologized and refunded us $350 when she could not move us to a king bed, but that didn’t even cover 2 nite’s rent. We slept miserably.
Our place, number 7, was a smaller but comfortable cabin. Very rustic and surprisingly quiet. Beautiful surroundings! We would definitely stay here again!
Property as advertised. There is a shuttle into EP, and RMNP a short drive.
We had a wonderful time. The cabin and amenities were exactly as described- very charming. The location was great. It was exactly what we were looking for. Thanks!
Cozy little cabin was perfect for 2 people. It was great being so close to town but far enough away from all the traffic. This was a great starting off point for RMNP. Would love to come back in the summer!
our studio cabin was the perfect home base for a much needed little 3-day mountain vacation. Thank: so much!
Great location and views, definitely would book again in the future. The location also has great staff and communication.
Great location. Comfy. Wish the water pressure was better, but great place to stay.
One of the reasons we chose the property is a review about the fireplace and how the staff left a bundle of wood on the porch every morning. It was very disappointing to receive a message the day of arrival that there would be no fireplace as pictured. Very sneaky to not list it as an amenity amd wait until the last minute to advise us. We would have stayed somewhere else had we known earlier. It was also a bit annoying to be asked to put away dishes and take out trash when we paid a good amount of money to stay.
Nice little spot near entrance of Rocky Mtn and downtown estes. Loved the heated floor feature, but were bummed that the fireplace wasn't able to be used. Note if you bring dogs here you cannot leave them in the cabin unattended, which made for some difficulty since this is not stated in the listing. Overall it was a nice cabin.
My wife and I and our two dogs had a delightful stay here and look forward to a return visit. It's a perfect accommodation for a stay to RMNP--a funky and primitive feel, but perfectly clean and with all the modern conveniences you'd find at a modern hotel. Great Place.
Enjoyed our stay. Jill and Iseral very helpful.
Cute lil cabin. We enjoyed seeing a elk just down the road from the cabin, we could see it from our front porch. The bed could use some upgrading. It was not that great. We found some pet hair on our things. Altho we don't have any pets. Those were the 2 things that were downers for us. Other wise a great place to stay. We really enjoyed hearing the stream across the road. And listening to the aspens jingle in the wind.
Jill was so helpful during our stay and the cabin was super cozy and perfect!
Neading a little quieter spot. Without the hussel and bussel of Estes Park Amberwood was the perfect spot. With sketchy wifi no TV and other unneeded bells and whistles. This place was clean , nice lil kitchen, spotless Bathroom and easy access to the RMNP and pet friendly. Will be happy to stay again.
Cabin was clean and in excellent condition. A little rustic for the price. It was great having the dog. Close to town and the Park
