We loved the cabin and had a great time! Loved the lodge and restaurant. Staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely be coming back next year. Here are the things we noticed that need attention. The fridge had no ice and no ice trays. There is no toaster. Not enough spoons. The upstairs bathroom sink backs up and doesn’t drain properly. Easy fixes…

Beautiful cabin but no views. Bed on main floor was old, worn out and creaky, needs to be replaced. The main floor bedroom had no room for suit cases or clothes, had to step over suitcases on the floor. Cob webs inside and out. Multiple lightbulbs out. It took until our last day to get help getting the TVs to work, the few staff on the property were pretty busy and unable to answer the phone when we had questions. It was quiet and peaceful in a beautiful setting but it needs repairs and updates.

We had a fun weekend exploring Shenandoah National park. Cabin had everything we needed. Great location and beautiful back porch for coffee in the morning. It’s a quick drive to Bearrr Apetit for Lunch or dinner.

We arrived at our first cabin, but the air wasn't working correctly. No fault of anyone, there had been a storm. I called to see what else was available and Josh and Lauren were amazing! Not only were they kind, and helpful, they personally went to the 3 Bears to make sure we had everything in place, and the air was working. They left us little gifts and gave us some more information about Lydia mountain. They were so amazing! The cabin was perfect, and very private which was what we had wanted. We enjoyed taking a walk and visiting the farm animals by the lodge.

I originally rented a different cabin. However, I had some physical limitations that made the original booking hard. The staff, Joshua was the gentleman who helped us, worked hard to accomodate us. This made our 30th wedding anniversary wonderful.

Fireplace was left uncleaned at arrival 4-5 inches of embers front to back and left to right in fireplace plus semi-burned logs. A few dishes still dirty in cabinets. Upstairs needed better floor sweeping (hair, etc), and the upstairs bathroom wasn’t up to cleanliness standards. The broom on first floor didn’t have a pan to collect debris. Staff responded promptly when I needed a fireplace broom to clean out the embers. Found replacements on site for everything needed, but cabin needs reinforcements in light bulbs. A few out with none to replace found. Pool cues were in poor shape. Had to have other family members bring some when they came to visit. Everything else was perfect, and we’ll be back. Thank you! Hope this feedback helps the overall experience for the renters to come.

We enjoyed our stay, cabin has cute layout, location is great however Poorly maintained. Could stand a deep clean. Queen bed could use mattress change, sagging in the middle. Hard to remain on ones side of the bed. Other than that we had a good time. Very quiet area. Lodge restaurant was really good too.

It was a nice cabin with more room than you would expect. The upstairs sink leaks to the back. They need good quality mattresses and box springs.

I wish i could give 5 stars for everything because we loved the cabin and the location. The cabin itself was not very clean at all. Lots of animal hair and dirt on the floors. We had a person allergic to cats and she had to take her inhaler multiple times being there. The hot tub was not full enough with water to enjoy. The pool sticks were all broke but one. The lodge was wonderful we had dinner and breakfast there while staying at the cabin and also got to meet Jumper the lovely dog on site. Everyone was super nice but the cabin itself needs some help.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lydia Mountain cabin. Great place to have our family get together. We all enjoyed the firework display, the staff made us feel like it was just for us personally. Great job!

This cabin needs some TLC. Everything is old and worn. It was very dirty and grimy. There were ants, roaches, and spiders everywhere. Carpenter bees are attacking the outside, so there is sawdust all over the porches. The location to the Pavilion was great for the wedding, and it has a good coffee maker. That’s all this cabin has to offer.

Much space for the size of cabin. Location was nice and close to lodge. Lots of room to share with family and friends.
