Cabin #1 - Fantasy Hideaway

Everything was very nice and services were provided promptly.

When we arrived, stove was dirty, fridge was dirty, dishwasher was full of dirty dishes that looked liked they had been there a while, deck, patio and hot tub were covered with leaves and pine needles, grill filled with moss, acorns and sticks. We live in the area and were able to get our leaf blower to clear up outside. We brought Clorox wipes, and used the entire container cleaning. The bathroom floor was also dirty. When we rented this cabin, we did not know we were going to have to clean before we could settle in. We arrived and planned to have dinner at the lodge, but restaurant was closed. We ate there second night, service was poor. I don’t think we will stay there again.

Enjoyed a nice three days here. Very comfortable and clean, hot tub is a plus. Quiet setting with wildlife. Only complaint is that more utensils, cookware and glasses might be helpful. But thoroughly enjoyed our time at this nice cabin!

For two busy tour guides in DC, this cabin provided the perfect weekend getaway. Super quiet, safe, peaceful setting. Well appointed in every aspect. Beds are so comfy, linens good quality. Coffee by our morning bonfire. We didn’t want to leave! But we’ll be back!

My husband and I chose to go to this cabin because we wanted to get away for our 20th anniversary and just relax. We specifically chose this cabin because it was secluded and included a hot tub. Once we got there the check in was easy, the space was beautiful and clean. There were not a ton of extras in the kitchen, but it was okay. We then tried the fireplace and it did not work, then we tried the hot tub and it didn't work. We called and was told someone would be there the next day, I had to call again. Needless to say they did take care of everything and made things right. We were able to enjoy the hot tub for one night. There are several minor things that need to be taken care of such as broken chair legs, carpenter bees eating the side of the house. Overall the weekend was very relaxing.

I was very happy with the cabin, all the amenities and the resort as a whole. Everything went very well and was wonderful. The only issue I found was there were a lot of flies up in the loft room area but once we turned down the ceiling fan went away and we were not bothered at night at all.

Loved this cabin, very nice and very clean.
