Brand New Lakefront Cabin with hot tub close to Ark Encounter

Everything was absolutely beautiful.it was quiet, cozy and perfect for our honeymoon! The TV near the hot tub was amazing!

The perfect place to unwind for a weekend while visiting family and celebrating our nephews graduation from EKU!

This cabin is so cozy and felt like home. We stayed here while we visited the Ark Encounter. We enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck with views of the lake.

Lovely equipped cabin, comfortable and cozy.

The cabin was clean and well provisioned. It is located at the end of about a half mile gravel road in a pretty remote area. It is a drive to get to restaurants or grocery stores. The host was very responsive to our questions. The hot tub was ok, the jets were not very strong. There are kayaks but limited access to the lake, only off the dock which would have been difficult for us. This was not exactly what we were expecting..

All was wonderful, very well maintainer, comfortable bed, relaxing by the lake. The gas grill was clean and worked wonderfully. We had a quick response for an air conditioning issue which was a simple problem with the remotes not all on the same mode.

If you want a lakeside off the beaten path log cabin rental that is stocked with the comforts of home and a hot tub look no further. Located between the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum to the north and the horse farms and Red River Gorge area to the south you can explore Kentucky as you choose or explore historic Georgetown and Williamstown shops and restaurants. The owners are very responsive to any questions or concerns you have. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin with excellent amenities. We enjoyed the peaceful lake view from the porch and amazing kitchen table. Welcome snacks were a nice touch. Great location for the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.

The view of the lake was so stunning! The cabin was so perfect for us. What a great kitchen! The beds were so comfortable. The recliner with a remote was just what nearly 80 year old lady could wish for. I’d definitely come back!

The lake view was magical! Prestine and quiet. The kitchen was equipped with basics, good dishes, most basic equipment such as mixing bowls, pans and utensils for cooking. There was dishwasher and hand soap.Ample towels for 2-4 guests.Very comfortable bedding and cozy reclining chairs.Wonderful hot tub.Neat to have one remote that worked both the inside living room TV and the TV out on the patio. The hosts were very reachable and exceptionally helpful. They understood every aspect of their cabin and were able to answer any questions we had.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The hot tub was clean and set at the perfect temperature. The host was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Such a nice cabin with gorgeous lake views. We’ve stayed in for cabins in six months and this was by far it favorite. The host was amazing and we will definitely be going back in the future.

The host went out of her way to make sure we could get out to her cabin with the heavy snowfall they recently experienced. She showed concern for our safety. The cabin was absolutely beautiful! It was wonderful.

Bed was comfy! Hot tub was clean and relaxing. Nice water view, quiet dead end area. It looks a little sketchy getting back to the property, I was worried. But it was nice and quiet once at property and close surrounding homes. Had internet issues but host took care of the quickly. Couch and chair in living room extremely comfortable, soft blankets and a few games made for a relaxing movie/ game night. Had boats and fishermen on the water while we were getting in hot tub. Lots of birds, chipmunks and squirrels to watch. Would come back if in the area again.

The pictures don’t it it justice. This place is absolutely amazing. Definitely exceeded any expectations I had before we arrived. The hot tub was a plus and was super clean. It was the perfect getaway! Neighborhood was quiet and private. I would highly recommend this property to everyone!!!

Beautiful, comfortable, and clean cabin on the lake. Very attentive host. Good proximity to Ark, Creation Museum, horse country, and Bourbon Distillery Trail. Highly recommend!

The cabin was wonderful. Our husbands loved fishing off the dock.We loved the grill and the hot tub, although we turned it down a bit. As hot as it has been we didn't need it set so high. It was very clean and had most everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Had plenty of linens and wonderful decor. There was one craçked glass in the cupboard. When we pulled it out to use ,there was a huge crack in it so I didn't want to just put it back and someone get cut on it, so I left it on the counter. The pillows could be better, and I would suggest a couple of hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes or a bathrobe. The neighborhood coming in is a bit sketchy but overall , a great place and I would recommend.

We stayed here for a few days while we visited the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. We enjoyed coming back to the cabin after a day of activities. We also enjoyed using the kayaks and appreciated the life jackets.

Enjoyed our stay. There were two things that weren’t ideal. 1)The location was a bit of a challenge but did appreciate the seclusion once we got to the location 2) The noise from the interstate traffic did seem a bit much when outside in the evening but didn’t seem to bother when we were on the inside.

The cabin is absolutely clean & beautiful! We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, the hot tub & relaxing with family. The cabin is very close to the Ark Encounter which we enjoyed immensely one day. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay & the host was a great communicator.

We had a great time at the cabin, the peacefulness and serenity of the lake. The cabin is super cute and clean with an awesome deck to watch beautiful sunsets from. We appreciated that each bedroom has a bathroom, as we are two married couples, in our 50’s and 70’s. It was perfect for us. The kayaks were an added bonus. It is very convenient to the Ark Encounter, the Creation Museum, antiquing, as well as Cincinnati. The best food in a cool setting was at Ford’s Garage in/near Cincinnati.

We had a great time in Kentucky. Went to the Ark Exhibit and Creation Museum. Also visited our granddaughter and her hubby. Property was one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in. 10 minutes to Ark. 45 minutes to Creation. 25 minutes to Lexington.

Cabin was clean and hosts were very responsive with any text message questions. As stated in other comments the area leading to the cabin was a little sketchy but once at the end of the road you are around 2 other nice cabins and another well kept home. We would definitely stay there again if we ever are pass through. Only 20 mins from the Ark encounter so very convenient if that is your destination.

This place is beautiful. Decorated great and very clean. My wife.and I will definitely be staying here again if were back in the arra.

My husband and I booked a long weekend here for our honeymoon and it was perfect!! Our host was very helpful, friendly and quick to respond. The cabin was beautiful and very nice quality. The views were amazing as well! The only things that we didn’t love was that there is a highway across the lake that you can hear clearly if you’re outside trying to relax, and there were ants all over the kitchen counters. But those things weren’t enough to really alter our trip at all. We had an amazing time and will definitely be booking again if we come back to Kentucky!

It was everything we expected. It was great to have separate spaces for us. The hot tub was a wonderful addition. Definitely would stay here again if ever in the area. No disappointment.

Beautiful cabin on the lake! Very clean and host was very helpful with finding it. Our GPS took us to the wrong destination and host stayed on the phone and gave us step by step directions! Beds were a little hard to get in. Maybe need to add a step stool and mattress was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. Could be that we are use to a king and it was at the best a full/queen? All in all we have a nice relaxing stay at the cabin!

Cabin was clean, nicely decorated, had everything we needed for our short stay. Host responded quickly to answer a question after check in.
