Boulder Pointe- fire pit, hot tub, incredible views!

My husband and I chose to get married here! We have a private, intimate ceremony with our immediate family and this spot was truly everything we could have dreamed of. The home was very clean, cozy and welcoming and the views blew our expectations out of the water. The hot tub was super clean and worked perfectly. The kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need to make a meal and we really enjoyed how well-decorated the place was. It housed everyone in our family (7 people total) comfortably. The boulders are breathtaking and easily accessible (although a VERY steep fall, so be careful on the edges) and my husband and I enjoyed our coffee from the boulder each morning. The fire pit is clean and the grill looked like it had never been used it was so clean. There was a neighbor cat (we named him Pete) who was the best addition to our stay. He was in our ceremony and in all of the wedding pictures and he is SO friendly but also respectful of you if you don't like cats haha. We really enjoyed having him around. The cabin is close enough to Mentone and Fort Payne that you still have stuff to do, but remote enough that you feel alone. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. 10/10!

This place had some breathtaking views everywhere you look and the trails out to the boulders were really cool. We had a great time and got some great pictures. It was just what we needed to relax and reset.

Mentone was very slow in early April but the place on top the mountain was perfect! We hit a few national parks and small towns in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. Love this area as it is a look back on America of yesterday.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay here with our little family celebrating my husband's 50th birthday! It was so relaxing. We enjoyed the view and hot tub the most! Overall it was very cozy and nice!If the renter would like some suggestions that I feel would go far, I would suggest (And my whole family felt this way) getting better mattresses for all the beds. They were super hard. Also, the coffee maker didn't work. Two things most people want is a comfy bed and coffee with such a beautiful view. Also, I cleaned up but that broom and dustpan are older than me. Just a few suggestions that I feel go a long way when it comes to a returning guest. Thank you for letting us stay!

We stayed here with our four children. The view is incredible. The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed playing the provided games with our children. The beds aren’t as bad as some of the other reviews make it seem but they are very firm. My husband actually loves firm beds so it didn’t bother him at all but I could totally see how someone used to a softer mattress would be uncomfortable. Only real negative was that the Keurig didn’t work but to their credit, we didn’t mention it while we were there. We went to Mentone market every morning and I just got coffee there.

My goal was to unplug for a couple days and this was a great spot to do that. Quiet and peaceful area with wonderful views. The house is clean and modern with everything needed for your stay. The hot tub was amazing after watching the beautiful sunsets.

The walkway to the front steps was hard to navigate.

The view was amazing. Price was reasonable. All the beds were so uncomfortable, and everyon agreed it was like sleeping on a brick! Overall a pleasant stay. As a safety concern I would address the steps leading to the cabin. Looks like it was missing one step, very unsafe. Thank you for having us and very happy pet friendly.

Delightful Retreats never disappoints us. The cabin is cozy quaint and is well equipped. The property has abundant acreage with boulders for climbing, rock cliff for viewing, and a hot tub for relaxing. My grandchildren loved this place and did not want to leave. The location is great as there are many places to hike or sight see just a short drive away.

Beautiful cozy home, great Mountain View! Located Just outside of the town of Mentone, AL. A small wonderful town with shops and a Market. Lots of places to go hiking, waterfalls. The home had everything we needed for a Christmas family weekend. Can’t wait to visit again!

The shower upstairs only had slightly warm water; all of the family as it turned out had to use the shower downstairs.

One morning we awoke above the clouds that were sitting low in the valley off the brow. It was awesome to watch the clouds burn off as the morning progressed!

We arrived for our stay and the cabin we initially had was having some A/C issues. We contacted Holly and within a few minutes she had us squared away with another place, it ABSOLUTELY DIDN'T DISAPPOINT at all. Boulder Pointe was absolutely wonderful, amazing views, peaceful . We are already talking about our return trip , highly recommend Delightful Retreats for your next stay. Thanks again Holly for our peaceful stay on our anniversary.

Wonderful property and view! Everything we needed was readily available. Property next door was closer than disclosed but ended up not being a problem. The dog absolutely loved the screened in porch. Would definetly come back!

We loved our stay at Boulder Pointe. The views were absolutely amazing. The cabin was very cozy and perfect for our family. The hot tub was such a nice treat looking out over the beautiful views. My husband and I, along with 5 of our adult friends and 2 dogs, spent the weekend here for my 57th birthday. The cabin was clean, cozy and perfectly accommodated our group. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, fireplace and cooking in the kitchen. The hot tub was great after our hiking trips in De Soto State Park, and the view of the sunsets every evening were amazing! We didn't have any issues or need anything else, but the host (Holly) kept in touch and was available if we did. Everyone had a great time and felt well rested. I would definitely recommend this cabin for any vacation getaway!

Boulder Point was the perfect place to gather family for Christmas! We all enjoyed everything about this cabin on the scenic brow!

We booked Boulder Pointe for a long weekend. The guys were participating in a race at Cloudland Canyon. The hot tub was so nice for them to soak in pre and post race. The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were soft and we all slept so hard. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook for the weekend. Loved that there was a Christmas tree to give it the holiday flare! We will definitely book again if we are in the area again!

The view was spectacular. The wildlife amazing. I counted 13 deer one morning alone around the cabin. The house was as advertised and we were comfortable (four adults and a 15 month old). All good. The bad was the number of spider webs everywhere. Inside and outside. We had to have a cleaning party before we could allow the baby access to the cabin or the back porch. On arrival the front porch and steps were covered with leaves. So much so, that I had to clear a path for us to be able to safely determine where the steps actually were. The garbage can was at the street and wasn't clear on if we were to leave it there or not. So I carried the garbage to the street each evening. Not that big of a deal except for the temperatures and the distance. Lastly, no fault of the owner, the next door neighbor's lawn care provider showed up Sunday mid-morning and for the next five hours had two blowers going none stop blowing leaves from their lawn. So much for peace and quiet.

My grown daughter, husband, furbaby and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boulder Point. The pretty cabin was comfortable, inviting, and pretty. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The property was filled with beautiful trees loaded with Fall colored leaves. The big back yard was level with the clouds! We spent hours sitting on the back porch looking at the valley, mountains and glorious sky filled with magnificent cloud formations! Sunsets were gorgeous! It truly felt heavenly!

Good things: 1. Beautiful western views 2. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher 3. Big TV and hot tub 4. Pet friendly 5. Good communication with booking agent Not so good: 1. Mattress is rock hard and uncomfortable. Bring a topper if you can. 2. Watch out for rattle snakes in the warmer months. About a 4 footer was basking in the sun on the driveway. 3. Scenic drive county road to cabin from Mentone is paved but heavily pot holed and patched. Don't advice a sports car with a stiff suspension.

Boulder pointe was perfect for our group. Plenty of space, great location, and the views were breathtaking.
