The property was as beautiful and peaceful as the pictures suggest, with spectacular sunrises over the bluffs. It's amazing to be able to walk or bike right to the Maah Dah Hey and access miles of Badlands trails within 15 minutes. The cabin itself was totally fine. The queen bed's mattress needs replacing as one side has a giant sag. And we really had to ration the hand soap and TP provided. I also recommend watching your step walking around the property as other guests were letting their dogs run and poop freely. But these are minor complaints and I'd happily stay again (though probably not in a season when the RV park is at full capacity, since some RV spots are right up against the cabins).
Wonderful location with nice views and perfect for a visit to TR National park, It was comfortable and quiet even w other camper units nearby. Would absolutely stay here again.
Quiet clean nice scenery
Was trouble with internet connection, but they were working on that, We all agreed that we would stay again,Very nice place to get away.
The perfect place to stay to explore Theodore Roosevelt National park and enjoy the medora musical!
We had a great stay and enjoyed the clean cabin. Very close to Medora. Very quiet.
Our stay was great. Plenty of room and close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Only complaints: the Wi-Fi was not at all reliable. Also the requirement to wash sheets and towels really interferes with our ability to hit the road as early as we wanted to.
We enjoyed our stay at the cowboy cabin!
Had a few issues checking in - Didn't know te cabins had #'s on them, which would have been helpful ahead ot time. However, once we got settled, we had a great time. Cabin was very nice and clean and had alot of amenities in it that were great. Overall, a very positive experience and would stay there again.
Well kept cabin in a great location!
Boots Camp is a prime location to access North West Dakota's outdoors activities.
The location had beautiful scenery and was very close to the Medora Musical and town. Saw several mule deer at the campground
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as-advertised. A very nice TV was connected to a cable which wasn’t: although “broadband” in capability, the bandwidth was severely taxed most of the time, making streaming of even native apps frustratingly impossible. It’s a good thing we didn’t really count on viewing TV during our getaway!
The cabin was the perfect size for our family and in the perfect location! Not too far from town but far enough for you to be able to get the camping feel. Brad was very helpful for check-in. We took a wrong turn and had a little mis hap and he was just a phone call away to help. Highly recommend this location.
Clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Front door has dead bolt but no strike plate about 1/4 inch gap. T.v. connection was terrible. A dirty rag in washer, which I forgot about, washed clothes and had dirt particles all over clothes, had to rewash at next property.
We had a very comfortable stay at Boots Campground. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had all items we needed.
The photo is very misleading, A more accurate photo would show campers and RVs in 80% of the image. the trailer home itself is not horrible, the ac was very good, and the bathroom was clean. and the location is convenient to TRNP. The view out the windows is the side of a camper and truck. After returning from a hike there was a funky odor near the middle of the trailer I looked out the window and saw the camper hook up. The bed caved in to the middle so sleep was tough. then signs in the trailer require towels and linens to be dried which differs from what s in the listing. We've stayed in more than a dozen condos and short-term rentals over the last 12 months and this is the first time I've had to leave this kind of review.
Nice
This location was an easy distance from town. We stayed here as a family of five and it was perfect. Great place to visit and would highly recommend.
There were a few broken things on the property however nothing that affected our stay. The dryer is slow so it was inconvenient they expect everything to be dried before you leave. The view was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.
The cabin was clean , comfortable and well furnished. The view of the hills from the porch was perfect while resting after long hikes in the park.
The camper-cabin was well outfitted and clean. The coffee pot worked and coffee was provided. All kitchen amenities. Plenty of blankets, sheets and towels. Quick hot water for the shower. Comfortable bed. The owner moved us to an adjacent camper on arrival as this was occupied. I've never had to wash sheets and towels, and take out trash before leaving a VRBO. Keep in mind as it slowed our departure waiting on the wash machine. The TV reception was non-existent. The thermostat did not work and the owner never did come by to check on it, thus no heat, a/c or air circulation. The campground rents sites to campers including right outside the bedroom of the standing cabins. Quote cozy, but awkward when you aren't acquainted. Feels like they are in your space. Noise could be a problem. Enjoyed the associated restaurant, Boots, in town; good food and service. Easy quick trip into town, only about 1 1/2 miles. Fun tiny town to walk around. TRNP is very close as well, and one of the national park hidden treasures.
Very comfortable
