Enjoyed our stay

This was the 3rd time weve rented this cabin. We love it. Its just a short easy walk to town but out away from the noise. We do miss the hot tub.

Comfortable beds, calming creek, and quiet area

The cabin was very clean and stocked with everything we needed for our trip. We enjoyed cooking dinners at the cabin and relaxing by the fireplace. Lots of activities nearby. Wonderful home and close walk into town!

Cute, clean, comfortable cabin within walking distance from downtown Helen. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. Property is private and secluded yet easy to walk to the attractions in Helen. Very clean. Highly recommend!

Very cozy inside, the back area was my favorite because of the stream. Lots of space to enjoy outside. Close to the main road in town.

OK, so the drive in through an industrial parking lot will raise the eyebrows, but... turn the corner into the driveway and the rest of the world disappears. The location is literally walking distance to N Main St but feels like it's in the middle of the woods. HUGE deck out back with lots of seating over the babbling creek. Great property and we expect to return!

We truly enjoyed staying at Black Bear Creek Cabin. Close enough to the downtown activities but also private. The outdoor firepit and indoor fireplace were perfect for chilly nights.

Our stay at Black Bear Creek was great! The cabin was a perfect size for our party of four, with room to spare. Very clean inside and the outdoor amenities were amazing. The location to Helen was nice and close, but far enough that we didn't hear town noise. Check in and out process worked smoothly, will definitly stay here again!

The property manager was super great to work with, very accommodating and responsive. Check in was easy, well equipped cabin. Enjoyed the fire pit and swing. Only thing we could say that could use some improvement is the flooring needs some reinforcing and some planks replaced, and although not completely needed as it's only about a 7 minute walk to town, some updated bicycles would be great. But overall a very nice cozy stay.

We love Black Bear Creek cabin & stay every year we come to Helen. Our favorite thing to do is sit outside on the deck surrounded by woods & listen to the tranquil creek. Blue Creek associates provide excellent service & support. The property is maintained well & always sparkling clean! I highly recommend staying with Blue Creek!

Easy walk into town, but still has the feel like you are out in the woods by yourself when at the cabin. Close to the Country store for any items you need to grab. My son loved doing a fire nightly in the fire pit.

Very memorable trip! Loved visiting Helen, the sounds of the creek from the cabin and the amenities. WIFI was spotty at best and if I wasn't tech-savvy, we would have been without internet a total of 3 times during the 4 night stay. Wish there was central heating and air but didnt lose any sleep over it and was comfortable. 1 roll of the provided toilet paper was barely enough for 2 people for 2 days. Cabin needs a larger skillet in the kitchen. Honest reviewer. The place was beautiful, secluded and serene. Communication was great. Will definitely return.

Beautiful Setting and very quiet

The biggest problem we experienced was the lack of comfort of the beds. I realized that fixing this issue would be very expensive to your budget, and being that it is a rental property, it would be costly to maintain quality beds and furniture. But we left a day earlier because our back pain. However, your people treated us very well and the grocery store a few blocks away was very helpful as well. The thing we enjoyed most about our time there was the creek that runs under the deck of the “Black Bear Creek Cabin” very tranquil, and relaxing. Thank you for that experience.

This place was amazing. Very kid friendly. We will be back.

Cabin is in a great location behind the Helen Fun Factory, we walked everywhere over the weekend. The creek running underneath the back porch is very relaxing. Love coming to Helen so will keep this cabin in mind for future visits!

This property was adequate. Things were a little worn (front door mat). The management team was great.

Walking distance to excellent German food

Literally the cutest little gingerbread inspired Christmas cabin in my opinion! Kids loved it back deck was phenomenal!

We went to see the fall leaves and the property was full of leaves all around - we literally could not see the ground. This was a great start to our weekend and my kids literally made piles of leaves and played in them. The road approaching the property is dark and could use some lighting. As far as inside the property goes, it was cozy, clean and comfortable. Since there is only one bathroom, we had to take turns to use it but not a deal breaker. The creek in the back yard was fully covered with leaves so we could not enjoy the water but next time we may try to visit again when the leaves are gone. We plan to visit this place again and plan to stay here longer. A true piece of heaven!! Thanks to the owner.

What a cute cabin! Our kiddos loved it and called it our gingerbread house. It’s a very walkable distance to downtown (about 10 minutes), which was perfect. The cabin had plenty of space for our 4 person family. The back deck was nice and big, plenty of seating. It’s tucked away from major roads and other cabins, so it’s very private. We loved the fireplace! We will definitely consider this cabin again for future trips to Helen.

The cabin location is beautiful. In the woods and lots of room. However, no instructions on the fireplace and the air conditioners needed cleaning before they would work. Place was clean, lots of dishes and towels and a nice walk to all the Helen Georgia events!

Close enough to the action of Octoberfest but felt like we were miles away. I loved the creek running under the back deck. We will be back again!

We booked this trip long before we knew of hurricane Helene. We decided to take the chance and head down from Kentucky anyway. The cabin we originally booked had no power, with no ETA on when it might. They graciously offered us a different cabin that did have power located closer to town. The cabin was clean, well maintained, and in walking distance to all the fun in Helen. We had a great time!! Thank you Blue Creek Cabins for working with us in a trying time and making our weekend getaway great!!

We stayed as a 3 day break on a road trip in the Deep South and then up to Washington DC. A welcome break in an interested mock Bavarian town. A great base to rest-up and relax and super-peaceful, but for the incredible sounds of nature. An unbelievably short walk into town which was great as parking in the evening looked challenging.

We booked for a week and left after just 3 days. When we walked inside the cabin it was literally dripping inside. Foul musty mildew smell. We tried getting rid of the dampness with A/C but that was no good. Manager said that she would see what she could do but never heard back from her again. She claims that the owner stayed in the cabin the week before we were there and noticed nothing. That is hard to believe. No refund, no apologies, no communication at all. I would NOT recommend!!!
