Big Bear Hideaway Resort Cabin #1 in St Germain is a newly constructed 2-bedroom log cabin located on the St Germain River with access to Pickerel Lake. This unique cabin has all the modern amenities along with the traditional northwoods log cabin appeal.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024Beautiful cabin with beautiful scenery! I didn’t want to leave! Everything was so nice and the beds were very comfortable and I slept wonderfully! I would love to return again to stay and hopefully longer! I do have one suggestion…a light on your sign at the entrance so we can see where to turn off of 70 in the dark. Thank you again!

Stayed Feb 5, 2026Cabin is beautiful. So clean and cozy. The owner was on site to answer any questions we had. The snowmobile trail is literally across the road and there’s ample parking for trailers/sleds. The area has tons of trails, and they are taken care of so well. Don’t forget your towels though! We will definitely be back if we take a snowmobile trip again.

Stayed Sep 25, 2025We use VRBO often and this rental was one of the best we’ve stayed in. Beautiful inside and peaceful! We took daily bike rides with the bike trails so close. Can’t wait to return.Hosts were awesome and made sure we had what we needed for our 4 day stay.
