House is beautifully located on lake. Easy to access Estes or RMNP. Our daughter was married in Estes and the porch was absolutely perfect to gather as a family and relax on the lake. Highly recommend.

Our family especially enjoyed the amazing views from the deck. There was enough space in the living room and dining area for all of us to be together. The location was great, but the driveway was a little steep for us at first. An added feature that we weren’t expecting was that the home is now air conditioned. My biggest concern was the communication. It took several emails to get information about the check-in process, and when I called the number listed for the property manager about something that was broken, I never heard back after making two calls over three days. In spite of some concerns, this was a great stay for us in a lovely area.

This was a perfect place to stay to celebrate 3 of our daughters graduating college with varying degrees. We had a great time fishing, hiking, and trying out the mountain coaster! Great times for all ages.

1. Very difficult to work with agent. We didn't know key-pad # until we were leaving our house that morning.2. Told there would be extra blankets...there were not. 3. When we entered the kitchen we found one of the under-sink cupboards' door was hanging by 1 hinge. We ended up fixing it.4. Drawers in refrigerator fell apart 5. A skillet needs to be thrown away. 6.Top shelf of dishwasher is broken and kept falling down.,7. The downstairs bathroom door did not lock.8. Two of the downstairs bedrooms had no furniture. There was no place to put or hang clothes or personal items.9. One of the children sleeping in the bunk beds got splinters all over her and she ended up being pretty uncomfortable.11. The barbeque was so filthy we couldn't use it like it was. We had to use mats to cook on.12. The carpeting was unclean! 13. The windows were filthy and obstructed the view of that beautiful lake and mountains.14. There is trash and junk all around the building. The downstairs patio has weeds growing all around.15. But the worst problem of all is the deck itself. Our 3 year-old grandson ran out onto it and immediately got dozens of splinters. Very painful for him. Plus railing is loose and definitely a hazard and someone could get hurt . I would never recommend this place. Everything is fixable. What a shame.

The property location is absolutely Beautiful! The property itself needs some TLC as there were several maintenance issues that need to be addressed! The bones of the property was absolutely Beautiful and once it is renovated and maintenance is done, I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice house, great view, had wild life walking through the yard.

We arrived at the house surprised to see that one of the showers was taped off and we did not have many towels out. With 4 daughters....we might be in for a challenging week. I called the owner, he was equally surprised as well and within an hour someone was out to finish the work and grab a few towels. We enjoyed the location (great view and we spent a lot of time on the deck). While the house shows it's age. They are making improvements to the place (including with a recent AC installation, and remodeled downstairs bathroom), but it worked fine for our large family. We were close to downtown Estes Park but felt outside the crowded areas. We also enjoyed the trail and proximity to the marina and horse stables. Not everything is ever perfect, but I appreciate the responsiveness of the owner. Just a couple of things to keep in mind, the driveway is steep and relatively narrow, with 3 cars, we found it easier to park up top (or across the street in the dirt turnout). All in all a great trip and would recommend.
