Beautiful Downeast Maine Oceanfront Cabin near Acadia National Park

Perfect Coastal Get Away!Beautiful, spotless cabin with everything you could need. Stunning sunrises, cozy fireplaces inside and out, and peaceful views of the fishermen each morning. Bob was a fantastic, responsive host. We can’t wait to come back!

Property was exactly as explained. The location was quiet. The home was clean and neat. One reason we chose this property was the fireplace. The homeowner provided wood, which was a wonderful bonus. We had fire in the fireplace 4 nights of our week stay in September. We had a wonderful time.

This Gouldsboro home was all we had hoped for and more. Right on the water and plenty of beautiful places to explore including several beautiful short hikes and access to Acadia via Winter Harbor ferry. Drove to Campobello one day. A long drive, but well worth it.

Wonderful anniversary week in ideally situated lodgings. Well appointed house, comfortable bed and views of Gouldsboro Bay out to Petit Manan Light that tempt you not to move!Used the outdoor lobster cooker and grill. Highly recommend.

We loved our week here! My kids (ages 9, 11, 14) spent hours playing on the rocks and we could join them, watch from the deck with a book, or sit by the fire. We spent 2 days hiking/beach in Acadia - about an hour drive. It’s beautiful there, but so busy. We visited schoodic peninsula twice- beautiful and not busy at all. We went to winter harbor a couple of times and loved the 5and 10 store. We went to Ellsworth for groceries. We ate out at the chorea wharf, Travelin lobster (mt. Desert island), Helen’s in Ellsworth. All were delicious. We bought live lobster from chorea lobster wharf. The house was clean and welcoming, well organized and set up. Well supplied with paper products and soap. We used the binoculars from the deck everyday to watch lobster boats. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Plenty of brochures, travel books, and magazines to help plan. A shelf of novels, some children’s books my kids enjoyed.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Peaceful and great location. The house and amenities were just as the owner described.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the cabin! It was fun and relaxing, a perfect take off point for enjoying Acadia and exploring the Down East coastline. We loved listening to the gentle waves and watching dolphins play in the bay in front of the cabin. A perfect spot for families with young children!

The cabin was perfect for our week-long vacation in Maine. Located right on Goldsboro Bay, we were welcomed each morning by a glorious sunrise, lobster boats heading, and birds feeding. The cabin is cozy and well-maintained, with a newly renovated kitchen and second-floor half-bath. A deck and second-floor balcony offer opportunities to enjoy views of the bay. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning next year.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The property has incredible scenery and far enough away from any city lights to admire the stars. Sunrises were amazing. Also, Bob sent us a map of things to do which was awesome of him to do!! Thanks again Bob!
