Stayed Dec 21, 2025This is a great cabin in both location and privacy. Even though you can see other cabins near by you feel like you have your own private woods. The location near the town of Helen is great. It is a couple of minute drive or a 15 minute walk into town. The accommodations are perfect for a large family or two small families. The kids loved the bunk room that is on the same level as the game room. The game room is great for keeping the kids entertained and the upstairs living room is nice for the adults. Having the place decorated for Christmas was a plus. Also, the fire pit is great.

Stayed Nov 28, 2025My wife and I along with her two sisters and their husbands stayed in the Bear Crossing cabin for our annual Sister Christmas. It was the perfect place. Each couple not only had their own bedroom but their own bathroom. The Bear Crossing folks were very friendly and made a special effort to make sure there was a Christmas tree and decorations since we were checking in the day after thanksgiving. It was the perfect location. Up in the woods where you felt you were in the mountains, yet only a few minutes from downtown Helen. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Nov 19, 2025House was very clean and decorated nice for the holidays. Music was playing and it smelled great inside, with some wine and important information on the counter. Great location to get to downtown Helen, but far enough away that we didn’t have to fight any downtown traffic. This cabin was great and perfect for two families with kids 8 and 13.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025To celebrate a milestone birthday, we decided to head to the mountains of Georgia to check out a little town called Helen. This cabin had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend and keep us all entertained! The bedrooms are spacious and each has a bathroom close by, which is a must. The living space upstairs is open with soaring ceilings, and the downstairs game room was a lot of fun. Each morning, I enjoyed drinking my coffee outside on one of the many decks. This cabin is a gem. Definitely recommend for families or friends traveling together!

Stayed Aug 15, 2025The cabin is close to everything but still secluded. It's nice and fully furnished. The driveway is a little bit rough but with the recent heavy rains it is to be expected. Loved it here and would stay again!

Stayed Jul 26, 2025My boyfriend and I stayed at this cozy cabin a few weeks ago and fell in love! It was very clean and the owners even left wine and chocolates for us! Downstairs is an awesome game room with a pool table, air hockey table, and ski ball machine. It also includes another bedroom and bathroom for a separate place for other guests. It is less than a mile into town with so many fun bars and incredible restaurants, yet you feel like you’re miles away from the city. If you’re coming to Helen, GA this is definitely the place to stay!

Stayed Jun 24, 2025We enjoyed this location. We spent a lot of morning and evenings at the house and explored and adventured during the day. Our kids enjoyed the game room below and we as adults enjoyed how spacious the house was and how close it was to the things we wanted to do.

Stayed May 14, 2025We found the cabin to be very comfortable and charming, with everything needed for a family vacation. From the fully equipped kitchen, game room, hot tub and washer/dryer, we had everything we wanted for this trip. Surrounded by trees and nature made it all the more appealing. It’s also conveniently close to town, stores, restaurants and shopping. We’d rent this cabin again!

Stayed Apr 17, 2025We had a great time staying in Helen, GA! There’s so much to do in the area. We hiked to Dukes Creek Falls, rode the alpine coaster, went zip-lining, went tubing, and ate at several fun restaurants. We were two families staying in Bear Crossing cabin. It’s a great cabin and the game room area is perfect for the kids. The only big downsides are the carpets in the cabin and the Adirondack chairs outside could both use some updating. The pool table is in rough shape too, but the kids still enjoyed it. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay there and the cabin is in a perfect location to get to/from all that Helen has to offer. The closest major grocery store seems to be Ingles and it’s around 7 miles away so grab groceries on your way in (you’ll need to bring your own toilet paper and paper towels). We were too dumb to figure out the smart thermostat and the management company was super responsive and had someone out to help us right away. We were super impressed!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We LOVED this cabin, especially the hot tub in the screened porch and the firepit! It is in a very peaceful location in a cul-de-sac in the woods. The location is close to town by car, and is technically walkable but you should know that it's a very steep hilly road; takes about 25 minutes to walk. The game room downstairs in the basement is an amazing add on, especially with the kids room and bathroom - PLUS the bar area. It's also nice to have this area very easily accessed by the firepit area. The living room is very cozy with the fireplace. About a 40 min drive north is Brasstown Bald; a must see if you visit this cabin. Highly recommend this place!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Helen is a gorgeous town, and the cabin was perfect for our needs. Our children loved playing with in the game room downstairs, which left the hot tub to the adults! Could not have planned it better if I tried! The very steep driveway made my children think they were on a rollercoaster, but nothing too scary. The cabin is secluded and peaceful which is exactly what was needed.
