BASS ROCK AND BELHAVEN BAY PODS
Our two glamping pods are well appointed luxury spaces situated in deliberately slightly wild gardens with stunning views weather permitting. Made in wood, they have wall and underfloor heating ensuring a cosy warm space, a kitchenette, sitting/dining/sleeping areas - and an ensuite shower with flush toilet.

The living areas face out onto open countryside, with fantastic vistas over fields, hills, and the North Sea and Firth of Forth, including Bass Rock and the Isle of May. Outside is a patio area, a chimenea to sit around and keep warm whilst taking in one of the remarkable sunsets, and a BBQ.

THE KENNELS COTTAGE
The mid-Victorian era Kennels were renovated in the early 2020s, making them suitable for both humans and dogs. There are two bedrooms, one ensuite, as well as a kitchen/living room with a wood-burning stove. The underfloor heating keeps them cosy, like the Pods, and there are small garden areas to the front and sides, which were previously outside runs for the dogs. At some point, the Kennels were also a sheep pen - so you would be amongst the first humans ever to occupy this building. EPC rating C.

The Pods and The Kennels Cottage are about 150 metres apart (so a large family would be able to see each other easily, as well as having their own individual spaces), and there are walks into the lovely surrounding countryside immediately from the grounds.

We do have some home produce from our smallholding, which you are welcome to purchase when available - including eggs and chutneys and occasionally in-season vegetables, honey and meat.

Had a great 3-night stay in the Bass Rock pod and friends in the Belhaven. Spent the first evening outside the Bass Rock pod (larger outside seating area) listening to the thunder and watching the lightening and the view to the sea, Bass rock and Berwick Law. What a start to a great break. Even though situated in peaceful countryside Dunbar is only 10 minutes' drive. The bed is super comfortable and enough storage space for clothes. Highland Soap bathroom toiletries a touch of luxury.

We (2 adults and 2 young children - age 1 and 3) stayed for 7 days in Bass Rock Pod during the May half term, and during the Jubilee celebrations, it was a fabulous trip. Clemency and Lennox were amazing hosts, we had a very memorable tour of the smallholding, they were always on hand if needed and a pleasure to stay with. Their produce was lovely and we ate a lot of eggs which were yummo!

We celebrated our anniversary by staying with Eco Indigo in the Bass Rock pod. We were delighted with the accommodation, and found it very comfortable. The views we got each morning were brilliant whilst having a lie in. The pod is a short drive from Dunbar for shops and restaurants, so very ideal. Clemency was lovely in making sure we got there safely and to get in touch if we needed anything.
