Very beautiful view with a Texas coziness. Tom and Kathy were very gracious. It got super dark, so I'm glad we brought flashlights. The incinerating toilet was a first, but only added to the adventure.

Cute cabin overlooking the hill country! We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. The area is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the shower works well but the owners will tell you that hot water is limited. We had enough time to shower but you don't want to linger. The incinerator toilet is interesting but works just fine.

I booked this cabin to stay in as I attended my nephew’s wedding. The inside of the cabin was very nice. A western motive fit well with a hillside cabin. Unfortunately,, that is the only thing that I can say that was positive about the experience. When asking about the cabin and access to it, I was told that I would be able to drive up right to the cabin. I believe that can be done IF you have a truck or a jeep! I was able to get it up once but it was very treacherous and scary since I was worried that I may be damaging my engine or my tires getting up there! I was told that I could park my car in the driveway since the other cabin wasn’t being used that weekend. Not being able to drive my car up to the cabin, was very inconvenient since I was going back-and-forth from the cabin doing things to help with my nephew‘s wedding! I ended up parking on the driveway and walking up to the cabin every time I left, I would’ve liked to have known ahead of time that it was going to not be accessible so I could have made other arrangements. The grass in the area was very overgrown and needed cutting. The description of the “kitchenette” was also a little misleading. The description said there was a toaster oven available, it was not which again was inconvenient as I brought food that we could cook in it. The toilet was very intimidating and took a bit of time to get used to!I wish the stay would have been more enjoyable! Maybe with a little work it can for the next person!

This was the first time I’ve ever used vrbo or any type of online house booking. Usually just stay at hotels. But they made this the best experience. Super friendly people and the place was amazing. Looked just like the pictures. I’ll definitely be staying with them again

Very peaceful and quiet cabin close to Ingram and Kerrville. Nice, welcoming hosts. Property does need some landscaping help with overgrown driveway and walkway to cabin. Also has an unconventional toilet some people may not be comfortable with. But overall it is a good value for the money.

Very nice personal touches. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay very nice. It was my Birthday weekend and they even bought me a gift. They had homemade baked muffins that were so delicious. We felt right at home. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the city but, to be conveniently located to the nearby towns. This is a hidden gem, and the owners are very sweet.

The little cabin was set on the side of the hill looking out onto beautiful views. Inside the cabin is just another reflection of the hill country with its decor. I loved the porch for early morning sunrises and late night sitting. The hosts are the most hospitable people you will find and have tons or recs on things to do. Enjoyed our stay!

This place is phenomenal! They were so accommodating and kind, we got in way later than we expected and they waited up for us to get there to welcome us. We got the full low down on everything in town, places to go and a run down of the cabin. We got our first experience with an incinerating toilet! I love new experiences so we were all about it. This place is close to everything and only 30 minutes from anything you wanna do! It was clean, comfortable and inviting to stay in. We loved the cool mornings and sun coming up and the hosts! Super cool, relaxing stay! We will see you guys again!
