The host is very helpful and answered questions promptly. The cabin was amazing. It was very close to town and not too far from Denver but once on the property you would think you were in the country. It is well stocked with all you need. We loved the creek, the sitting areas outside, the family friendly layout inside.Highly recommend!

Host was very nice and we loved the property and would stay again. The advertisement said there was a gas grill but a new county ordinance prevented them from letting us use it. Also, the internet and landline were out and there was no cell phone reception which was a little I settling.Idaho Springs had a great little coffee shop and pizza place and a nice little downtown.

Excellent location. Plenty of space for four adults. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for cooking and baking. The hiking trail out the back was beautiful. Close to good ski options.

All of it was just wonderful! The house was beautiful, it had so many lovely features and everything we needed. The front porch was the best place for 6 30 a.m. coffee with my friend. The place down but he creek was beautiful; but it was rainy so we did not get to enjoy it. The big table was perfect for game and card playing, and bathrooms {2} were more than accommodating. The decor throughout and even the books were all perfect! The host was very good about what ws expected, and very good about letting us know. And, the housekeeper was a joy to meet! She was very friendly, and we enjoyed her as well.We were from Salt Lake City and North Platte, Nebraska. We would definitely stay again! Our stay was more than memorable and we all thank you so very much!

Great location, great house, great outdoors but it definitely needs cleaning inside the house.

This house is gorgeous and quite special. It is FULLY equipped and so comfortable. The creek in front is beautiful. I just might say that it is right on a fairly busy road so it's not very quiet due to lots of car/truck noise. In spite of that, I would definitely stay there again!

We love this cabin. It's in a great location. The information needs updating. There is no longer a grill and check-out time is listed as 10 in some places and 11 in others.

The home was very clean, plenty spacious, and it was very well equipped with anything we needed. I am a huge over packer so it was nice having all the amenities of home! I do wish we would have known beforehand that we would be unable to use the grill and fire pit but this is understandable as it is the dry season in the mountains

The cabin was so comfortable, inside and out. Everything we needed was there, for cooking and just chilling. Being close enough to town was handy. From the front porch it was fun to watch the few passing cars and motorcycles---backed by an impressive stone canyon wall---with sounds masked by the flowing Chicago Creek. The back deck is a peaceful spot to enjoy a verdant canyon wall. But we equally enjoyed the artwork, books and design elements of this wonderful log cabin.

We really enjoyed the relaxing cabin. The property and creek were great; easy to get into town. We would definitely come back when in the area.

This cabin was perfect! Secluded, but close to town also. Beautiful Creek in front and a hiking trail out back! The house was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! The only downside is that there was a fire ban, so we couldn’t grill or use the fire pit. So, I would recommend checking on that if you plan to stay here. Otherwise, it was an awesome cabin!

Great private cabin on the creek and in nature.. Nice place to stay if you want to go rafting as Clear Creek drop in is just up the road. It was about 1 hour to the airport. Cabin was clean and well stocked.

Overall the cabin was nice and located close to town.. They needed to spend more time cleaning the cabin, but we had everything we needed for our stay..

Our stay was great, but afterwards my card was ran withouth permission for an extra 60.00 to wash the blanket from my sons bed as he wet the bed. Before checking out, we washed all the sheets from every bed as well as all the towels and dishes. I assumed they wash all the big blankets between guest anyways so did not wash the blanket. Apparently they do not which is disgusting. I would not stay here again knowing they do not wash everything between guest. Very unsanitary.

Beautiful cabin with no neighbors to enjoy a peaceful vacation. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and great communication from the host.

Our vacation in Colorado was amazing mainly due to this cabin. The cabin and its location was so perfect. We planned the trip around a concert at red rocks. It was only about 30 minutes away. The airport was about an hour away. The town of Idaho springs was precious! Shops, restaurants, mineral hot springs, white water rafting and hikes were all close by. To top it off, the Chicago creek runs right in front of the cabin. Gorgeous! We are having a hard time sleeping at home now without the sound of that creek! We miss it! This cabin is one of those rare VRBO’s that is actually better than advertised. We loved everything about it and hope to return!

Beautiful place, comfortable beds, close to Idaho Springs but feels a million miles away.

This is an absolutely beautiful VRBO - the nicest one we have ever stayed in. it was beautifully furnished with very comfortabl beds. It was also supplied with about anything we could possibly need and was very clean and comfortable. The view from the front deck was amazing and we spent a number of hours each day there just relaxing. It also has a beautiful area down near the creek, but the water was flowing high and it was very noisy so we chose the deck instead. It is a beautiful place and anyone would enjoy a stay there. We would highly recommend it and hope to maybe be able return.

Our stay at the cabin was amazing. It was peaceful and beautiful and all we hoped it would be. We celebrated 2 birthdays and had fun exploring the property, relaxing by the creek and playing games in rain. We loved it and will come back for sure! The cabin had everything we would ever need and it was clean and very comfortable. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was clean and well furnished. The location was great. We especially enjoyed the creek than runs directly in front of the cabin.

The cabin is spacious and has a great vibe. The creek in front of the house is so pretty and you can hear it from jnside the house. There's a trail right outside the backyard that takes you up the mountain for incredible views. I love this place and would efinitely stay here again!

Cabin was as advertised and in a great location! Enjoyed the creek and were able to hike close by..enjoyed Echo Lake for a hike and spent some time in Black Hawk. Great place and will definitely come back and stay again!

After a family member got married in Golden, we decided to spend a few more days and travel the Rockies. This cabin was an excellent place to start every morning & end every day. Also the best equipped VRBO we have ever stayed at. Very private!

Arrived to a beautiful, clean and well-maintained Colorado mountain spot but we soon came to find out that on this property there are more do's than don'ts. Outdoor cameras made us feel uncomfortable as they were being observed while we were occupying the residence. Our family was excited to light up the chimenea near the serene, snow-covered flowing creek especially after reading all the reviews about how quaint and outdoorsy the fire was - a complete Colorado experience. But unfortunately, there was a tin cap locking out any wood from entering the opening up with a note that the county had a fire ban in place. After calling the Clear Creek county sheriffs office and finding out there was no fire ban, the owner told us it was the short-term rental (STR) arm of the county that disallowed outside visitors of rental property from lighting fires of any sort outdoors, including the gas grill. As pretty as the property was, as well-appointed and comfy the inside of the home was, there were too many distractions that took away from the experience you'd expect from renting a mountain cabin.

This is a nice little cabin along the river. The cabin had everything you could need (and more) in terms of the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. We brought and played lots of games by the fireplace on the very cold weekend we were there. We skiied Loveland, which is about a half hour away. We did some snowshoeing and went up and hiked in our snow gear around Echo Lake.

The family had a lovely time.

This cabin is the most beautiful property and completely picturesque for the perfect Colorado mountain stay. It is not far from anything, but feels secluded. It has everything you need and more! The minute we walked in, we started planning our next trip! Thank you so much!

This is our second stay at the Arapaho Cliffs cabin. It's perfect for a getaway from the hustle-bustle of Denver's city life. We love the comfy, cozy and clean cabin, and the river flowing outside the door is extra nice. We enjoyed hanging out by the river and watching deer in the meadow. Our family enjoyed lots of activities around the area including exploring the shops and restaurants in Idaho Springs, the Georgetown Loop train ride and hiking near Echo Lake. We will, without a doubt, enjoy a stay at Arapaho Cliffs cabin again.

Beautiful property but could have better markings at the end of the driveway to help find where to turn especially at night.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was so refreshing to return to the cabin after our daily adventures. Beautiful cabin right next to the creek. Cabin was well maintained and had everything we needed.

We were an extended family of six and stayed for three days. This is a beautifully decorated rustic home with all of the modern amenities. The beds were comfortable. There were two bedrooms on the first floor, so my mother never had to climb stairs other than the two or three to the deck. The sound of the stream out front was very nice, although some of the time it was hard to hear during peak traffic times or when the motorcycles were screaming down the canyon road out front. Too close to the road to feel out in the country but the fishing directly in front of the home was very nice. Just caught little ones, but my family and I enjoyed it nonetheless. The property backed up against trees and the mountain and across the river/stream was the road and then the canyon wall (very close). The view was not amazing, but it was not horrible either. We did not attempt the trail behind the cabin as my son said it was very overgrown (which the host told us in the extensive information in the home). But, all around the home are various edible and medicinal plants my mother truly enjoyed leisurely walking around the yard to examine. And we never saw another person. The canyon road this cabin is on is a bit junky with what appear to be defunct trucks/trailers dotted along it. Recommend Idaho Springs do something about that. But when you cross that little bridge to the cabin or when you explore Mount Blue Sky, you forget all about it. Stay here. We plan to go back and enjoy it again.

What a wonderful place!!! We spent so much time just hiking around the property and lounging by the creek. It was perfect and we did NOT want to leave. It was a quick 10 minute drive to Echo Lake for hiking and a picnic. We would LOVE to come back!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is the perfect get away. This is our second stay. We come from a big city so we want to get away but also like the convenience of city life and the amenities. This place provides exactly that. And perfectly located between city and nature activities.

It’s hard to believe this place is as close to Denver as it is. On a relatively quiet street, with lots of creek noise to cover any road sounds. Great setup inside, plenty of space, and lots to do nearby. We are longtime Colorado residents and really enjoyed our stay here!
