Overall a wonderful stay. Plenty of hiking around and an easy hike to the creek. The cabin was wonderful and very comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic as even though its warmer this time of year the evenings still get down to a perfect temp for a quick dip. The fire pit on the balcony was also great during the evening while listening to all the sounds the area has to offer. And roasting a few marsmellows! The beds were very comfortable and clean and as someone who generally takes a few days to truly settle in when it comes to sleeping, I had no troubles here even on the forst night. Communication overall was also great as everything we needed to know was communicated to us in advance. Its definitely a stay we would do again!

This property is absolutely lovely inside and out! So clean and comfortable. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. The owners are incredibly kind, as well as professional and communicative. Perfect VRBO hosts.

The hot tub was nice and hot. Everything felt lovely and whimsical. The perfect balance of nature, cabin and everything that you need. Loved that we could walk to the creek and take our son fishing. Thank you!

This place was great. Really nice woodsy feel to the home and properly. Everything was clean, comfortable beds and furniture, kitchen had all we needed. Nice decor throughout. Water is drinkable from the tap. Nice appliances. Multiple coffee options were nice. The hot tub was a highlight, perfect temperature when we got there, and secluded area made it private and peaceful. We had morning coffee in the hot tub. The outdoor lighting and decor gave a rustic mountain feel. The deck was a great spot to enjoy the coolness of the woods and hear the creek. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Hiking the creek to the falls is a must. We would recommend this place for a couple, 2 couples, or a family. Stairs were gradual, but the indoor spiral stairs are steep. This place is a great, relaxing escape. Would definitely go again.

This was our second straight Labor Day weekend spent at Applecross Chalet and we enjoyed this visit even more than the last one. The owner has made some nice upgrades to the kitchen, living room, and downstairs bedroom areas, so what was a lovely house is now absolutely fantastic. The property is well maintained—the deck and hot tub are great—and it is closely situated to some nice creek side trails and horseback riding, as well as a couple restaurants that we really enjoyed. The owner was a pleasure to work with and the checkout routine was very simple. We had a wonderful stay!

My fiancé and I had an absolute wonderful time at this cozy cabin! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were able to cook indoors and out on the grill every night.
