American Hollow: Pet friendly + private couples cabin w/hot tub in Hocking Hills

This was a new property so it was not easy to find. Once we found the property (which took three hours), the key was in a lock box by the door. We could not get the lock box open, so we had to call the Manager who came out and unlocked the door for us. He did show me how to open the box, but it was not easy, even when we left. Other than those two obstacles, our stay was very pleasant. It rained the entire first day, but we got into our hot tub and took our dogs for a nice walk. All in all, it was a great honeymoon! We are looking forward to going back there next year! Thank you very much!

Property was close to state park. Quiet and private. Loved hot tub amenity.

COZY is the word that came to mind immediately as I walked through the door! Absolutely clean and BEAUTIFUL cabin with all the necessary amenities to make any stay memorable! Would love to book again and stay in the very same cabin! Thank you!

Finding the cabin was our first hurdle. Directions were great getting to the property but then were a bit confusing when going from the road back to the cabin area. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities but the oven did not get hot to heat up pizza that we had picked up in Logan 30 minutes away. Hot tub was very relaxing. Make sure you take drinking water. Terrible hard stinky water. That was probably the biggest thing for us was the water. Otherwise very relaxing atmosphere at American Hollow cabin.

This day was great. This is the first time we’ve ever traveled with our pet. It was nice to have a great place to stay with our little dog. We did not use the hot tub. The cabin was private and it was nice to have the fire pit set off toward the back of the house.

The hot tub was clean, warm qnd welcoming after a long day of hiking. Fantastic stay.

Property was quaint, quiet and secluded compared to other cabins on the property. Property had everything we needed during our weekend stay.

Perfect cabin for a couple just looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. Private fire pit and hot tub were a hit.

Difficult to find initially with little to no cell service. Gps is not accurate at all. Management was prompt in responding once we had service. Property was newly acquired and needed some TLC but the hot tub was nice. I forgot my toiletry bag on the bathroom door and they were very responsive in returning it toMe in good condition.

Great secluded location

Interior so so. Dirty bedspread. Old vanity loosing side skin and dirty. Flooring has issues of deterioration in areas. Outside railing is a safety issue. Wasps nesting above hot tub. Deteriorated wood around hot tub roofed area. Rodents running in ceiling area. Scratching like nesting. I'm sorry but I wouldn't rent it again.

Beautiful location! Very quiet and 100% as advertised. Great place to spend a few day's and recharge!

We booked American Hollow in 2022 and enjoyed it so much we chose to stay here again in 2024. Shortly after booking we were notified that the American Hollow would be unavailable due to renovations, however the host gave multiple options including staying in one of their other properties for no additional charge or a full refund. We chose to stay at the Lakota which was also great!

Off the beaten path. Nice to be away from civilization for a weekend!

Beautiful area, great cabin! Communication was awesome as I misunderstood the email. They were prompt in answering questions. This cabin really has everything you need. We hope to stay again soon! Thanks so much!
