Stayed Apr 26, 2021Overall, the property is not bad. It can sleep up to 10 people, we only had 4. 1 small crowded bathroom only, so more than 4 people could be a problem. Lights were really dimmed making it difficult to cook and eat after sunset. Only 1 roll of toilet paper was provided for 4 days, 4 people. No paper towel was provided. No dishwasher. There was a spot, near the stove and dish shelves, when walking over makes rattling sound waking people up in the morning. No outside trash cans were available, we had to drive about 1/4 mile to dump trash.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025We had a wonderful stay at this chalet in Yosemite! It was spacious, very clean, and full of charm. The old-fashioned oven and kitchen sink area gave it character while working perfectly for our needs. Evenings were cozy. Our kids learned to play Rummikub for the first time, which made for some great memories. We’d definitely stay here again!

Stayed Sep 8, 2024Listing is accurate. Cabin was difficult to locate at night, but the off-hours staff was very helpful and drove out to show us where to go. Good home base for exploring Yosemite, about an hour drive from the valley. Space was sufficient for family of six.

Stayed Aug 14, 2024We had a great time! Loved the cabin, loved staying in the national park for convenience and had a great experience overall with our trip. Redwoods staff was friendly and helpful. Only surprise was that the cabin was not as secluded as it appeared. Several other private cabins around, but ended up being a very peaceful and nice area to stay.

Stayed Aug 5, 2024This cabin is well equipped for family use. The only drawbacks (as advertised) there is only one bathroom. Not a lot of mirrors hanging about for “getting ready” outside of bath. Would have given 5 stars for cleanliness, however, tons of spiderwebs where walls meet ceiling. Grab an extension rod and give it a sweep? Antique stove was tricky but functional. Loved the swing bridge swim at end of street. a pilot?

Stayed May 25, 2024We had a great stay at Wawona during the Memorial Day long weekend. The location is good, refreshing and close enough to the Yosemite valley. However, the place didn't have enough paper towels, salt and pepper, shampoo and bathroom essentials. So you will have to bring everything with yourself or you can buy it in the Yosemite super market. Communication with the property manager was a little bit hard and they were slow in responding to the messages. Overall, it was a great stay.

Stayed Oct 13, 2023Great chalet in the mountains of yosemite! Kids loved the wood stove and the loft. Laundry was great. Checkin was delayed due to staffing issues, but they took care of us in the end. Vintage stove and sink bring challenges if not used to operating, but the charm is wonderful and we were able to cook all our meals. Definitely would stay again! Super cozy feels!

Stayed Jul 13, 2023This cabin is perfect for our family. Our kids loved the loft and the open living, dining, and kitchen area makes for great fellowship beginning and ending the day. The cabin has plenary of space and the essentials for a great stay inside the park. And the Pine Tree Market is a great place to stop for your perishable food. We loved our stay and hope we get to comeback someday!

Stayed Jun 28, 2023We enjoyed staying in the A-frame cabin with loft and it was a lovely scenic drive into the valley. Downstairs beds were very comfortable. Kitchen living area suited a family very well. Appreciated being able to do laundry and use the grill. Had some difficulty with using older gas stove.
