Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is beautiful. Overall clean however, could use a deep cleaning. The garbage should be picked up around the outside of property. Grill should be cleaned. Although towels and bed linens are there, there could be more towels in each bathroom. There were pillows in the closets but no extra pillow cases. The are several coffee pots, two didn’t work. Bring extra garbage bags, coffee filters, washer detergent. No coffee filters are provided, there are limited garbage bags and washing machine detergent. We cooked all our meals there. There are sufficient kitchen utensils, pots, pans, baking sheets. The property served our large group perfectly with bunks in several of the bedrooms for families and bathrooms in each bedroom.

House was great! Plenty of space and the beds were comfortable.

Budi did a great job getting us booked and settled into this cabin. This was our 16th annual family trip to the Lead/Deadwood area and I think this was either the nicest (or second nicest) cabin we have stayed at. The kitchen was amazing and wonderfully stocked with everything we needed to prepare all our meals. The garage was really set up nice for all the game tables and cornhole. Furniture and beds were exquisitely made and master shower was amazing. Would gladly stay at this cabin again. Al G.

The property was great for our family gathering of 8 siblings and spouses . Some things that we would have appreciated to have include dressers and extra hooks in the bedrooms, body wash or soaps in the showers, Kleenex, there was only one dishwasher pod, and upgraded cooking utensils. Beds were comfortable, patio was wonderful and tables and couches were great . Thanks for letting us stay in your property.

The kitchen was well equipped. We had everything we needed to make our meals. We had plenty of trash bags and toilet paper for the long weekend. The house was easy to find. The kids enjoyed the community pool and the hot tub on the premise. There were a few amenities that were there that surprised us as we didn’t see them on the description: lots of extra outdoor chairs in the garage, corn hole set, outdoor pickleball net, crockpots, and numerous coffee pots. So this house has everything you could want. There were plenty of towels and two washers and dryers when towels got wet from the pool. The neighborhood was quiet. I would recommend this house for any big reunion or gathering. Thank you!

We had plenty of room for everybody plus some. The Lodge has a well-equipped kitchen and the whole place was very clean. The view is beautiful. We enjoyed the back deck in the mornings and the hot tub in the afternoon. Thank you for providing a wonderful location for our Christmas.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been vacationing in the Black Hills for many years - in all seasons. For many of those getaways we have rented from Black Hills Adventure Lodging (BHAL). Budi is a fabulous host as always. That being said, this beautiful home was short on several amenities or items. It's size was perfect - the layout not so much. We had four families consisting of 10 adults and seven children (ages 5-15). Two of the bedrooms were less than three feet from the large kitchen where folks always gather. Only one bedroom had a closet or a place to put clothing/luggage away. Some bedrooms were missing TVs. Not a huge deal, but it would've been nice to have sound to block kitchen noise. It previous homes we have rented there was a flattop grill. For homes that accommodates large numbers of people, one kitchen cook top and a regular size single wall oven isn't great. A flattop helps with breakfasts or grilling. The other properties we have stayed at had flattops. Our first night grilling we ran out of propane. Budi was extremely prompt with her response and brought one out. In comparison to other homes we have rented through BHAL we are used to at least two coffee pots available to us - again for large numbers of people. The Longhorn Lodge had one upstairs and we had to search for the other downstairs in the bar area. It ended up not working. There were plenty of plates and glasses, not enough coffee cups. There were very few serving items such as tongs or large spoons. We are used to a large commercial fridge in the garage for food and beverages (Reno Creek Lodge). This home had two fridges on the main level and one in the lower level. It honestly looked like they may have run out of funds when completing the home. I definitely recommend BHAL, just not this particular property.

This property worked great for our team retreat. The kitchen was perfect and everyone had their own room. It was clean and spacious. We loved walking outside and were really close to the Mickelson Trailhead.

There was plenty of room for everyone the kids to have their own space! Very clean house and more than enough room for storage of food/drinks and anything else. Convenient for every guest to have their own bathroom and for older guests, they wouldn't have to use stairs. Location is great and close to deadwood and spearfish canyon. Would recommend to anyone. Close to clubhouse to enjoy swimming or any other amenities provided there.

Highly recommend! Plenty of room for our seven couples and several children. Private bathrooms in the bedrooms which everyone appreciated. Kids loved the game room and we enjoyed the spacious hot tub. So much space to cook and all kinds of seating. More than enough for everyone! Beautiful, clean place that was everything and more we hoped for.

Plenty of space and bathrooms for our group of 6 families. After a day on the trails everyone was able to shower right away without running out of hot water, which was amazing! Nice big driveway and garage for our trailers and sxs. Beautiful home, well stocked with kitchen supplies. Budi was very responsive to any questions or concerns, which was great! We all drove separately and pulled trailers with our UTVs and there was plenty of space to park. This house was fully furnished, it even had a high chair and pack n play.
